  1. Wrestlers of the Day: Edge: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657830p1.html Ric Flair: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657831p1.html
  2. No video yet of Jake or Damian yet. Apparently the IGN guys just mentioned it during their commentary for their "No Mercy" PPV
  3. Wrestler(s) of the day (There will be two from now on I think) Heidenreich: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657609p1.html William Regal: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657615p1.html Very nice to have Regal back in the game.
  4. Online Mode revealed: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657279p1.html Can defend belts, and play in: Single, Tag (Normal, Tornado, Elimination Normal and Elimination Tornado), Special Referee, Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Handicap, Backstage Brawls, Battle Royal (Four Player only), Buried Alive, First Blood, Fulfill Your Fantasy, Hardcore, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man, Ladder, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC, and Title Matches. And trade CAWs online, which is awesome. Bad news on CAW though: ""how many guys can you make," the final number is just under 30 per memory card (though you can't import any of them into season mode beyond the one player character)" That just blows.... 30 isn't nearly enough, and you can't add them in season. Total downer for me...

  7. And to cap off a big SD Vs. RAW news day... a look at the 3D Locker room: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/656/656775p1.html Very much like the crib feature in other sports games.

  9. Wrestler of the day: John Cena http://ps2.ign.com/articles/656/656433p1.html
  10. PWG's "Straight To DVD" Takes Places On Friday, October 14! By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer Rainbow Lake, CA – Newly promoted Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) commissioner Dino Winwood's first solo event seemed to be going pretty well, until things got out of control, that is. First, Scott Lost interfered on behalf of Joey Ryan. Then Joey hit Dino with a chair. Then Joey interfered on behalf of Scott. Then Chris Bosh punched a ref. Then Chris Bosh won the match and was the new champion. Then Kevin Steen was still champion. Then Dino Winwood learned first hand about stomach ulcers. The biggest news of the evening came when Chris Bosh actually pinned PWG Champion Kevin Steen, but the result was immediately overturned, as Bosh was disqualified for striking PWG official Marty Valenza earlier in the match. Kevin Steen felt that this was an extremely fortunate turn of events, but Bosh, along with many fans, felt this was extremely unfair. Commissioner Winwood decided to make lemonade out of the situation, and give Chris Bosh a rematch! Not only is Chris Bosh getting a rematch, but former PWG Champion AJ Styles is getting a rematch! Wha huh?! That's right! AJ Styles, who did not receive his rematch for the title, pinned Steen during the Battle of Los Angeles, is also demanding a rematch against Chris Bosh, who defeated him in the finals of BOLA 2005! The only way to possibly make sense of all these convoluted rivalries is to make the main event of "Straight To DVD" a 3 Way Match for the PWG Championship, with "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen defending the title against "Photogenic" Chris Bosh and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles! Also taking place at "Straight To DVD" on Friday, October 14 at 8PM at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC is: - Newly crowned PWG Tag Team Champions Super Dragon & Davey Richards vs. Chris Sabin & Petey Williams! Sabin and Williams were originally meant to face 2 Skinny Black Guys for the titles, but Sabin's injury forced a change in plans. Now that he's 100%, he and Williams intend to make this the 2nd shortest tag title reign in PWG history (The shortest is like 13 hours, so it's a tough one to beat.) - Joey Ryan vs. El Generico! With Joey's recent (questionable) victories over vastly technically superior opponents, he's gotten a bit of a big head. Everyone is sick of hearing about it, especially Dino, who is going to throw a little "ole!" Joey's way to deflate his oversized mellon! - Scott Lost vs. Chris Hero! Scott helped Joey Ryan defeat Chris Hero at "After School Special," and immediately after the match, Hero demanded a shot at one of the two! Dino obliged, but already has plans for Joey, so Hero can take out his frustration on "The Professional!" - "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. Scorpio Sky! Scorpio Sky still wants his revenge on Scott Lost, but he's going to have to get in line! Since Chris Hero is already getting a shot at Lost, Dino will give Scorpio Sky a chance to elevate his career by facing the one and only Christopher Daniels! - Disco Machine vs. Quicksilver! These two met in the frantic six man match at "After School Special," and Quicksilver wants to avenge his team's loss, but Disco intends to prove it was no fluke! Plus Dino Winwood will answer Joey Ryan's challenge! Also scheduled to appear: TJ Perkins, Top Gun Talwar, Ronin, Hook Bomberry, and More! Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "After School Special" takes place at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 8:00PM. The Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC is located at 1110 Bates Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029. Tickets are only $15, and will be available at the door. 11. Wrestler of the day: Chris Masters http://ps2.ign.com/articles/655/655900p1.html Plus "This Friday: Locker Room Explored, Plus -- All Legends Revealed "
  12. Those London videos were kinda dissapointing. Didn't even get to see the Dropsault and it's the same old 450. Sometimes I wonder if IGN sets out to have the most boring matches possible in their WOTD videos.
  13. New IGN article on the CAW and Create a belt: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/655/655272p1.html

  16. Trailer is up http://ps2.ign.com/articles/654/654949p1.html Which confirms 3 legends, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Stone Cold as Legends. I don't see anything about Vader, although I really hope it's true. As Vader is near the top of my list of wanted legends.
  17. Wrestler of the day: Doug Basham http://ps2.ign.com/articles/654/654640p1.html Dig that crazy TILT A WHIRL SLAM he has as his finisher.
  18. According to IGN, they are supposed to reveal the first batch of legends sometime tommorrow along with the "promo trailer" Interesting eh? Here's hoping for someone different like a Vader.
  19. Wrestler of the day: Eugene http://ps2.ign.com/articles/654/654362p1.html
  20. Right now it's supposed to be Nov. 14th. But who knows.... ALSO! Wrestler of the day: Sylvain Grenier (Hey, that rhymes!) http://ps2.ign.com/articles/654/654067p1.html Notes of interest: None really. He seems very generic, and has a normal DDT as a finisher.
  21. IGN article on the season mode: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/653/653677p1.html With 30 mins of new videos apparently.
  22. HHH is 95. There's a pic of everyone's overall ratings: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Magm...rosterstats.jpg All of this is still supposed to be subject to change however.
  23. Wrestler of the day: Joy Giovanni http://ps2.ign.com/articles/653/653444p1.html Good news though... no more divas left to cover now.
  24. Wrestler of the day: HBK! http://ps2.ign.com/articles/652/652806p1.html First look at Chris Masters as well.
