QUICK!!! Give Paul and Steph wedding gifts!
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Someone ought to hack that list and put Shark Boy on there "Oh look Paul, Mick Foley got us something" "What is it, pumpkin?" "Er...." *Steph walks it with Shark Boy sitting on a tray, with a red ribbon tied around his neck* -
WWE Notes - Matches for Armageddon,
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Hmmmm, I have absolutely no problem with Big Show being in the Main Event. It seems like WWE is rewarding him for putting on good matches with Brock Lesnar and getting over as a top heel (something WWE is missing right now). If you take TBS from after his jump to Smackdown, his ring work and overness is a lot better than previously. Also, wrestling 101: 3-way dances allow a competitor to win the belt without pinning the champion. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised to see Angle pin The Big Show for Lesnars title. As for Mr. Ass, I'll believe he's winning it when I see it. But at least if he does, he might be feuding for it with Mattitude, and thats gotta be a good thing. -
Who's on roids and who isn't?

I'd say Kurt is up there with Steiner and HHH as blatant users. -
Also The Strokes for a more modern twist on the above.

Anyone heard of this peripheral?

I remember it! Wasn't it by codemaster or Action Replay or something like that? In all honesty you'd probably save a lot of time and money in just buying a cheap NES. -

For anyone who likes those type of English bands, check out The Libertine's CD. It's produced by Mick Jones of The Clash, the lyrics sound like a mix or Morriseys, Wellers and Strummers, and it's the closest thing I've heard to the old school of English rock in a long time.

By those bands or others like them?

1. Test is in his prime, Benoit isn't And thus the theory of prime is disproved forever -
If the WWE did test for drugs...
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
If Piper comes out and says he does drugs, then they have to fire him to make it look good to the authorities. It's different from wrestlers who take drugs but keep it quiet. -

Do people know who Liam Gallagher is in the States? You poor bastards! -
They're not. Does he honestly think it though, or does he feel guilty and trying to hide it? Ultimately, Vince must feel some guilt for those whose lives were shortened by the pressure he put on them, even if it wasn't his fault.

Yeah, what he said. Vera Lynn was the forces sweetheart in WWII. She basically symbolised home to troops stationed away from home. She also, in many ways, depicts the era. Pink's (and I believe Roger Water's) dad died in WWII. So it ties in with "Bring The Boys Back Home" for the depleted troops returning from the war.

Which WWE wrestler would make the biggest impact..

I'd laugh if Hogan turned up on NWA:TNA saying he got sacked by WWE, forcing Vince to break kayfabe. -

RIAA to Start Monitoring Downloads
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in Technology
Basically this is an American action on American people. If you live outside the states, you should be ok. HOWEVER, if these lawsuits have a positive effect upon the downloading of music, similar action may take place around the world. Also, I have no idea whether the RIAA have jurisdiction over Canada or not. If someone else knows, feel free to post it -
Hmmmm, a thread split between Banky memorial and dissection of Chaucers work. Who said this folder is crap nowadays!

RIAA to sue individual file-sharers
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in Current Events
Theres a pretty good article on this in the news section of www.bbc.co.uk. What I get from that is that they're logging on to the net, seing who's sharing music files and taking a list of their names. It seems kinda pointless when there are far more effective means of finding out who's pirating, but hey, it's the feds. The fact that they announced it first suggests it's a scare tactic to stop people from downloading rather than a way of getting their money back. Apparantly it's working too: after they announced it, the number of users on Kazaa fell by 16% Also, it's worth noting that this action is being taken by the American RIAA. In theory, anyone outside the states can't be persecuted. -
210. There are noe more reason that Steiner > Goldberg than there are Bossman > Goldberg, thus giving the equation Steiner . Bossman > Goldberg. Who'da thunk it, eh?

Well, banky's name and all his aliases have been unregistered. Damn, I was starting to like the guy.
