The problem with Dupree is that he's so bland. He's just another "young, cocky, & arrogant guy" who's just OK in the ring and forgettable on the mic. WWE already has plenty of those.

What's with the constant title defenses on ECW? It seems like every week the champion (Lashley, and Show before him) is defending the title. It would make sense if it was the ECW TV Title, but the ECW World Title should have more prestige than that.

Oh, just to throw it in because it hasn't been mentioned yet, I find Don't Tell a Soul to be a really enjoyable album as well.

I guess for me, it's the niche rock channels (alternative and such), and the MLB talk that I enjoy. Around here, you're hard pressed to find non-Packer sports talk on the radio, sometimes even during the regular baseball season. A lot of the baseball talk you hear is misinformed or downright awful. As a Brewers fan, I've already heard several interviews with Bill Hall, Doug Melvin, Jeff Suppan, and Ned Yost in less than two months on XM. To me, that justifies the less than 10 bucks a month you pay if you commit for a year (at least that's the deal I got).

That would actually be pretty interesting. Maybe have Roode attack Jerry Lynn as well, to put over that he's the real pioneer of the X Division, just to rub it in further. Roode should use a really boring finisher, like a sleeper hold or something as well.

Trump is the face in this feud, so he has to pick a big time babyface. Maybe Lashley?

The six sided ring is good, it makes TNA different. They're obviously not going back at this point, so it's really not worth discussing. The problem TNA has is the same any other wrestling group has had regularly taping a TV show from the same location...either the crowd is full of people who don't care, or the people become too "smarkish" and try to make it into their show.

Albert looks pretty imposing, I think. Not crazy about the "all over tribal tatoos" thing that seems so popular with pro-wrestlers these days, but he looks pretty bad ass.

"Tim" and "Pleased to Meet Me" are tied in my book. I would say Let It Be is a distant third...it's got some good rocking songs, but it's just a little too unpolished for my tastes. Kind of feels like they're getting their goofiness out of their systems before moving on to more mature material, IMO.

I like my new XM receiver. The music channels are good and I enjoy the MLB talk channel. Sound quality could be better, but hopefully this proposed merger would give them more bandwidth to play with, solving that problem. The big fear in the satellite radio community is that this could lead to the playlists on the music stations becoming more homogenized, and that there will be commercials/more commercials. Basically people are worried that the overall quality of the service will go down and rates will go up. Theoretically, the merger would leave the new company with no competition, but I don't really buy that, since their real competition is terrestrial radio, new HD radio formats, MP3 players, etc.

Vista isn't that bad. Why not get the computer, and try it for a while. If it's really that bad, then maybe attempt it. I can't imagine it being too easy though...Microsoft probably doesn't want you replacing their new toy with something older...

I actually thought the scene with Pullo and Cicero was pretty well done. Anyone else find it weird that Vorenus didn't wonder where his "son" found the paper for that toy hat, in the middle of the woods?

Only caught the end of RAW, but I thought Cena/Orton was a pretty good match, up until the finish. Personally I've been liking Orton's ringwork lately. His style is fairly "old school" Southern heelish.

This reminds me of the great idea I heard for a tag team in WCW, during their last years: Mike Awesome and Michael Modest. Hilarity would have ensued, I tells ya.
