I needed another tag team, I would say off the top of my head all the teams I was really desperate for are long gone at this point. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the run these two had together. They got off to a bit of a shakey start but really found their groove as a team as time went on. For my next selection: The Redneck Wreckin' Crew - Cade & Murdoch.

The precedent that Lashley and the ECW title set would suggest Jericho wouldn't be taking the IC belt anywhere if he moved. But since when has WWE followed it's internal logic.
-
For my next pick I choose: The former NWA Champion, Ron 'The Truth' Killings. A charismatic guy who had no trouble no connecting with the crowd. Has some exciting and pretty innovative offence. He will be a staple of my midcard.
-
For my next pick I'm going to take one of the best British wrestlers: Johnny Saint A technical wizard and one of the bigger names in British wrestling history. Has inspired the likes of Chris Hero. When you think of the European style of wrestling the first person that should pop into your head is this man.

I really didn't expect anyone else to take Jung Dragons. They were going to be my next team to match up against AOTF. Boo-urns Broward, boo-urns.

For my next pick I choose: Do It For The Age Of The Fall. Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black. Now two time ROH tag team champions. I really enjoy these two. One of my favourite recent tag teams that hasn't been taken and I thought it was about time I got some tag teams on my roster. I do love a bit of Jimmy and Tyler Black aways seems to impress. They work well as a team and can work either as a more face or heel emo depending on how I need them.

Is it worth waiting another 8 hours for Drury if he's already 2 picks behind? I reckon that Orange Goblin should just go.
-
For the 211th pick I choose: The former Euro-Continental Champion, You'd Better Recognise it's D'Lo Brown

I realised that which was why I didn't take them as a team to begin with. Also, sorry for my absence it's been a hectic couple of days with finishing university/summer ball/21st birthday party all in rather quick order.
-
For my make up pick I choose: The only grand slam winner in NOAH history Naomichi Marufuji If I'd been able to be around in time to make my original pick I would have instead gone for Tajiri, but Franchise beat me to the punch there unfortunatly. Marufuji is still another great junior to pick up. I'm not sure yet whether I will team him with KENTA or have them face each other. We shall see how the rest of the draft pans out.

For the 177th pick of the draft I choose: The last ever original ECW Heavyweight and TV Champion. GORE! GORE GORE! It's Rhino. I loved this guys run in ECW putting everyone and their wives through tables. Good times. Will be really useful for an arena wide brawl which will break up my eventual supercard a little bit from just straight matches. Apologies for taking so long, it's a bit hectic at the moment as it's my 21st birthday party tonight, so I have been running round trying to organise that.

To keep the ball rolling, for my next pick and the 145th draft thus far: Amazing Kong With Trish as my top female face, it seemed obvious that I needed a great female heel to oppose her. Kong has proven to be a formidable talent in the ring and has been involved in some great encounters in both SHIMMER & TNA. In my mind Trish vs. Amazing Kong is just about the most enticing womens matchs I can think of, in terms of how entertaining a match it could be and the star power and aura of the two women involved (using female talent I've actually seen perform anyways.)

For the 141st pick of the draft, I select: Steve Corino. Talented on the mic and in the ring. Has been a true heat magnet in the past and one of the most enjoyable guys to watch during the closing days of ECW. A perfect upper-midcard douchebag of a heel.
-
For my 7th pick and the 110th pick of the draft, I choose: Trish Stratus. The 7 time women's champion and arguably the most over female wrestler ever. Whilst maybe not the best woker ever, certainly very enjoyable to watch. Trish will be the corner stone of my women's divison.
-
For the 105th pick of the draft, I choose: One of the most exciting junior heavyweights out there at the moment, and often immitated he is KENTA. I chose KENTA to give my roster a bit of internation diversity and someone to head up the junior division.
-
For my 5th round and 75th overall pick of the draft, I choose: Jeff Hardy. An exciting performer who is consistently over big style. Will do my promotion good to have some one stylistically different from everyone else on the roster as well. Will make a great upper-midcard face. It felt like there was some one more obvious to take, but they were just too similar for my liking to some of my other picks.

God damn, I can't believe I came so close yet Rey still slipped through my fingers. Ok, so my fourth pick will now be: The Big Show. The polar opposite of Rey Mysterio, I know. But charismatic and very talented for a giant. I thought it would make sense to take show at this point as I already have a number of heavyweights, but none of them can be as an intimidating a presence as the 7' Big Show. From previous experience I already know he can have very entertaining match ups with both The Rock and Booker. Again, Big Show is useful as he has proven he can play both face and heel and can be accepted as a threat in either role so long as he's not being turned every couple of weeks.

Make that five. I was desperate for Raven.

You're going to be waiting a while for Franchise. I believe he works nights so it might be some time before he's around again to make his pick.

WWF: Royal Rumble 2000 WWF Title: Triple H IC: Chris Jericho European:Val Venis Hardcore:Test Tag Team:New Age Outlaws Women's: Miss Kitty Light Heavyweight: Gillberg Not the most inspiring set of champions of someone new to the product. I probably loved it at the time though.

I think Jericho has stung most for me. Simply as he's my favourite wrestler it would have been nice to have him on board. I had my fingers he last through to my second pick, we went quicker than I expected.

One of my greatest wrestling shames is that I don't believe I've seen more than 5 Bret Hart matches, ever. With the advent of YouTube/DailyMotion I don't have a lot of excuses. On the plus side this thread has prompted me to track down stuff from wrestlers that have been selected that I'm not au fait with.

When it came time for me to pick today it came down to either Booker or DiBiase. Where I've only followed wrestling regularly from January 2000 I choose Booker as I didn't think it would be right for me to choose someone who I hadn't seen more than a dozen or so matches from. I know through word of mouth and what little I had seen of DiBiase how good he was. I just thought it would be better to choose someone I'm overtly familiar with rather than someone I know second hand is excellent and would be seen to be a generally better pick. I made the right decision I think. Out of interest, which pick thus far would everyone say has hurt them the most to see slip through their fingers?

For my third pick, I choose the five time, five time, five time, five time, five time WCW Champion, sucka. Booker T Booker T has proven himself over the years to be one hell of an entertainer. He has shined in both more serious and comedy roles, as well as having a very fine back catalogue of matches. He is also a useful addition to any roster as I feel he is equally adept at playing either face or heel, whatever circumstance dictates. As my number three draft I felt it was important to pick up someone very versatile, and in Booker T I believe I have that.

For my second pick and 34th pick in the All Time Wrestling Roster Draft, I choose 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. The common man Dusty Rhodes is someone the people could connect to. Whilst he didn't have the greatest physique it didn't matter as the fans loved him regardless and he went on to put on some excellent matches. With Dusty playing babyface to the Rock's heel I think we'd see a great feud. I think this would be a good match, and even better promos between these two men.
