Yup. At least in Pittsberg they did, and here is St. Louis they do. There's like, 15 different types of Cheerios on the shelf.

What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?
FroGG_NeaL replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, but an entirely kayfabed one like the shit they do for Kane. And totally exagerate every little thing, like only Vince can. I'd buy it, and damn near everyone that's been listed in this thread. My List: The Ultimate Randy Savage - Do it now before he goes completely nuts, so he can be a part of the main feature. The Ultimate Kurt Angle - Do it soon, because I don't want a best of Kurt Angle with the sad story of the motherfucker dieing or paralysing himself in the ring. The Ultime Eddie Guerrero - Obvious The Ultimate Ricky Steamboat - And I demand He and Flair have alternate commentary for any of thier matches on there. The Ultimate nWo The Ultimate Chris Jericho - Focusing on all the good shit, not the dog shit. The Ultimate Steve Austin - I still don't know why his hasn't been done. The Ultimate Sting - I want this one and The Ultimate The 4 Horsemen - more than any. The Ultimate Shawn Michaels - I still don't know why his hasn't been done. The Ultimate Ric Flair II - Obvious. One for Owen, and some more Tag-Team sets. And that Steve Blackman set would be fucking awesome. Maybe in 10 or 15 years when Blackman and RoadDogg are "Legends", we'll see some discs on him. Anthology Sets for all the major PPVs like the WM one would be cool, and ones for Starcade, and a few other WCW ones. Plus, An Anthology of ECWs PPVs. These would be all the Wrestling DVDs I would ever need, other then a few things here and there that WWE don't have access to at the time. -
Whoa, my bad homey. I just downloaded it a few weeks back, and I guess it's got new themes added. 2002. Jesus Christ. See, a few years ago I would have known that, along with a fuck load of other useless wrestling. These days, I just watch it like it's the bad last few years of a really good sitcom. You know, you've been watching it forever so you really wanna see how it all ends anyway. And through all that shit, I've actually marked out on several occasions for various things. However, wrestling is the second best use for Tivo, after commercials. But, uh, yeah... Themes and stuff. Why the fuck is Silkk The Shocker on this CD? And look, his shit sucked so bad he doesn't even get it used as a theme for anybody.

Nastiest head drops in wrestling history.
FroGG_NeaL replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
Man, I thought Lita was seriously fucked when I saw that. Another one that noone has mentioned is Brock Lesnar fucking A-Train up with an F-5. I thought dude's neck was broke for sure. -
Agreed. Gotta through some love to trish/Mickie as well.

The reason Carlito's theme cuts short and starts again is because the full song is very, very gay. It's on the 3 disc WWE Anthology set.

So what did you guys think about Vince McMahon's legdrop through the table?
-
RRR is right. John Cena is suffering from "The Jeff Hardy Effect", in which he gets booed by guys more because the females and kids are cheering him.

Just still cotton balls in the open sockets when you smoke, it worked for me.

Sal is one of my favorite artists. I like his work on The Incredible Hulk And Spectacular Spider-Man Dude had a good run on Spider-Man, too. He was the srtist from 134 to 212. Discuss.

He's Sandman, apparently... -
I saw Ozzy on Conan O'Brien, it was a rerun, had Jessica Alba on it promoting that last movie, Deep Blue or whatever. Ozzy was promoting his latest CD, which actually has covers of Beatles songs and others on it. Anyway, he says they're working on a movie about him, and they want Johnny Depp to star as the Oz-Man.

50 Cent disses Kanye and New Orleans, praises Bush
FroGG_NeaL replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Music
Jay-Z isn't as popular as 50 Cent, he hasn't had any albums sell as much as 50's last two have, and he's never had a Billboard #1 single while 50's already had 3 (and probably another one soon with "Window Shopper") Jay-Z as president of Def Jam is more of just a figurehead than anything, L.A. Reid still runs the label. Jay-Z only makes money off of the sales of Roc-A-Fella artists and the only Roc artist worth a shit is Kanye West. The rappers he's tried to develop on his own have failed miserably (Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya'll seriously, listen to this dude. He does know what he's talkin' about. Look in a XXL Magazine, or go to allhiphop.com, all this shit is public knowledge. -
I was watching the Bloodbath DVD, and the Flair/ Garvin math came on. Jesus Christ Garvin was throwing some hard mofuckin' punches on Flair in the corner.

Ever Wonder How Scripted The Shows Are Now?

For all the shit this movie seems to get at every mention of it's name, it seems that everyone fails to mention the good things. The best example being the bad guys. All of the "Evil Warriors" look fucking swank in this flick. From the Skull Captain down to his Stormtrooper Academy dropouts, they be pimpin' yo. Discuss. FroGG

I think it's actually the acuostic version of "Broken" that features Amy Lee from Evanesense. Still a good tune though, as well as the one this thread was about. F~N

"Gorilla Monsoon Rap" by Talib Kweli feat. Black Thought and Pharoahe Monch from Kweli's album Quality. I can't recal spcifics right now, but I've heard Nas, Biggie, Eminem, Redman, Method Man, damn near every member of Wu-Tang, members of D12, Jay-Z, Icecube... just off the top. I've heard almost as many wrestling references in hiphop as I've heard comic book ones. F~N

funky Pronunciation Key adj. funk·i·er, funk·i·est Having a moldy or musty smell: funky cheese; funky cellars. Having a strong, offensive, unwashed odor. Music. Of or relating to music that has an earthy quality reminiscent of the blues. Combining elements of jazz, blues, and soul and characterized by syncopated rhythm and a heavy, repetitive bass line. Slang. Earthy and uncomplicated; natural: “At the opposite end of Dallas's culinary spectrum is funky regional fare” (Jacqueline Friedrich). Slang. Characterized by originality and modishness; unconventional: “a bizarre, funky [hotel] dressed up as a ship, with mock portholes and mirrored ceilings over the beds” (Ann Louise Bardach). Outlandishly vulgar or eccentric in a humorous or tongue-in-cheek manner; campy: “funky caricatures of sexpot glamour” (Pauline Kael). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [From funk, strong smell, tobacco smoke, perhaps from French dialectal funquer, to give off smoke, from Old French fungier, from Latin fmigre. See fumigate.]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- funki·ness n. Word History: When asked which words in the English language are the most difficult to define precisely, a lexicographer would surely mention funky. Linguist Geneva Smitherman has tried to capture the meaning of this word in Talkin and Testifyin: The Language of Black America, where she explains that funky means “[related to] the blue notes or blue mood created in jazz, blues, and soul music generally, down-to-earth soulfully expressed sounds; by extension [related to] the real nitty-gritty or fundamental essence of life, soul to the max.” The first recorded use of funky is in 1784 in a reference to musty, old, moldy cheese. Funky then developed the sense “smelling strong or bad” and could be used to describe body odor. The application of funky to jazz was explained in 1959 by one F. Newton in Jazz Scene: “Critics are on the search for something a little more like the old, original, passion-laden blues: the trade-name which has been suggested for it is ‘funky’ (literally: ‘smelly,’ i.e. symbolizing the return from the upper atmosphere to the physical, down-to-earth reality).” [Download or Buy Now] Source: The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition Copyright © 2000 by Houghton Mifflin Company. Wrong. A lot of places still don't get UPN, while Spike TV and USA come prepackaged with most cable and satelite deals. UPN is a basic cable chanel, but there are a lot of areas that can't pick it up. I've never been to someone's house who couldn't get USA or Spike TV. Provided they have cable or satelite of course, and really now, who doesn't? Oh, and glad to here the ratings hit the 4's. WWE is definitely going in a good direction right now. Last time a bunch of name talent left and they were forced to make new satrs is when the boom happened, so maybe that's happening again. F~N
