the greatest american rocknroll band of all-time?
Betty Houle replied to Betty Houle's topic in Music
I considered GNR, Nirvana, CCR, and the Doors but they all came and when relatively quickly (compared to bands with 20+ year carreers). All HUGELY influential though. -
Both! I was referring to the SS match (which seemed so much better at the time) but the RR match is no great shakes either. Then again, I'm not a fan of the Rock-HHH ladder match so what do I know...

I think people are being hasty mentioning Batista. Sure, he has no heat and hasn't shown us much yet but he's still a young guy and he turn into something great down the road. Definitely dump Kevin Nash though!

Looking back, the Bret-Diesel match isn't really worthy of being on such a tape. Just my opinion; it doesn't hold up that well in my eyes.

The season of ROSEANNE when Darlene left for school and they introduced the new Becky and Mark became a permanent part of the show was a pivotal part of the show. The focus of the show changed at this point. There was still funny episodes though. The real harbringer of the upcoming collapse of the show was the Halloween episode that had Roseanne delivering her baby and meeting Jerry Garcia in the process. Still some funny stuff after that though. Anf then they won the lottery...

That's why you put together a presentation, and dress professionally. Also never say, "No, I was actually going [Lower speed that still violates the speed limit]." Again there is still the chance the cop might not remember you, they see alot of people on the road, and they write alot of tickets. Also, the same cops are on the same roads every night. Well, I forgot to re-register my car which isn't as debatable as a speeding ticket or something. I'm just taking it to court because (a) it delays me having to pay the fine, (b) the cop might not show up, and © he's a small town cop that will have to drive out of his way to go to court so at least I'll get to inconvenience him.

I thought DEAD ALIVE was quite funny at one point in my life. I don't think it holds up to repeated viewings. Although it's still funnier than BAD TASTE.

You're able to star in ONE movie. Just one. But suddenly you have acting ability and so forth... What genre of movie is it? Horror movie Who directs it? Dario Argento Who plays your best friend? Lili Taylor Who plays your love interest? Colin Farrell What movie do you wish you could enter, and live in that world? Why? The Last Seduction just so I could feel what it’s like to be Bridgette. ___________________________________________________________ What book are you SHOCKED hasn't been made into a movie yet? How would you do it? Director? Actors? I don’t know about SHOCKED but it was too bad there wasn’t a movie made out of Son of Rosemary in 1999. Unfortunately there were way too many pre-millenium movies out already. Get Roman Polanski to direct naturally. Best single comic book issue ever. Sin City: That Yellow Bastard (last issue). Runner-up—whatever issue of Daredevil it was that DD visited Bullseye in the hospital. Best scene in a movie ever. Final scene of Chinatown. Worst actor in a great movie ever. Charlie Sheen in Being John Malkovich. You're about to be executed (I know, I know, I'm surprised too). What's your last meal? My mother’s eggplant parmesan and everything she makes with it. Describe your ideal mate. Denzel Washington in his twenties. As long as he’s really patient, open-minded, and tolerant Describe your best movie going experience ever. Seeing SW: The Empire Strikes Back in the theater. You can only have that kind of experience at that age. Seeing Pretty in Pink on my first sort-of-date was pretty memorable, too (but not really for the movie). Describe your worst movie going experience ever. 2 words for you: CITY HALL Biggest lie you ever told, and to who? Too many to choose from. Probably something from my misspent late teens! Earliest childhood memory? Being in front of the fireplace in the first house I lived in in CT. Happiest you've ever been. The last 4 months of 2002. Most scared you've ever been. In my car accident from 4 years ago. Any recurring dreams/nightmares? You could go back to ANY time period in your life...which one? Go on, you knuckleheads, pick! I’d go back to my teens and do everything over again but right this time! And, to end on a optimistic note (hopefully)... Where will you be in ten years? Living somewhere warm. Continuing my current business (but making more money from it). Married. With 2 kids.

"3. In Court: -Remember always fight the ticket -If cop dosent show up, ask for a dismissal -If cop shows up, you have a 40/60 chance of winning -Dress profesionally -Never admit wrong doings -Put together a presentation" What if you're fighting the ticket, the cop does show up, and you're very much in the wrong?
