jesus the christ, the Bucks are turning it over like motherfuckers. 13 turnovers in the 3rd quarter

Well... I'm glad I'm not going to be in Iraq right now. People in the Arab world seeing the timing of the attack, just like two days after Bush endorsed Sharon's plan, seem to think this was all Bush. I also feel bad for the US hostage over there. As far as Israel's interests go, it was a good thing and right. However, this hurts *us* a lot in Iraq.

Mrs. White has a ton of good one-liners "It’s a matter of life after death. Now that he’s dead, I have a life." "Life after death is as improbable as sex after marriage." "You lure men to their deaths like a spider with flies.” “Flies are where men and most vulnerable.” and what's probably my favorite line of the whole movie by Col. Mustard: “This is war, Peacock!!! Casualties are inevitable, you can NOT make an omelette without breaking an egg. Every cook'll tell you that!” "but look what happened to the COOK!!!!!!"

Yes yes yes a million times YES!!!!!!! This movie is fucking great, its hilarious, witty, has A TON of awesome one-liners. I never get sick of it. Yes it's definetly one of the most underrated movies there is. As a matter of fact if you asked me what my favorite comedies are, I would say "Office Space and Clue"

Star Wars: Clone Wars Animated Series
bobobrazil1984 replied to pochorenella's topic in Television & Film
Extremely fun. Like. Some parts I liked even better than the prequel movies! The second half (episodes 10-20) was a lot better than the first half episodes. By the way, you can download each episode here: http://www.pcpages.com/1010101/ (they are made freely available by Cartoon Network and StarWars.com, those are just direct link downloads. They also have versions with commentary by the director of the microseries, that Tartosky guy (or however his name is spelled). the villian's name was General Grevious. -
What are your opinions on Bob Woodward? Objective journalist? Liberal media swine? Conservative apologist? His last book, "Bush At War" which was about the immediate aftermath of 9/11, painted a relatively positive picture of Bush, from what I read (I kind of skimmed it). He has a new book "Plan of Attack," about going to war with Iraq, is coming out soon. I'm not sure what kind of picture it will paint, but in this volitile time, close to the elections and all that, a negative or positive portrayal should make news, at least drudge seems to think so. I'm sure WOodward has already weathered tons of partisian stuff back in his Watergate days... so before that book comes out, lets lay the cards out on the table beforehand... either way one set of ideologues are gonna turn on him (unless he provides a boring neutral portrayal, but really where's the fun in that?). What do you think of Bob Woodward and his abilities? EDIT: For Bush at war, I understand Woodward had rather unprecedented access to them and materials for that point in time. I wonder how much access he has/had (or was it more leaks and stuff) for "Plan of Attack." Personally, I've heard the pphrase "When Bob Woodward listens, people talk." Usually his books (I've read his book "The Choice" which was about the primary season before the Clitnon/Dole election in 96) dont have much in the way of analysis. I'll go so far as to say that I don't think he has any particular partisan agenda. Not that anything he says is 100 percent accurate, but I really dont feel he is someone who would deliberatly distort facts to help or hurt a president. THATS JUST MY OPINION though, which I realized i neglected to mention above. Now I want to hear yours.

Way for Nick Dinsmore to evolve his character
bobobrazil1984 replied to Dandy's topic in The WWE Folder
The way to do it is, in the beginning he's a retard outside the ring, like last night... but as soon as the bell rings, he lets loose, is fast as hell, throwing suplexes all over the place, etc, just a wildly good and effective wrestler, and as soon as the match is over, revert back to retard... as he wins matches, becomes more successful and starts to move up the card, eventually people start to get suspicious about all this and wondering how it's possible he can be so good and smart in the ring and a total retard outside the ring. Basically do what they did with Goldust when they turned him face back in the day... slowly reveal that the 'retard'ness might actually be a mind game to throw his opponents off completely. As long as it's done gradually, with the end resutl in mind the entire time you're booking him, it can be done, quite easily. Has to be pre-planned though. -
What's next for Ashcroft? Levying fines against shows that depict people playing poker? Dancing?

Fucking religious right. These are the kind of push-their-morality-on-you people who are in bed with George Bush. (Kerry should start using this "vote for Bush, and you will lose your porn!" He'd win in a landslide!) read that first line. He's deciding what we can and cannot watch, and what is obscene. THE GUY PROBABLY THINKS showing someone downing a beer to unwind is "obscene"

bobobrazil1984 replied to DerangedHermit's topic in The WWE Folder
What should happen is, Eugene acts, uh... "special" everywhere all the time, but as soon as the bell rings for his match, he becomes a lightning fast super technical wrestler who starts tossing suplexes with benoit-like intensity... then as soon as the match is over he reverts back to 'special' mode. -
Aaah yes, me love my detroit :-) In the last few weeks they've spanked both NJ and Indiana, the other biggies in the East. Feeling good about their playoff chances (though Indiana will still be a tough bitch if they face int he playoffs)
-
Wow, I just woke up late and tuned into the Detroit/Indiana game on ABC... and the 4th quarter just started and it's a 50/58 score game... in 4th! Have they been playing good defense on each other or just both playing horribly?

FCC verdict in on music downloading case

Oh, THAT FCC. I thought maybe you meant the dipshit U.S. FCC. -
The part that Jack Black is playing... was this self absorbed bombastic self-promoter in the original. Sounds to me like a part jack black can play with his eyes closed.

^ well to answer your question also... (which also that took me 10 seconds in Google... Google is your friend Google is your friend Google is your friend)... this is from some Chicago Media Headlines site: The quote is just there cause I thought it was kinda funny.

WLIB-AM in New York, WNTD-AM in Chicago, and KBLA-AM in Los Angeles with San Francisco's station "yet to be named." according to Mediaweek http://www.mediaweek.com/mediaweek/headlin...t_id=1000459204 repeat after me... Google is your friend. Google is your friend. Google is your friend. edit: interestingly enough, both articles are from the same day, from a press conference call thing with reporters (like linda mcmahon does, i guess?), in which "they" apparently DID mention the stations, but I guess FOXnews forgot to include that information, which you were looking for.

Here's a recent article on what they are up to http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,113873,00.html ccording to that, it launches on march 31 in four major cities: NYC, LA, Chicago, and San Francisco. Not exactly a huge array of cities there, but they are major markets.

Former "Terrorism Czar" speaks out against Bush
bobobrazil1984 replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
http://news.myway.com/top/article/id/39405...06|reuters.html Sounds like everybody's playing bluff with each other. Might as well declassify everything so we can bitch about Fresh Fresh (tm the WB) statements! Argue... err i mean "discuss!" --- In all the talk over Clarke's positive remarks in his resignation letter, I'm surprised nobody has argued about this point yet, from the meet the press transcript This is the letter Bush sent to him when he resigned Full transcript: http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4608698/ So basically, they both wrote letters at the time praising each other... and now they're both at each other's throats. -
I think it would be.... fun.... if Bush talked about why outsourcing is good in the long term during one of the debates. It's one of those issues where even if he's correct in their long-term benefit, you STILL don't want to actually tell the American people this or try to explain it to them. It's a lose-lose issue that Bush should try his damnedst to ignore and Kerry should probably try his damnedst to harp on.

I have to agree, but only when the hobbit actors are together... they are lots of fun to listen to (not that the other actors dont have interesting stuff to say, they do, but its not nearly as fun as the hobbit actors joking around). I wish they had the whole movie to themselves to comment on
