I don't see how anyone could look at that and think it was a bomb. It looks like just some random poster or something you'd see in any large city. CNN and the other networks shouldn't have gone berzerk with the story, either. They should be the ones blamed for causing a panic. If the people who put them up had a permit, I don't see how they can possibly be charged.

I didn't really like the Wolfpac, but their theme song was catchy. "Don't turn your back on the Wolfpac, you might wind up in a body bag."

I think Matt Hardy could be WWE Champion...but he'd need to get a major rebuild up. I suppose the Hardyz reunion could be called the start of that, since he can be seen as a legit threat in the ring again. He has a good look, and is decent on the mic. The problem is that he was made such a bitch when he came back to feud with Edge. If they had kept him as the "renegade outlaw who isn't under contract, out for revenge", it would've been a lot better than having him come out with Vince McMahon and "rejoin WWE".

I think it would've been fun if they had kept one or two as surprise entries, even if it was someone like Jerry Lawler or the Brawler coming out, just to add to the fun of the Rumble.

I still play my Dreamcast occasionally. Really underrated system. Controllers were pretty clunky, though. Plus, I have a copy of Fire Pro D...still the best wrestling game ever, IMO.

In Full House, when the kids and Danny Tanner die in the car crash. Oh wait, that never happened. Oh well.

Made me think of "THURSDAY RAW! THURSDAY LIVE!"

I would go with Van Roth, because I still like the first two Van Halen albums, where as I don't think a lot of the Van Hagar stuff holds up quite as well. Though "Poundcake" kicks ass through a stereo with a good sub hooked up.

I never understood why Williams became a glorified jobber after NWA/WCW bought UWF. Was it just to show that the NWA guys were superior to the UWF Heavyweight Champion, or what? I actually did find Borga's win over Tatanka surprising. The one finger pin was a nice touch.

Plus I got a thing for Rachel Ray. Pic gave me a chuby. Rachel Ray's cute until she starts talking. I would have liked to be in the presence of Ms. Ray when she started calling Angelina Jolie a "skanky backdoor cunt" and said Oprah has "problems being black". I can't stand when girls my age talk shit like that but if it's a woman in her late 30's I can get down with that. When the hell did that happen?

I guess he decided to eliminate himself with something besides plagiarism this time. Or, maybe Invader could be his running mate. Oh...HAHAHAHAHA. Btw, who's this Jesse Jackson fella I seem to remember? Maybe he was Asian or something.

The heel using the ropes or tights to win is getting really overdone by WWE at this point. It would be OK if one heel was doing it consistently (like Kenny Dykstra, for example), but when every heel is doing it, it shows that the bookers aren't creative enough to come up with something new. Doesn't anyone have a roll of masking tape in the back to make some "brass knux" or something? I don't see where this "Vince hates the Originals" is going. They kind of built Elijah up with the segment, but then he got his ass kicked by the four guys Vince had just buried on the mic. I don't get it. Didn't mind RVD jobbing...but to Bob Holly? Does anyone really think people are going to buy Holly in the main event against Lashley?

I don't watch Fox, or much other cable news at this point. To give a more relevant example, there is a group out of Madison called Progressive Dane. They're pretty much a pro-gay, pro-choice, pro-government imposing on business, pro-universale health care organization. That is what "Progressive" is in 2007. Since I don't agree with any of those stances, I am anti-progressive.

Yeah, but I mean he was annoying to the point that I'd sometimes change the channel, even as a 10 year old mark.
-
I hope they show a video similar to the "streak" video they showed last year, where it showed Undertaker beating all those guys at WM.

Funny how the more "extreme" promotion is on MTV of all places, along with crap like all those dating shows.

Yeah, I forgot how expensive some of those 16 bit cartridges were. I remember buying WWF RAW for SNES right when it came out, and paying about $80 for it at K-Mart. I was in heaven when new PS1 games were coming out for around $30, brand spanking new.
-
Eh, to me "progressive" is a dirty term now. It implies San Francisco values and politics. I'm sure many disagree with me, but that's how I feel. It's a shame, because Bob LaFollette was a good guy.

Well, we have to accept that the new ECW is nothing like the original ECW. That said, I don't know why WWE bothers calling them "ECW Extremists" when they generally don't do anything remotely extreme. Just call them "ECW Superstars" and be done with it.

I think they were going for the irony of someone named "Love" managing a zombie monster, but I could be wrong. BTW, what the hell was the deal with Brother Love anyway? I never found him funny, or entertaining, and as a kid I just didn't get the character. I just found him annoying, really.

I enjoyed the Freebird style DDT at the end of that tag match. Bracing for something really stupid with this "McMahon Fan Appreciation" thing, though.

I enjoyed the show last night. I thought the opening tag match match was very, very good. That's how tag team wrestling should be. Hell, I can't remember the last time we've seen the "ref didn't see the faces make the tag" spot, honestly. Cena/Umaga was a really good brawl, IMO. Blood, violence, the ring getting torn apart...nice match. The other two title matches were pretty forgettable. Crowd was clearly not into Lashley. Slow match with a pointless finish. I did chuckle out of Test getting counted out on purpose, though. Seemed like the crowd wanted Kennedy to beat Batista. The Rumble match itself was solid. Probably somewhere in the middle in terms of quality for Royal Rumbles overall. It seemed like the start was kind of slow. Clearly this match showed how far the stock of the ECW guys have fallen. Dreamer, Sabu, and Sandman were all thrown out relatively quickly, Sabu going through his own gimmick. The crowd seemed into Sandman, so I don't see why he had to go so fast. Also, towards the end it seemed like some big names went pretty quick. I blinked and missed RVD and Benoit getting thrown out. The ending with HBK and Undertaker was obviously good. Couldn't shake the feeling that a younger guy should've been in one of those spots, though.

I'm ordering the show. Please don't make me feel like I'm wasting my $39.95, WWE.

33) Coming out with an awesome system like the Dreamcast, and then letting it get raped by the PS2.

Yes. Everyone that goes to college is an idiot. In some ways, yes. Hell, I was much more liberal before getting out in the real world.
