It's not looking good at the moment. Luckily I live a bit out of the way of all the flooding at present. I've got a wedding to go to tomorrow that is in Gloucester, we've had to rent a 4x4 to make sure we can get there in case we encounter anything too bad. Maybe this will wake some peolple over this side of the world to the problems of global warming, that it's not just something that affects 'other places.' Anyone from here been affected by this at all?

I've been to Reading every year since 2000 and I do remember 2002 and 2005 being reasonably bad weather wide. Nothing terrible. It was just a shit for parking in 2005 as allot of the space ear marked for that had been flooded and was unsuitable. Had to walk absolutely miles to and from the car that year. The weather hasn't been too bad in Salisbury either. It's been mainly stuff a l bit further north that has really taken the battering. It is rather wonderful the chaps fishing isn't it?

Whilst certainly not the best reason in wrestling for people to be fighting one another, I do feel it is somewhat better than no reason at all.

The one he did in ultimate X didn't look to awful. Can be covered by saying he was going for added impact by landing across his opponent. Anyway, I think that can clearly be forgiven for the totally boss ace crusher he hit on Daniels.

I'm going to be a bit miffed if Reading is still feeling the brunt of this next month. I have a festival to attend dammit.

I haven't watched any long Kazarian matches, but when he was tearing through all the undercard on Velocity hitting a load of sweet looking offence was wonderful time.

I can't recall anything quite as serious as this in recent history. I believe the last time we were hit really badly by flooding was 1947. A lot of people seemed quite happy to put the weather down to simply being the poor British climate.

Hot Chip - 'Keep Fallin' Gots to love that kazoo solo.

That damn Samoa Joe just had to check into rehab right in the middle of his push to the title didn't he?

Burchill definatly needs the call up again. ECW & Smackdown are desperate for some fresh talent to plug gaps. Cody Rhodes all got the call up from development as they wanted some fresh talent on the main roster, but apparently they don't see anyone else as ready it's been reported. Sounds like complete balls when they've got Burchill right there.

For a little while now I just haven't been too fired up about wrestling. But I watched a Claudio match last night and it has revived my wrestling spirit. It was everything that I like about wrestling right now. It mixed the fun and serious so well. The whole stripper style rip-apart tux was fantastic, throwing out the 'Heeeeeeys' etc was wonderful and then a throughly enjoyable competitive squash over Sterling James Keenan ensued. What's not to love. Don't get me wrong, I've seen plenty of Claudios work in the past, but it had been a while and it just flicked a switch inside me.

Wrestling generally doesn't seem to get any love from networks in the US. I would guess they feel it doesn't need promoting as they see wrestling as having it's own in built fanbase, so they don't need to advertise to attract new fans. Also, production costs of a wrestling show are significantly lower than most shows aren't they? You'd think saving money putting it on all year round that they'd be happy to advertise the crap out of it.

Not entirely suprising that he'd be reluctent to return then. I'll definatly check out the Corino matches. I haven't watched any Khali matches in a long time, but is he not using the choke bomb as his finish?

I've been enjoying a bit of 'Guitar' of the album. It's not a classic by anymeans, but it's a good enough number to warrent 3 or so minutes of my time. It's been getting a decent amount of air play over on 6Music, I believe it's on the A Play list.

I'm pleased that they're doing something with Kazarian again. I thought it was reflective of TNA as a whole that they were happy to waste him when he came back as punishment for leaving in the first place. Such a petty thing to do.

I'd been thinking the other day how much I missed seeing Tajiri on WWE tv recently. Apparently the Observer is reporting that feelers were sent out to see if he was interested in coming back, unfortunatly not. Shame. He would be so useful on Smackdown right now to anchor the C/W division. (or lack thereof) He'd even be believeable pushed as a challenger for the US title.

I just heard about PWG returning to the UK. The show is going to be so close to where I live there's no excuse for me not to go along and check PWG out. I guess now is a good a time as any to check out some PWG stuff ahead of seeing it live.

I did think it slightly odd for ROH to be holding an event in such a large and important setting. Results from Osaka from the ROH board: They changed the card up a fair bit from the originally planned one. Briscoes defending the belts twice seems a little over the top. Would adding a minute or two to all the other matches been that hard. I suppose they wanted to use Rave and Horiguchi, but I'm sure the card could have been rejigged some other way to fit them in.

'07 I think I spent like 5 hours tops playing. Just didn't care. Especially with getting Guitar Hero 2 at the same time, spent all my free time playing that instead. All the previous editions I'd spent hours and hours on, but each version progressively less. The new one had better be something a bit special to warrent purchase. It'll probably only get a rental.

I've had a for a while now, it's a fun little add on. Found a web-comic on there that I absolutely love now. It's probably my favourite find. www.scarygoround.com if anyone is interested.

I know I'm way behind here, but just started watching 24 from series one. I likes. All of the parellel running stories are wonderful.

Art Brut are definatly a band that grow on you. I wasn't really sure about them at first. They're also a band that is far better live than on record. Argos' banter is wonderful, I rate them only behind the Hives in terms of charismatic live acts I've seen. If you fancy it, I've got some of their live stuff I can send your way.
