How about a vertical suplex into a reverse neckbreaker? I'd think that would look cool and not be too dangerous.

Sooooo don't have interest in Undertaker vs Batista at Wrestlemania...

Kind of happening in a roundabout way already. Yeah, those ladies wrapping your burrito at Taco Bell & that guy that does your landscaping are just like those paratroopers in Red Dawn. What about the murderers and rapists? Sure, they're not taking over the country, but it's not like they're not a problem. You must look forward to twenty years from now when the whole southwestern US is our own version of Kosovo.

The PCS was indeed funny. I like how Shelley said something like "Even if it's artificial, you have to love his form" in regards to Sonjay Dutt... That said, I thought the show was kind of weak overall. All the matches felt really rushed, and again they're falling into the trap of trying to cram as much as possible into one hour. Also, Tenay and West really need to shut up once in a while, if even for just five or ten seconds.

Not everyone wants to play in New York, though. Don't know Suppan's feelings on the subject.
-
Sorry if this has been brought up, but big story here in Wisconsin is the Brewers going after Jeff Suppan. Would definitely be a solid addition to the rotation. Pirates and Mets are also rumored to be after him, though the Mets seem to have stronger interest in Zito.

Bah, no one is going to start dropping nukes. Quit being hyperbolic. They're just sending a message to Iran, that's all.
-
I hated those swarmy "Quite Frankly" promo commercials where he was blowing the New England Patriots.
-
Well, considering we already have artificial hearts and limbs available, it's not too hard to imagine.
-
Gee, you title this as if Iran hasn't been the one doing the sabre rattling.

Congress would have to re-authorize the draft. I think it's safe to say the Democrats wouldn't go for it, even if Bush asked them to.

Sounds like ringing endorsements all around!

That's true, but it's still the government's job to not put them in harm's way unless absolutely necessary, and to back them fully when they do.

OK Savage ended up winning world belts, had a great feud with Flair and was a part of the NWO. Luger was the face for WCW against the NWO while Sting was "out" and was more or less the first "holy shit" moment of the Monday Night Wars. They both probably made more money in WCW than WWF as well...

So, FOX had all new episodes of the cartoon stuff last night. Surprised to find no thread on any of 'em as of yet. I watched these in lieu of ordering Survivor Series, and glad I did. Simpsons: Pretty blah episode. I won't go into the whole "this series is slipping off and needs to be cancelled" stuff, but boy, they're kind of stretching for premises. Marge making sculptures out of popsicle sticks? Come on already. Homer gets a new job yet again. I'd really love to have a good ol' fashioned Bart-centric episode so we can get a break from Homer's antics. Speaking of, I think he and Lisa might have been on screen for all of five seconds last night, unless I'm forgetting something. At least there weren't any stupid celebrity appearances, unless one slipped by me. The Oprah parody was somewhat amusing, at least. American Dad: Great stuff again. Roger is consistently good comic relief, and having Klaus narrate was a good device. Can't really say much else, other than I laughed quite a bit through this one. The guard character in Stan's "bat cave" was amusing. Family Guy: Finally, a pretty good episode. The whole Stewie and Olivia plot had me roaring. Stewie's insult string at Olivia, where he's dressed in a leather jacket, was pretty amusing. Oh yeah, loved the ending dialogue between Stewie and Brian during the credits. Only bad part was the whole "chick flick" thing with Peter didn't really go anywhere, other than a really stupid movie that lasted about 20 seconds. The War at Home: This mandatory "non-cartoon during the cartoon block" is pretty good. They're writing all the characters pretty well, and get each family member in for a decent amount of each episode. Didn't really see the point or payoff of Mike's nudism, but whatever. They play up the pseudo-relationship with Larry and Kenny pretty well. Also, the mom is hot, so that's always a bonus.

What's happening in the pic with the crocodiles?

Without spoiling things, can anyone say if they acknowledge the plot of Rocky V, or do they pretty much forget about that stuff?

I once saw a guy I hated in high school hanging out in some random parking lot in Milwaukee. Just kept walking and didn't look at him, but got really mad, because he was a total dick in school.
-
You'd think they'd do it just once to prove the whole "#30 is the best number" thing. I mean, why not have some total dick heel like Edge come in at #30, and eliminate the babyface who's lasted since being #1 or #2 to win it?

Speculation that the nWo will return. -
I can't imagine them putting RVD over Lashley right now, since Lashley is their pet project, it seems.

Black Lushus must not have watched RAW or read the RAW thread. Maybe "Kenny Doane" sounded too stupid.

Eh, they'll find an excuse to fire him in a few months, one way or the other. -
