Well, I was only exposed to WWF when I was really young, so I'd say Earthquake was pretty darn scary to me. He seemed like he'd legitimately kill someone in the ring, and then probably laugh about it later. Oh, and one other...I think I only saw him in one televised match, but Killer Kahn also frightened me. I saw him squash some poor jobber, and use the mist on him. I swear this jobber was bleeding to, but my memory is probably foggy (since I doubt much blading happened on late '80s WWF TV). Anyway, he just abused this guy in the ring, and it definitely made an impression on me.

Brutus Beefcake was my first "favorite wrestler" for whatever reason. I thought his ripped pants were cool and marked when he'd cut people's hair.

I only caught a little of last night's show, but I kind of got an ECW Arena vibe from their set, which is definitely a good thing.

Well, I did bring up that point about the two friends that were on the show last week (the bug eyed guy and the fat guy), and I think that's rather indicative of that. She is exagerrating it a bit, though. I can't believe I'm even remotely agreeing with Rosie O'Donnell on anything.

I don't think anyone could remotely consider that military action as "nation building." Also, the US action in Yugoslavia was part of a joint NATO operation, where Iraq hasn't been.

You're lucky that they watched it at all. What else would it be viewed for? Meaningful, realistic, political discussion or great oratory skills?
