MMA has rules and regulations, same as boxing. In both, people get hurt, beat the fuck up, sometimes die. That shit doesn't happen all that often. If anybody enjoys pro wrestling, knowing all the shit that happens to those guys in the ring or not, should never ever feel guilty about watching MMA or boxing, UFC...whatever. There are far more sad stoies in wrestling then there will ever be in MMA or boxing, and wrestling is the "fake" one. Compare a Tank Abbott or Ken Shamrock to a Steve Austin or Kurt angle. The two wrestlers are way worse off physically and or mentally then the two UFC guys, and Angle and Austin's problems started within the past, what, 7 years, and the UFC dudes had been at it longer then them at what they were doing. But anyway... Some MMA mixed in here and there can be a good thing. Guys like Benoit, Angle, Punk, Finlay, Regal, Low-Ki, Somoa Joe, Terkay... these are the type of dudes that could pull it off. If Carlito and Chris Masters come out doing some MMA type shit ti would be horrible. Even if they managed to pull it off to look decent, the crowd wouldn't really buy it and it would go against thier established styles.

I don't give a fuck about the chants. They seem to give the wrestlers this look on thier face that says, "Hey let's turn this up a notch." And usually it results in some cool mofuckin wrestling.

Drinking caffiene constantly seems worse then smoking an occasional joint or having a drink everyonce in a while. But, hey. More power to him, I fucking exstatic that there are folks in the wrasslin' biz that may come out of it as half way normal people.

Tomko and Bernard seem to have gotten so much better after they weren't being generic WWE big guys anymore.

I haven't read any ongoing DC comics for years. I'm interested in starting again. Should I start with Infinite Crisis, then go to 52, then One Year Later? I know my Dc up through...'97 or '98. Will I be able to start at IC then go forward and understand what the fuck is going on?

Also, 100 Bullets is the bomb diggity. Hitman is good shit. Fables can be excelent. And I fuckin' love All star Bat-Man & Robin The Boy wonder. It's an alternate reality BatMan. Same as Marvel's Ultimate line. I think Frank might just be satiring the Ultimate line with this book.

Gotdamn, I love that book. Robert Kirkman is the first comics writer with Erik Larsen as an influence, and the art makes it seem to fit in well with the Savage Dragon universe, which id basically the Image Universe now, plus Bill Crabtree on colors is brilliant as always. The twists in this book are amazing, the cliffhangers make you want more, dialogue is great. Have you read Kirkman's "Brit". There are 3 oneshots with art by Tony Moore. It started out before Invincible, but takes place in the same universe. Brit works for the same guys in the government that Invincible does. There's even a page in one of the books where it shows all the heroes introduced in Invincible battling the aliens that invaded that Omni-Man and Mark fought. All the guys from Images hero books are there, Dragon, Super Patriot, Capes...everybody that was a the Gaurdians Funeral. But yeah, Invinvible, Savage Dragon and the other Image-verse books are my favorites right now. It's like the Marvel Universe in the Silver-Age, except now, and with modern sensibilities.
