no, the remote is the one with the motion sensor on it. For, say, baseball, you would swing the remote. The joystiq (or "nunchuck" as ppl refer to it) part i think also also has a motion sensor, but that part attaches to the remote. The remote is the main thingie.

looks like Resistance: Fall of Man is the only launch game worth a damn. I admit i didnt pay too much attention to it since it is a FPS, but looking at some screens/reviews I have to admit it does look pretty cool.

if they can't settle on one format, fuck em. I didn't jump to DVDs until they were taking up half the video store. Same thing with whatever new format there is. Bottom line they're going to need to make the next format have lots of real improvements. Simply improving the resolution isn't cutting it for me. Especially when I need to buy a SPECIAL FUCKING TV SET just to watch it. Give me a format where I can fit an entire season of a TV show on one disc/unit, in super crystal clear quality, in a format that I don't have to worry about scratches or degredation, and I'll consider it, until then, i'm stayin with DVDs.

supposedly the producer (whatshisname) asked Raimi for Venom in Spidey 3, citing it was what the fans wanted to see. Raimi and writers kicked it around a bit, and eventually, Raimi (claims) he became a fan of the character as they made the film. I can sorta see why, they managed to tie in the Venom story and the theme of revenge into all 3 plotlines (peter-sandman, harry-peter, brock-venom-peter).

Where do you get Espers from anyways? Meaning, you find em and beat em, and then what? Are they in the magik sections of the license board? The whole chain thing with the quickenings confuses me a little. I get you can hit the button of the other character's Quickening in the very beginning once the first quickening starts. What's the deal with the whole shuffle? I kind of pick up that the more you hit R2 the more damage it does, is it just a matter of hitting R2 as much as you can before hitting the chain button? seems kind of clunky to me. Also, anyone know any good spots to score some Teleport Stones? I have a few, but so few that I kinda don't want to use em, but I want to go head out to the plains and do some more hunts and stuff (I'm at the Tomb of Raithwhatever right now). I also wonder how far into the game as a whole I am? This game rocks hard.

why doens't nintendo just use those clips of people sitting around the couch, using the remote as a baseball bat or boxing or whatever. Those seemed to sell all the internet people.

this game has stolen my life I'm a believer in the battle system, i've been converted. Just roaming around the desert and plains killing randomly is actually very fun now, I spend more time doing that then I do moving the story forward, which is a first.

My theory, based on nothing (i'm avoiding spoilers) is that Harry somehow sets up the ruse to fuck with Peter's head bigtime. That would be hardcore evil. I'm also thinking of that first Sandman teaser poster, which showed him protecting a kid or something. Seems like an awfully sympathetic shot for someone who is supposedly ben parker's killer.

there's a really hardcore cool shot of Peter screaming, trying to rip off the symbiote, and you have these wiggling tendrils shooting out, like they're "screaming". awesome.

It would honestly take a lot of work for me to feel like The Others are good. Just the acts like kidnapping the kids, and going onto the boat with guns and such alone puts them in the "get what they deserve" category. The girl Sun shot absolutely deserved it, that's what you get when you start trying to steal and threaten. To say nothing of the people Ethan and Goodwin killed (Scott/Steve, whichever was the one that died, and the guy Goodwin snapped). And retaliation for Eko's bludgening means nothing to me since they were kidnapping people. Try to kidnap me or one of my kids, and I have no problem killing you. And then there's Charlie being strung up by the neck.
