Is there a good on-line place for getting a custom sports jersey made? Of a made-up team? With a made-up logo? It's for a rock band and... It's a long story. Any suggestions?

That second show isn't particularly good even from a nostalgia viewpoint (which I will use to defend a lot of shows). Not that you can really knock a show too hard that has Hart-Dibiase! The first show isn't much either but it has the Dibiase-Warrior match that set up the Warrior-Savage feud! Almost worth it just for that!

Wrestlemania 7 should not even be on this list.

Yeah. It wasn't obvious until it was obvious if you get my meaning. I was fairly young at the time and had been only watching wrestling since 1985 so I wasn't thinking too far advance about what the WM main event would be. That changed the next year but who could have guessed that whole tournament thing before February of 1988?

I'm not getting into this argument too much but... They gave out a lot of comps for Royal Rumble 97 BUT nobody can knock the crowd Shawn drew for that particular show. It was a downtime for the WWF and he drew a HUGE crowd. Or, to quote Dave Meltzer: "By the way, even with discounting tickets and all, and it wasn't the success at the gate they had hoped for, selling more than 48,000 tickets in San Antonio, Texas is nothing to sneeze at. Who else in history has ever come close to that? To use that as an example that Michaels isn't a good draw because they didn't sellout a 70,000 seat building is mind boggling."

Least Deserving Wrestlemania Main Eventer?
Betty Houle replied to SamoaRowe's topic in General Wrestling
LT deserved to be there for all the attention it got the WWF. Same with Mr.T. -
This sounds fairly suspect.

Let's not go crazy here...

Seriously, that was a great feud! The angle to set it up was good, the Royal Rumble stuff was all great, the cage match that had was damn good, and the Wrestlemania match was damn good with an awesome epilogue. Savage and Rude were the only guys to get good matches out of the Warrior.

I remember that and it was amusing in a good way.

Savage was on vacation at the time of Survivor Series 90. He was just coming back at this point to start his feud with the Ultimate Warrior. He did that run-in in the Dibiase-Warrior match on SNME. Rumor was at the time: They had Savage come in to do SS 90 in case Demolition member Ax no-showed as he was on the way out of the company at the time (that Survivor Series match (Perfect & Demolition vs. Ultimate Warrior, LOD, and Kerry Von Erich*) was his last I believe). Ax showed; Savage did the promo. The Warrior-Savage feud was AWESOME, btw...not to get to off the subject! *known as the Warriors. Ultimate, Road Warriors, and "Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich. Pretty neat, huh?

Probably not though. He also lost to Harley Race on a house show or two but I'm guessing thoese weren't clean either.

I think I saw Perfect's last appearence before he left that time. I went to a TV taping shortly after WMX and Perfect was the guest on HBK's ill-fated "Heartbreak Hotel" show.
-
True. Same with the Maple Leaf building.

Any websites that sell these? I'm looking to spend more of my husband's hard-earned-money on something (in between eating bon-bons and painting my toe nails) and my tape collection is not enough! I need NWA/WCW on DVD! Anyone know anyone that sells anything like that? Or NWA/WCW Comps on DVD?

Couldn't of said it much better. (2) and (4) in particular are reasons he was such a good worker.

I stopped listening after this.

I'm always looking for a place to get wrestling DVDs from!
-
Too bad. I do like goldenboy and highspots. I've ordered from both those places and had great success!
-
Anyone ordered DVDs from wrestlingemporium.com??
-
Gotta go with the Cornette one for pure hilarity.

Chairman Iron Man followed by the Vision Captain America the Scarlet Witch The Beast (allright!) the Wasp and lastly, the Falcon (the what?!) with appearences from Hawkeye, Wonderman, Ms.Marvel, and Quicksilver.
