100 Reasons Why the Big Bossman...
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in TSM Classic Threads
40. He's way cheaper than Goldberg. You could buy pizza for everyone who orders Backlash with the money saved! -
WWE is definately on the decline over here. A few years back, tours and wrestlers were getting tabloid inches, now nothing. Plus no Regal, pride of blackpool

no rey rey + no benoit + no guerrerros + no rhyno + = PPV OF THE DECADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

New Mystery: Who Booked Angle/Lesnar?
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
The thing some people seem to have missed out on is that Angle needed to look strong in that match because he looked week in the feud. If Brock had been dominant, it would have just seemed like Angle had no chance of going over Lesnar. As it is, the re-match is still open. -
Jackie Gayda to return to the WWE...
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Hmmm, only in WWE do they give a wrestler a manager to help get HER over. -
For my money, Jericho is the second biggest full time heel on raw. And there isn't really a main-event quality (in terms of overness) face to feud with him now apart from HBK and Nash. Look at it this way. The 4 biggest full-time names on Raw are: HHH Nash HBK Goldberg Like Brian says, I'd be pissed if I was Jericho. Oh well, back to the tag ranks he goes......

When will the HHH-Steph regime be toppled?
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
the problem is that when Nash beats HHH for the title, who's he got to face? The only top-line heels on Raw are HHH and Jericho. -
The reason that WWE lacks interesting angles...

Ssssshhhh. Logic bad. Steph good. That's all you need to know. -
Fair play mate, but they have been a costly mistake, and are indicative of the problems in the WWE. If Vince had spent that money well (on wrestlers who could work, pushing new faces, getting the WWE name around, some decent writers, paying the mafia to kidnap Hunter) then the product would be in a better state and far more enjoyable to watch. If I was a businessman, and spent close to $10 million on employees, when I had the pick of the best workers in the world, I'd expect them to cause a rise in my profits. This isn't a rant per se, it's just pointing out that spending that much money the way WWE has is a waste.

IMO giving someone $1.5 million to be a pro-wrestler just cause they're a good amateur is dumb business. Say this guy can't sell, or has no ring psychology, or can't work a crowd, or comes in thinking he's above the rest of the locker room? I still think the way forward is bringing in the top indy workers like American Dragon, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels etc. Vince signing blindly is the whole reason Steiner, Nash, Hall etc. have ruined the product.

If Kurt wrestled in 2000 and lost, he wouldn't have had the same marketability. With Gardner coming in after 2004, he'll have to train up, probably coming in around 2006. Hopefully WWE will be back on the up round then. Also, $1.5 million is a lot for an untested wrestler in these lean times. How much did they pay Kurt?

Poor Lance and his little bland vanilla-midget family. PS: We Hate Amy signs rock!

Jim Ross "quits" on-air role....
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Just because Austin is good at promos, doesn't mean he would be good at commentary See: Anderson, Arn Name me one person who wouldn't mark out at a combo of Heyman and Austin. Ideally they should get Joey Styles in -
You ever go through your wrestling tapes
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I found an old tape of Royal Rumble '94 (I think). The good old days when Rikishi was a headshrinker, Raven was a bratty little manager, Undertaker had his urn and Sean Waltman and Lex Luger were popular. Hmmm, now i think about it, WWE aint so bad. -
Jim Ross "quits" on-air role....

JR's an institution. And, as Vince should be finding out now, the past DOES NOT = ratings. For my money, put Stone Cold as PBP with Heyman as Colour. It'd be borderline chaos, but great at the same time. -
Goldberg And Chris Jericho Get Into A Backstage

Jericho = new kliq member -
::marks for Monty Python reference:: I'd totally mark out if one of them said "I'm French! Can't you tell by my outrageous accent!" Silly accents is the futur eof pro wrestling. Just ask Eddie Guerrerro.

I thought i might as well post this here now so people can start to bitch about it At the moment, the card for Backlash contains: Cena v Lesnar Rock v Goldberg HHH, Flair and Y2J v Diesel, Michaels and Booker T It's also likely the following feuds will have matches: Benoit and Rhyno v A-Train and Big Show FBI v Taker and Jones Sable v Torrie Victoria v Trish Vince and Piper v Hogan PLUS: WWE tag match World tag match Cruiser match Now it just be me, but this card doesn't fill be with excitement. The only good match likely to be on the card is a forgone conclusion (Lesnar/Cena) and there are TWO tag matches at or around the ME spot containing non/semi workers. Discuss PS THis post was edited due to my gullibility

Backlash Card
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in The WWE Folder
Hmmm, i still think that there'll be something based around Hogan/ Vince/ Piper. Hopefully Shane will come back in some-time. I'll edit my first post now. On an unrelated note, why would someone fake a Piper press release? I mean, I think I'm sad but jeez.... -
Backlash Card
rising up out of the back seat-nuh replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in The WWE Folder
None of it's confirmed (Nash hasn't even returned yet) but it's the way the dice are falling. And Piper said it was Hogan/Hart v Piper/Vince which sounds about right. -
DAMN, it would've been so much cooler if they'd have brought in American Dragon instead of Spanky. I was starting to wonder why Kendrick was getting more of a push than most title candidates. Thats a good explaination.
