Well, I'm one of those "lost fans", i used to watch and don't anymore. I have on occasion caught 10 or 15 minutes but thats it. I still like reading abuot it on the internet tho. Still I was seriously considered specifically tuning in. i'm not even gonna bother next week (HHH, HBK, Vince? oh boy). Heroes ftw.

This one was totally sunk by bad booking. At one point, they had Austin beat Big Show clean on RAW, like 3 or 4 weeks after Big Shows' debut (right before WM15).

The Eric Bischoff being the minister at the gay wedding on Smackdown was a truly rare jaw dropping moment. (of course, all the follow-ups on that angle in the continuing bischoff vs steph brand feud sucked, except for the kiss, and the follow up to that sucked too, so... well... noticing a trend? but i digress). Yeah, that was cool and shocking. For one shining moment, that whole mess of a feud and the brand extension actually had that rare nWo/real-invasion heat, and Bischoff, for one night, was booked as the diabolical villian he always should have been booked as from day one. Imagine if something like this had been his debut, and it was Vince instead of Stephanie?

A Jericho return without promo time is no return at all.

So, is he finally coming back tonight? That would actually get me to tune in (well, at least the 2nd hour after HEROES ends). or maybe watch a youtube video of his return :-P

Detroit was doing pretty well for a while there. Pistons and Red Wings were at the top of their leagues, Tigers got to the World Series, it all sort of collapsed then.

I never understand really rushing out to buy an OS.. i mean, maybe if its a quantam leap but rarely are any OS' that big of a leap. What, OSX 10 and Windows 95? are the only two i can think of where it was actually MAJOR difference. In any case, PC or Mac, i jus wait until i buy my next computer and it should come pre-loaded.

I thought it was a great episode. While I enjoyed the one hour episodes, the show just felt "tighter" here, whereas the 1 hours felt slower. I really dug Michael's ad too, and the end was genuinely moving.

I cannot see Dumars giving up Amir Johnson in that trade. They basically feel like they got a lottery pick in the guy. I'd do Hamilton/Prince and filler. Maybe even Maxiell. I like Yao. I'm also convinced that peoples complaints are essentially... osmosis, sort of. Enough ESPN commentators say the same thing about somebody, it eventually becomes "accepted fact", like Yao. He's a beast. look at his numbers, and teams routinely throw double and triple teams at him. I would love to have him.

Going back to the original post... I did try it, when I was in London over the summer~! It was ok. Honestly, it tastes like you would think... like someone took half a bottle of Coca-Cola, and half a bottle of Orange Soda, and just mixed it together. You can taste both in there, but its not as good as either.

I got ahold of an iPod Touch, wouldn't have gotten it normally but I got it for around 220... pretty cool device. Multi-touch is way cool, and the screen is really nice for video. My music collection isn't huge and I dont spend a lot of time downloading video, only the occasional South Park or Office episode, so the space limitation is ok for me, but for those of you with many gigs of music/video, it's too small for you. Yesterday I did the "Jailbreak" on it, the Touch Jailbreak is software only, so you can restore it anytime in iTunes, but I'm still going to hold off on any new firmware. I installed some iPhone apps (Mail, Weather, Notes), and a few games (Tetris, minesweeper, lights, etc), an Instant Message client, an NES emulator, Summerboard, eBook Reader.

It was pretty good. Very gory. I also liked that the vampires were just brutal. They looked creepy too. They did something subtle there, look human-ish but somehow just 'off'. The most badass part was that high up birds eye shot scrolling across the town while you just see vampire figures killing people left and right, people running away screaming, etc.

This was a great great episode.

As I understand it,w hat the strike is about, is royalties/residuals on "new media", ie sales of shows on iTunes, other online sites, possibly DVDs also... writers get no royalties off of those. frankly they should extend whatever the percentages are for existing contracts, to digital ones.

I just read that myself. Actually, it makes sense sorta. The Grindlewald story was always a bit befuddling, but if he was in love with Grindlewald, all of a sudden it makes more sense.

as much as Shawn might deserve a lil humiliation for the shit he's pulled over the years, it's hard not to grin reading that article. The idea of someone doing that to Vince in front of the whole locker room is delicious. I wish I could have seen it.

i'd be shocked in hillary collapsed. There was very little doubt in my mind that she'd win the nomination, and in fact, I think she is going to be president for good or ill. just a hunch really, she (well her team) is surprisingly competent in national politics. There's tons of little negative bits on Hillary that come out as always, but they are good at forecasting which will be major issues and which will be forgotten and fight and ignore the correct ones. for my part, even though I think he's overhyped these days, I'd vote for Gore. I still respect him for speaking out early about how dumbass the iraq war was, and he is more experienced, and while he is a politician, i dont feel he is too corrupt (though elections have a nasty habit of proving this sort of assumption wrong )

I noticed that too I was wondering if the character of Micah was trying to feel her up or they were trying to hint at some pervy attraction between the two, the shots were just... oddly composed.

as far as the book thing goes, the best wya to do it is not for Jericho to mention it, but simply to make a big splash on his return then have JR or whoever mention his book. He'll be foremost in WWE fans' minds if he's put into a main event angle.
