i actually like da vinci better than angesl and demons, however thats more because I found the subject matter more entertaining and interesting. Angels and Demons is more thriller and movie-ish and would fit well in film.

^ I doubt it. there's very little direct references from one to the other. Hell, they could simply make Angels and not mention anything about the timing and it'd work either as sequel or prequel.

Ian McKellen is in the movie? Bad ass! The voiceover was kind of cheesy though. the book entertained the hell out of me, so I'm definetly looking forward to the movie. as for what its about, it sounds pretty stupid when described so I'll just skip that and say the book was a breezy, addictive, and entertaining read (I think i said that already)

Random thoughts: -Looks pretty cool. -dont like the references to 'cult hit' or whatever, pigeonholes the movie. its remarkable how many people will avoid something if they're convinced its only "geek stuff". -something sounds off about Mal's voice. -The Reaver (?) cameo was cool. -River kicks ass. -A little too many title/text screens. -Very cool effects. Looks like they ditched the muted sound aspect. -River kicks ass. -Western elements have been mostly phased out it appears. Mixed feelings about that. On the show I wasnt so hot about the western stuff, but if you take them out, it feels kind of "generic sci-fi". -Good job establishing background on characters -I didn't see Book anywhere -River kicks ass.

the controller is fairly similar to the ps1/2 controler, its just way (way way) curvier/rounder around the edges. hopefully it will keep the comfort level of the Ps1/2 controlelr (my favorite controller ever)

wow, that looks pretty impressive, both in specs and interesting design. i like it better than xbox360. of course what really decides is the game library, but assuming it has the kind of library the PS2 built up, it looks like a winner.

I thought I was watching an original trilogy movie or something when watching Volume 2 (all at once). Sucker moved through action, fun, and plot, with virtually little sitting around exposition. I probably already meantioned this before but the assault on Coruscant could easily have been the best onscreen battle of the whole series (and kicked the BUTT of matrix 3's attack on zion). "Why the fuck aren't we seeing this in the movies!?" was a common utterance from my mouth when watching it, especially Anakin's initiation from pupil to full jedi knight, that was badass. yet another aweosme moment that we didnt see in the movies. It would have made a great prequel film #2 (with AOTC being Ep1, and phantom menace simply not exisitng).
