I dunno if that was adressed to me, but anyway... It's very difficult to openly wage war upon a terrorist group. The problem is that there is no real structure to take down, no symbolic gesture that can be made like pulling down Saddams statue or tearing down the Berlin Wall. Ultimately Al-Qaeda will always exist in some form or annother, and a terrorist attack today is no less likely than pre-9/11. Also, I don't see anyone saying that the Democrats would have done it better than the Republicans.

You do realize that at least half of Americans feel the same way as he does, don't you? A recent poll reveals America's shocking attitude towards homosexuality: there's too much GAY! I'm being a bit smartass, but ever since the Supreme Court ruling against the TX sodomy laws, attitudes are perhaps swinging a bit AGAINST gay issues such as gay marriage. While I'm for gay marriage, unlike others on this board, I don't believe this statement from Bush (which is virtually NO change from what he's always said about the subject) will somehow hurt his chances of reelection. There's far too many other issues for this to be one that will make or break ANYONE in the 2004 election. As it should be. I know, but it would be better for him to have kept his mouth shut on the subject, or at least not say "I believe it is wrong". And you've gotta worry about any country where the President openly opposes gay marriage in order to get more votes.

You are a silly person. The reason that people believed the Earth was flat, aside from what they were told, is that they had no way of really disproving it. In wrestling, as with all sports, it has been shown many times that it is easier to become emotionally involved if you like one side and dislike annother. Not just with faces/heels either. Look at WMXIX. One of the reasons why so many got caught up on this board in Jericho/Michaels is that they wanted Jericho to beat Michaels.

Ultimately if there is a match with two people you like, you wont be as worried about the outcome as a match with one peson you like and one person you dont. Same as Football. A match with your team against a team you dont like will always be more important than if it were against a team you dont mind.
