Maybe her parents pay for it...or a scholarship. As for why she didn't leave at home...you do remember her mother don't ya? I can see why she wouldn't wanna stay home...but even still, I'm sure she was at Buffy's to take care of Dawn and be with Tara as I'm sure living in your mother's house with your lesbian lover would be a bit awkward, heh.

His song in OMWF explained it pretty well, his being there was keeping her from doing what needed to be done. Anytime someting difficult came up she looked to him to solve it. He needed to leave to force her to stand on her own two feet. Well Giles did give her a nice fat check...they never showed how much it was for, but I'm assuming it was enough to pay off all the bills that had piled up and probably with a little more on the side...I'm sure Giles had a nice fat bank account between his half of the money made from the magic shop and his watchers salary as he was reinstated in season 4.

Ghostbusters - 9/10

Buffy dying in Season 1 brings Kendra Kendra dying in season 2 brings Faith Faith = current Slayer = not dead Of course, all that is pretty much thrown out the window with that "everyone's a Slayer" shit from Chosen. God I hate Season 7. But Buffy is still a slayer. They never, ever said it had to be the current slayer. Seeing as how all past slayers have tended to...stay dead when killed they probably didn't feel the need to get so specific about it...I always figured that each slayer only passes the torch the one time when they die, which would be why a new one wasn't called when Buffy died in The Gift.

Kiefer Sutherland, he has a great range and can play so many different roles and do them well. He's gotten more recognition with 24, hopefully when he decides to step away from the show he'll get more movie roles, I think he could get an Oscar nod with the right part.

Another thing about season 7 is that they kept talking about if Buffy dies the next slayer is chosen, no one seemed to bring up the fact that Buffy already passed the torch and Faith is the one that has to die for the next one to be called.
