I dunno i'd be kinda psyched if I fuond ancient arrowheads. Indians (of the domestic kind) leave them? Imagine it, those arrowheads coulda been owned by an Indian who raped the 14 y/o daughter of the tribe chief. Imagine that.

No probably not any nintendo game ever made. But many of them will be available. Most likely all of the first party games at the very least. it will be done online and downloaded via Wii's internet connection. This is called the virtual console. I don't recall the cost, but I think it's like $5.00 for an NES game, $8.00 for N64 games?

um, you're back? from where? or more to the point, you were gone??

i'd imagine you'd have to program some pretty complicated gambit/strings if you wanted to the game to "play itself" without dying at every tough fight. it might be a fun expirement to try on a second play-through after you beat it.

cutting him now was fine, the dumbass move was trading an expiring contract to get him in the first place.

This guy's a dirty motherfucker.

This episode = meh. Nikki's storyline is lame and they spent WAY TOO MUCH time on it, especially since most of it was telegraphed early on.

my theory is that the big boom IS either Peter, or Sylar, or even both, when they reach critical mass. like if ALL the heroes meet for the first time, and Peter's around them all, and gains all their powers, kablooey. I say this because so far nobody has been shown an actual motive to want to destroy the city.

Yeah I've heard some stores have broken the release date early. Too bad my local Best Buy didn't Circuit City is selling them for 38 bucks, which is cheap compared to 50 at other places.

Joy to the world. all the boys and girls. -
I'm sorry, you are a complete idiot for actually paying for something for someone you never met. Seriously you're a fool. Even a social misfit like me laughs at you. I'm laughing at you right now. Except i"m at work so I'm not actually laughing out loud, i'm stony faced pretending to do work, but inside i'm laughing at you.

i'd read the WON notes if someone put them here, and i dont even watch the shows n e more. Yes I used "n e" instead of "any". suck it bitches.

Oh man, this is fucking annoying as hell. I have the same problem, and it's almost a killer. Firefox was great and light for a while when it first came out but these days it has its own set of problems. I still like it more than IE, just barely, but i've considered switching back or to opera because of this memory bullshit. does firefox 2.0 really fix the memory issue?

i've been hearing raves about the storyline. Supposedly they took the scriptwriting much more seriously, its a more mature twisty turny political intrigue kind of thing rather than the typical 'lone hero saves the world' thing.

I'm so psyched about this. I'll be getting it on Halloween. A real Final Fantasy game, none of this spinoff extraneous online crystal chronicals garbege. Thank f'ing god. I'm really interested in the new system, though maybe i'll start out on "wait mode" and ease into it.

is Scarlett considered part of the anorexic generation? One of the reasons I like her is her curvy busty curves. Anyways, I saw it and it was really good. Nice upping the ante back and forth, and the dual revelations were both excellent. Great cast too. Although I have to say i think they cheated a bit with This movie, though based on a book, is actually reminscent of a different book I read called Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, which was also about warring magicians in old times, though that one was set during the Napoleanic wars in England and they both did real magic, but the way the rivalry develops is similar. Great book that, I'm also interestd in reading the Prestige book.

Part 3 of the really cool Zelda retrospective series from gametrailers.com just got posted. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/28/legend-o...pective-part-3/ Posted the joystiq link b/c its just easier than navigating the clunky GT page. Links to part 1 and 2 are also on above page Watchingthose I'm reminded of how awesome Gameboy's Link's Awakening was. Classic gameplay that really deserves to stand alongside Link to the Past as a great zelda game. i remember playing it on the original monochrome game boy and being amazed at the size, it was almost as good as link to the past and had the same gameplay. -
the controller size of the dual shock was perfectly fine to me. and for millions of other people. But I agree they should have adjusted the analog stick position. I think they should have pulled a 360 and put the stick as the "main" thing with the dpad below. Remember though, this was kind of a hasty replacement for the boomerang controller. Speaking of which, did we ever get to see the back of the boomerang? Assuming it's got an inward curve like the dualshock/sixaxis, I think that could have been a good controller. btw, the 20GB version looks better. The silver on 80 looks a bit tacky.

I dunno, Rush Limbaugh has kept his job. -
the general ideas as he describes it sounds kind of interesting, but its still tacky as hell. Nobody's stupid enough to be surprised by the controversy, which indicates that choosing a current president to buy it in the movie was done as a publicity stunt deliberately.

how is the single player game? and is the online portion the old monthly fee model? -
The thing about the auctions, as I now understand it, only applies to PRE-ORDERS.
-
huh? since when are there rules for specific items on ebay? is eBay just going to shut down auctions by people with feedback of, say, 2?

another theory I've heard is that LaRussa didn't push because he didnt want his own players put under any sort of microscope. Apparently, according to some players over the news shows, its very widespread among pitchers, its just usually someone isn't dumbassed enough to put it in plain sight on his hands. if Rogers gets kicked, Leyland then asks the umps to go check a cardinal's pitcher, and "make sure you check this spot on his glove". Leyland and LaRussa are veterens, as well as knowing each other, there's no doubt taht Leyland would know more of the little tricks.
