RVD holding TWO World Title at the same time (but not for long). MNM breaking up and then reforming for an ECW PPV. JBL would retire from the ring. William Regal and a returning Dave Taylor reforming the Blue Bloods (but without the name). (I didn't realize Kurt Angle has been with four "promotions" this year....that's really bizarre, but it kind of proves what he said about WWE making him the de facto "utility man".)

They could do an angle where Coach announces on RAW that he's negotiated a deal for to buy out ECW, because he's "sick of all this extreme crap" or whatever. Have a few guys get signed away by Teddy Long to go to Smackdown, and there you go. They could even keep the ECW timeslot and call the show "RAW Xtra" or something, since that's basically what it is now.

Hmmm...that brings up a good point. I guess this battle royale on Monday will only feature RAW superstars, since they didn't really play up that guys from Smackdown and ECW would be competing. (Actually in the preview on WWE.com it says "In the biggest Battle Royal in Raw history, the Raw Superstars will compete in hopes that they’ll emerge victorious to challenge Cena for his title. "). Anyone know if this is really the "biggest battle royal" in RAW history? I'd swear I remember a 40 man battle royal, but that may have been in the "Primetime Wrestling" days...that particular one featured quite a few jobbers in it as well. Also noticed that the "Superstars" section for RAW still lists the Rock and Stone Cold. Just a meaningless stupid thing I felt like pointing out.

Well, I don't think Shelton should've gotten the title right away during his mini-feud with Triple H, but they never should have depushed him as much as they have. Hopefully this new run with TWGTT will help build him up again.

RVD is too big a name to stick in the X Division, sorry. Would anyone buy Sabin or Sonjay Dutt going over him? No way. RVD should come in on a live episode of Impact, and cut a blistering anti-WWE promo. Have AJ Styles come out and tell him that "No once cares what you did up there, you were a paper champion, I'm the whole damn show in TNA, etc". Instant main event feud.

As far as the "alternates" you listed, they had their chance with Jeff Hardy a couple years ago when he feuded with 'Taker, and they blew that. Kenny is obviously too green at this point. I think they may be grooming Nitro for a World Title win down the line. They seem like they've kind of given up on trying to make Masters a main eventer. I think the two best possiblities on that list are Carlito, if they ever give him a serious push, and Shelton, once he's done re-teaming with Charlie Haas.

Do it like Europe and make the one dollar bill smaller, and each increasing bill gradually larger.

As far as the Rumble, I could see CM Punk getting the "stayed longest in the match" push, but he won't get that many eliminations. Most eliminations will go to someone from ECW, I'm thinking...maybe Terkay or Mike Knox (shudder).

I think RVD will definitely jump to TNA. It's clear WWE has no further plans to use him seriously, and guys like Angle and Christian are doing fine in TNA. It just makes sense.

I'm pretty sure even though Cena has the spinner belt, Triple H's name plate is stuck on there somewhere.

I'm self employed and am the only employee, so I will celebrate by not putting on one more event/gathering for myself to attend. I may make margaritas to have with chips and salsa, though.

I agree. I've been saying for a while that they should do Cena vs HBK at WM...it would be better than another tired Cena/HHH match.

Well, WWE hasn't really started to hype the Royal Rumble at all yet, and that PPV usually does good buys based on the gimmick match alone, so I don't think this will have any negative impact on it.

It might not be so bad. I'm a mark for battle royals...maybe they can stretch it out and play up the "Everyone is trying to hang on so they can win Cena's title!" thing. I hate battle royals that are all "blink and you missed 'em" eliminations.
