Oh, no doubt. As has been said, Vince won't admit defeat over the Split. It'll be there until it can absolutly not continue, or SD! gets dropped and can't get a deal. Then I'm afraid for the new ECW, it might get bumped for SD!, even if it's doing better. Just 'cause Vince-created shit is automatically better than anybodyelse-created shit. Especially Paul Heyman.

Exactly. Comic Books are the one medium that you can do anything your imagination can dream up. It's just when they make non-sensical changes just because they can, or if they totally miss the point of the original stories that they're adapting, then it's gay. But I'm pretty much happy just to see characters I've read about and watched cartoons of, and played with action figures of, and all that shit, up on the big screen. It gives me that feeling I get Hogan comes out to 'Real American', or I see new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Masters of the Universe and G.I. Joe stuff. Or when Frank Miller draws a comic, or when Ian McKellen started being in a bunch of badass roles... It's a high better then just nostalgia. It's fucking great, man.

I've gotta see this movie, just to see if it sucks or not, with all these different opinions and reviews I've read. But hell, I like anything with Tom Hanks for the most part.

Yeah, the 90's cartoons were good about the way they translated the comic stories they were inspired by, most of the time. Sidenote: I always thought it was cool when the original creator's of the comics would get credited as writers, or something similar in the 90's Marvel cartoons.

Yeah, but Venom's origin sucks in the comics, anyway. Bendis did a much better job with it over in Ultimate Spidey, if he ever leaves that title Ultimate Venom will probably become as fucked up, stupid and convulted as the regular one. But I don't give a fuck if the sybiote is Peter Parker's radioactive shit that he rejects. I just think Venom would look cool as fuck on the screen, and there's a chance to tell Venom's story in one single story, and do it right. That's something the comics can never do. Well, for damn near any character, really.

This is true in some record store, usually bigger chain stores. Some record stores, chain or mom and pop shop, still seperate the two. Walmart, Target and places like that always have them lumped together. It's because rock and pop are played on the same stations, once hip-hop starts getting played next rock and pop even more, then I think the whole goddamn record store will be one big A-Z, with Country setting off to the side.

I sat down to watch the first episode of PHF, because the previews made it look decent. I'm chillin', smokin' my blunt, and not long after smoking that and a cig, the show was over, and nothing had happened. Literally, nothing. Two characters met. We know next-to-fucking-nothing about either of them, but it seems they'll be the leads. That's it.
