On that same note, I've heard of Demolition doing that same gimmick towards the end of their run in WWF. Anyone have pics of that?

It would at least be something different than the tired army hat and shirt he's been wearing for the last six months. Seriously, does the guy have anything else in his wardrobe? I mean, even Steve Austin would put on a shirt with a different catch phrase, or a different vest once in a while.

You mean, you weren't already aware that Invader is essentially a closet Neo-Nazi "nationalist"? Come on now. To clarify, I am not anti-gay. As a Christian, I don't believe it is a moral choice, however. I don't have anything against gay people. One of the great things about America is that you can basically live your life how you want. However, I do think marriage is logically between a man and a woman. If they want civil unions or whatever, fine. I'm pro-life, actually for regulation for business. As far as health care...I don't see where this opinion has come from that everyone is entitled to health care coverage from the government, but whatever. I am a nationalist.

Gosh, can't they just kill off the Eugene character already? I hate him, and he has no heat. He's been like a castrated donkey ever since Triple H buried him.

I'm surprised no one has suggested a katana or something yet.

The picture on the front more than makes up for the stupid made up word. Agreed there. The barbed wire is a nice touch. Though, a generic body on the table would have made it a little better. I was just thinking that. It looks like he's attacking a defenseless table there. Nah he's just botching a spot, it's part of his offense. Kind of like how the kip up is part of Shawn Michaels' offense.

Michael was a bit over the top, but overall this was another hilarious episode. Kind of weird they haven't mentioned Michael's own relationship for the past couple episodes.

I'm curious who is defined as "American" in that ethnicity map.
-
Funny how the evil socialist FDR managed to win the war he was in, though.
-
Ugh, I'm having flashbacks to Russo screaming at Hogan, calling him "Terry Bollea" in WCW's dying days.
-
Good point. I...just yesterday...was wondering why there has never been one of those "Power Team" gimmicks in a major fed. I mean, they've done pretty much everything else, a big guy crushing boards and cement blocks through the POWER OF THE LORD wouldn't be that much of a reach. I don't think it would get over...I didn't even realize what you meant by "Power Team" at first.

What about "shock & awe", though? Seriously, just bring our troops home. Iraq has democracy, Saddam Hussein is dead. It's up to the Iraqis to decide whether they want to join the civilized world or continue to kill each other.
-
Here's a novel idea: Don't employ a known drunk.
-
Geez...either pull our troops out, or allow them to take the kid gloves off and start steamrolling over Iraq. It's not worth it anymore.
-
Yep, that's who I was thinking of. Matt Striker is like Mike Sanders.
-
I don't understand why this story is getting so much press.
-
Eh...I think TNA has had enough "dark" stables. Heck, they have Seratonin right now. Just a straightforward wrestling heel group would be fine, please.
-
I don't understand who'd really want to wrestle for WWE anymore. The low pay for anyone not in the main event coupled with all the political crap, really doesn't make it seem worth it.
-
Matt Striker is going to be like that one guy towards the end of WCW...dammit, I can't even remember his name, but he started as a wrestler and became more of a commisioner/announcer...he was like Kevin Nash's lackey or something.
-
I like it. Parts of it are a little over the top (like where they get high and start dancing around and junk), but overall I think the acting is pretty good, given the actors' ages.
-
You're suggesting she get a gun illegally, or is it possible to buy a gun without a permit?
-
Christian really should be TNA's version of Ric Flair, so this sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I question having two "muscles" like Tomko and Steiner in the same group, but they're unique enough where it shouldn't matter, I guess.
-
Brown calling RVD "past his time" or whatever, is a bit of a stretch, but at least this Old vs New storyline is a solid direction to take the company, and they were smart enough to make the "Originals" the faces in this feud. Just as long as we don't get Vince McMahon all over ECW every single week, this could be decent television.

He looks like a poor man's Kane, for sure.
