don't think it's orca, this is Orca's plot according to IMDB A killer whale's pregnant mate is maimed & killed by Captain Nolan (Richard Harris) during a capture attempt. The angry male orca, after grieving the loss of its mate & offspring, seeks revenge against Captain Nolan. He causes serious damage to a fishing town where Nolan is hiding out, and lures Nolan, Rachel Bedford (a biologist) and a Native American to an ice field for a final confrontation...on HIS terms.

Well unless it was an overall solid lineup I didn't include it. Simpsons were often surrounded by "this spot is reserved for midseason replacement" shows. That's another fun little list waiting to be made: "All the short-lived shows that followed the Simpsons time slot" One of the first ones I remember was called "Babes", about a bunch of fat women living together. In fact, I remember commercials that had the women chasing Bart around. Not just "not great", it was downright horrible not just the slot after The Simpsons, but the one after MWC changed pretty much season to season also, heh
