Ian was east coast flameboy trash.

What did Obama say/do about the Fox thing? Glad to see Kerry came to his senses and decided not to run in '08.
-
Well, yeah, I think that's it. There's a time and a place for being funny and cutting up, but when you're the new guy in a place that's known for being hard on newcomers, you shut up and wait 'til you've earned the chance to joke around.

The whole "passing the torch" thing is way overblown. It's something Hogan and Vince made up after the fact to build that one bodyslam into some epic moment for all time to feed their egos.

Cambodian woman found after missing for 18 years
Dobbs 3K replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Current Events
Because it's unnatural and weird, and slightly cruel if you think about it. -
Sorry, double post...my internet connection must be dumb today.

Oh yeah, I'm sure Hogan would go for that... Not a bad idea, though. Frankly, I can't believe that there are even that many die hard marks out there that really want to see Hogan have "one more match at Wrestlemania", especially rehashing a moment everyone has seen a million times on WWE television.

Have you ever got so frustrated with a game that you...
Dobbs 3K replied to CBright7831's topic in Video Games
Man, I've never broken a controller. Usually if I get really frustrated I just say "fuck it" and turn off the console. -
Webb was OK. Everything he said about helping the middle class was dead on, but will probably be ignored by the media, and his own party, though.

RayCo, is that you?

It wasn't Striker doing impressions that got him heat. He was first on Raw, and got heat there though I don't know why. When he went to Smackdown, to tape stuff for WWE.com and do a dark match, he said something that got back to JBL that for some reason had JBL all fired up and when he was told to try and defuse the situation he said something else that saw Bob Holly tell Striker he had 24 hours to learn how to fight. Apparently, Striker said something to the effect of that even though he was sent to Atlanta he was able to talk his way out of it by telling DeMott and Jody Hamilton that he had business to take care of in New York. He was trying to be smart but it wound up with people hating him even more. What set Guerrero off on him is when Striker was asked what he was doing on Smackdown, Striker joked back with something like "just taking their money", which didn't sit too well and when Guerrero told Striker he needed to smarten up Striker again tried to be funny and it backfired in a big way because Guerrero got mad at Striker and walked off, and when Benoit found out what Striker had done, which he felt was disrespecting Guerrero, he threw Striker's bags out of the locker room and told him to dress somewhere else. Sounds like the usual treatment an intelligent guy gets from meatheads. No, it sounds like he was mouthing off for no reason.

Yeah, why don't they put forward CM Punk as well? It would be just as likely...
-
Yeah, it's not like he hides his politics or anything.

No, I'm saying that after Dean lost that primary, the media decided to bury him by overplaying the "YEAH!" thing a billion times. Nothing's really preventing the media from reporting Bush's flip flopping, except for probably fear of being seen as undermining the troops. I mean, anytime someone speaks out against the war, you have commentators saying that they're "giving aid and comfort to the enemy", whatever the hell that means.

It's Ted Nugent. What did they expect? I think the song they meant is "Fred Bear".
-
Well, the media hasn't saddled up with a candidate yet, only to realize they didn't pick right later on. So there you go.
-
Nice. Hope someone brings that up after his speech tonight.

Yeah, it's kind of like the dozen or so times the Midnight Express has gotten back together on some indy show or another.
-
Yes, because when a wrestler is being interviewed on TV, I should be getting an erection at the same time.
-
I don't get how HBK can be a stable unto himself, though. You'd think they'd at least make "GOD" an honorary member.
-
People that would rather see a "reality" competition rather than a "reality" freakshow where producers deliberately send bad people to the judges to smack down. Huh. I wonder what the feels like.
-
He was on TNA a while ago, wasn't he? I seem to remember him looking quite a bit different from his wrestling days.
-
Or reading comic books.

Borash is fine. TNA has a lot bigger problems than a competent backstage interviewer to worry about.
