The only reason I can think of is that it's cheaper to plan it out when you are going from arena to arena. For example. Wrestlers goes from their home to a House Show on Monday to Smackdown on Tuesday, then back home Tuesday night. 3 Trips. If it was Thursday... they might go from their home, to the Monday house show, back home, then to Smackdown, then back home. That's 4 trips.

To those of you who hating on Taker taking out 7 guy... that was fucking awesome! If the guy is getting the boot off TV, and the guy that does it is going to be the #1 contender, then that is a great way to end his character and make the #1 Contender look incredibly . If they go with Undertaker/Batista, either on a Smackdown or on Summer Slam, you have a guy that just took out SEVEN guys and ended Hassan's career going up against the guy who beat Triple H THREE times in a row. And with the way the beating was done, it made sense with the way Taker took out the guys one by one. It's not like the 5 masked men lined up and took turns getting choke slams. Taker rolled out of the ring, reveresed a move and the momentum shifted in his favor as the remaining 4 masked men had to go around the ring to get to Taker. I enjoyed that beatdown, but I seem to be in the minority

WWE should have requested the segment been cut from airing. They could have aired the RAW main event or something in its place... I don't know. But UPN is an idiot for thinking running 4 scrolls across the screen will make it alright too. Edit: Time to trade Hassan in my fantasy pool

For WM7, do they eliminate every trace of the WWF in the commentary? I wish DirecTV had VOD. I heard they were working on it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Supposedly..the new Directv in house DVRs (not the ones with Tivo) will be able to do VOD, and they are supposed to be coming out soon. Directv obviously has a solid relationship now with the WWE (They are offering a 3 PPV deal (GAB,SS,Unforgiven) for $88.95, and will be showing Summerslam Recall for free next weekend on channel 121) so I would assume as soon as Directv has the capability to offer it, they will. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dish Network can do VOD, but at the rate they are rolling out VOD Movies it is going very slow. I've had the VOD receiver in my room for about a month and a half, and I only have about 12 movies to pick from and they all cost money. I heard that they are going to be doing an massive overhaul of VOD programming soon though, as this is very new technology for them. They did partition 100 hours worth of hard drive space off my DVR for VOD content, so they better use the damn space soon!

I'd put the Cactus Jack/Chainsaw Charlie Dumpster incident up there... only had me fooled because it too up damn near an hour! I thought the would have to be crazy to waste an hour of TV time.
