I don't understand why someone who starts babbling about a personal pan pizza, tied to a reading program, contributing to obesity...doesn't immediately get punched in the face. I mean, why is this country full of so many people trying to save us from every little possible evil in the world? Get a fucking life already.

Yeah, because John Edwards screams flaming homosexual. Can't wait to hear her backtrack on her next Fox News appearance.
-
So I guess WWE Films department has seen "Battle Royale"

That annoys me about a lot of movies these days. -
That is stupid. One pizza a month isn't going to make anyone fatter than they already are.
-
Maybe already mentioned, but the TNA website says Hector Guerrero will be working for TNA as part of their Spanish announce team. Bring on someone wearing the Lazertron outfit in the X Division!

Joe's not gonna win the title anytime soon. The smart thing to do is keep the title on Christian Cage for quite a while, to make it more meaningful when Joe or whoever else finally overcomes Christian and his gang, and finally beats him.
-
That would be amusing. Either that or the "We have a movie to promote" reason.

Ok, why don't I remember this group from WCW: http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/pictu...stfamily/01.jpg

Well, don't look for a Bart Gunn return anytime soon.
-
That would be good for people like my wife, who's only been watching since 2002 or so...she just doesn't get Lawler, since he just seems to be this lecherous annoying TV announcer guy who once in a while gets in the ring for whatever reason.

Eh, from what I understand, WWE TV shows do pretty good ratings overseas...simple business practices would say that if people are watching your programs and going to the shows you do run, it makes sense to give them more of what they want.
-
I don't know. I thought the Two Man Power Trip was an interesting concept. They had Jericho and Benoit as foils. Too bad Triple H tore his quad in that RAW tag match.
-
It's not like WWE isn't already popular overseas. I mean, they do sell huge numbers of tickets when they go to Japan and Mexico, etc.
-
I agree. That's one thing I'm worried about...it's all going to turn into a game of "top this" type of thing as far as "qualifications" that have nothing to do with actually being president.

The alledged Randy Savage ban from WWE.
Dobbs 3K replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
Jim Ross basically shot down the rumors that Savage is banned from WWE in his latest report, called the Steph/Savage story BS, and hinted that he could be inducted before WM 25. -
Like I said in the other thread, WWE is on it's way to becoming a new NWA anyway, with already having three "brands." May as well take the next step. From the article, it sounds like they know this is going to take a lot of research and planning. They aren't just going to send a bunch of guys to Japan next month to start doing shows in local gyms or something.

I thought the Brewers might have a couple more on the list, but it's nice to see they have two in the top 25 or so. Gallardo and Braun will likely see MLB playing time this year. (Braun had a huge spring training game yesterday, so that's a positive sign for their 3B situation).
-
It's been plainly obvious, and repeated over and over, that the new ECW is not the old ECW. There's no point in having a PPV from the same place year after year.
-
Obsessing over connectors is silly. Just get the TV if you like it.

The alledged Randy Savage ban from WWE.

No I'm not, though the two did have similar roles. -
Wow, that definitely sounds interesting. Don't know how realistic it is...but it kind of makes sense. WWE is on the verge of turning themselves into a new version of the NWA.

Bulldogs: I think they should be in, but let's not rehash this debate right now. Brainbusters: Definitely...probably as part of the Four Horsemen, though. Four Horsemen: Flair will probably (and should) get his own induction. Maybe they could induct the Andersons and Tully at the same time as well. Road Warriors: Probably a lock, since there's already been a Road Warriors DVD and what not. Hart Foundation: Bret's already in...I could see them inducting Anvil, since his daughter works for the company now. Rock & Roll Express: Great team, dunno if WWE has much interest in them, though. They don't tend to get mentioned much on WWE programming, etc. Wild Samoans: Wouldn't be surprising if they go in this year. Steiner Brothers: Nope, not happening anytime soon. Hollywood Blondes: OK, this one I have a problem with. The Blondes were an awesome team, but they were really only around for less than two years. Austin will certainly get his own induction, and Pillman will probably get the same. The Blondes were probably in the top five tag teams of the '90s, but not really worthy of an induction as a tag team alone. Freebirds: Most definite. Hayes works for the company, as does Terry Gordy's son, and they've got that WCCW DVD coming out this year. The Rockers: Eh...Michaels will get his own induction someday, and Jannetty is probably on bad terms after his last run(s) with WWE. Midnight Express: Won't happen as long as Cornette is working for TNA. Demolition: They should be in. Anyone know if that lawsuit was ever resolved? Seems like Darsow is on good terms with WWE, plus I think there are Demolition action figures coming out.

Next week, Jeff Jarrett vs Lance Hoyt in a 20 minute marathon match!
-
Exactly. Pete Rose getting in is like a borderline joke.

The alledged Randy Savage ban from WWE.

That'll never happen, since the show seems to be almost completely scripted.
