that would be cool. something similar to the Wii's "nunchuck" attachment for the left hand would do the trick. Actually now that I think about it, it's such a foolproof idea i'm surprised i dont see a ton of these analog only PC controllers on the market.

I heard about his diary in another article. Apparently, Joker finds AIDs to be hilarious.

WWE General Discussion - December 2007

bahahaha! HHH is such a dick, i would find this hilarious if it was happening to a wrestler i didnt like. -
i saw it, it's pretty neat. But I don't actually want one, i'd have no use for it. But its a nice project and the laptops are kinda cool.

some photos he looks good, and in some he looks incredibly dopey and beetlejuice-ish.

what i mean is, yeah ok in general, a story like this in the internet video game world doesn't mean much, just as I dunno some shakeup at pwinsider or a hotel altercation involving orton or something doesn't mean much to the news world at large.................. but to people who follow a "niche industry" closely, it's very noteworthy. -

Once you ignore the fact that the video game (particularly video game on the internet) industry is a niche one, I'd say in the "gaming world" it's a pretty big story. I mean there are always in every industry cases of advertising pressure on reviewers, but the brazen-ness of just firing the guy seems kind of eye opening. i find it funny though that Kane and Lynch will pretty much permanantly be scarred by this. Even people who will never play it sort of think of it as this sucky bad game. kind of like Gigli -
Yes. If you've seen the jump from digital television to HDTV, it's tantamount to the difference between standard and upconverted DVD. really? The thing is, standard DVDs look far better than SD digital TV on my HDTV
-
that's something only a hardcore computer nerd would do, thus is irrelevant, since the majority of people don't and won't do that. or to look at it a different way - PC gaming caters only to hardcore computer nerds who build their own computers from wholesales. In other words, its basically the comics industry.

Here's a question. For a 720p HDTV (lcd)... is it worth getting an upconverting DVD player? or is the difference between "normal" DVD and up-converted to 720p DVD not that striking?

that photo is a lot better than the Empire photo.

Its a huge huge problem when most of the new games won't run on the computers (mid-level average priced) on sale at the best buys, circuit city, etc etc, ie where MOST people buy their computers. Imagine if 90% of the 360 games couldn't run with a smooth framerate on the XBox 360. by the way, one really underrated aspect of WoW's success IMO is that it's very "light" on computer and graphics requirements in comparison to everything else. It runs fine on my crappy laptop integrated card.

if that's true, that's really messed up. I mean i'm sure stuff like that happens now and again but for Gamespot to just be so brazen about it is mind-boggling. -
The movie was good. It was, however, not THAT funny. It was one of those things where I wasn't laughing much, but I was entertained the whole way through watching it. The actual STORY was actually strong enough to keep it going - which is something a show like, say, Family Guy could never do. I think it tried a little too hard trying to replicate "Luck of the Fryish" and "Jurassic Bark" and I saw the Lars twist coming - but it was still pretty good. I like the screen-time Bender got.

This isn't a surprise. I remember a howard stern appearance a few months back by the family, where it seemed fairly clear that they were planning to split. It was a very "hesitant" interview when he would question them about a possible divorce.

i predict the Wizards won't get any worse with him out. they might even put together a better win percentage.

They sure look real to me. I saw most of the game and it was the first time I saw any team take it to the Celtics so far. If everything stays the way it is right now those two teams will meet in the ECF. No disrespect to the Pistons, whom I haven't watched at all yet. Orlando is very good, but remember one of their losses this season was a spanking by the Pistons. The Pistons generally own them, but admittedly, we shouldn't place too much stock in last season (8-0) since they have a better coach and Rashard Lewis now, so we should see how the rest of the season shapes up, but i'd pick the Pistons over Orlando in a 7 game series *right now* mainly because of matchups, and they seem to regularly harass Dwight Howard into subpar games.

Impressive. It costs too much, but I can see why since they probably folded the cost of the EVDO network into it, since the user doesn't have to pay for access to it and doesn't have to rely on hotspots. e-Ink screens are really impressive, much better than LCD for reading text. They DID get past one of the hurdles of ebooks by pricing new eBooks at 9.99 (much less than hardcover versions). I thought it was mind boggling that eBooks could cost the same or MORE than physical books. When people see e anything, they expect it to cost a lot less. I've recently been putting eBooks (text or html only but still) on my iPod Touch, so I'm starting to gain an appreciation for the format. I tend not to carry around a bag when I go out (on the subway and such), so I really don't like the bulk of carrying a book to read, especially a hardcover one. Knock the price of this down 100 bucks and give, say, free credit for five eBooks or so and I might take the leap.

the whole thing seems oddly underwhelming... serves me right for actually tuning in for something.

Anyone notice how much of a dumbass Mohinder is? I swear, he exists soley to be manipulated. First by his neighbor chick, then by Sylar, then by the company (the first time), then by Bennet, then by the company again (this season).

Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session
bobobrazil1984 replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
knowing Vince he'll come to the hearings in full "Mr. McMahon" character, start growling at one of the Congressman and threaten to kick their ass! -
I once saw a fatality and it WAS like Mortal Kombat. a guy got the other guy dazed... he took exactly two steps back and did a "punch" motion with his hand, and then suddenly his hand went into the other guy's chest and he pulled out the guy's heart. Then another guy who was watching off to the side yelled out "Fatality!". It was weird.

Looks interesting but it seems stupid to use CGI to recreate actor's faces. Why not just do it in live action? I mean the CG was so "real" that the first time i saw the trailer, I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS CG..... but since I didnt know it was CG, i thought it didn't look very good.
