I actually liked "Adore"...or at least "Perfect."

I'd love to see Gary Sheffield and Barry Bonds end up on the same team so I can direct all my hatred at just one team, for the sake of convenience.

Kind of an underwhelming World Series overall (partly due to FOX's usual crappy coverage), but it's nice for the Cards to have a championship. Now I just hope they fall off the cliff next year so the NL Central is a little more open (well, actually it was wide open this year, but no other team bothered to capitalize).

I was thinking the same thing. I thought that happened on Superstars as well.

I've only been married for three years, but our family income has been roughly in that range and I don't recall our taxes going down 96%...don't know of anyone who was yelling "WOW! My taxes went down almost 100%!" either.

"The Triumph & Tragegdy of WCCW 9/18/07" YES!!!

snuffbox, you "explaining how much a great wall will cost" amounted to petty name calling and pandering in a completely unrelated thread, IIRC.

OK, I see your point. I think it's just splitting hairs, either way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~! -
Making Butters into a fleshed out character was one of the best things they did on South Park over the last five years or so. His innocence is a nice counter to the skepticism and sarcasm of the four main characters.

What the hell does that even mean? I could never figure that one out.

Don't know if it was mentioned yet, but Road Dogg and Billy Gunn shoving the dumpster with Mick Foley and Terry Funk off the ramp was a pretty huge moment.

?????? "Australia's most prominent Islamic cleric declared Friday that he would not resign for suggesting that women who don't wear head scarves invite rape, saying he would only leave his post "after we clean the world of the White House first." -
Yeah, I thought last night's episode was pretty hillarious. The catholic priests with their "pets" was funny in a disturbing kind of way.

I'm thinking of getting it for Xbox (I haven't jumped onto the next-gen bandwagon, and probably won't for the time being).

They should screen it in adult theaters since plenty of liberals in the US will likely be whacking off to it. If they were really interested in showing the effects of an assasination, they could have simply used a fictitious president. Even if they had called him "President George B. Walker" or something, it would have been less transparent and tacky.

There's a difference between being a pretty much completely discredited GOP commentator, and being the leader of a religion in an entire country, which supposedly advocates peace. -
oAo ECW on Sci Fi Thread // October 24, 2006
Dobbs 3K replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't know...CM Punk seems to be over with the live crowds, so at least the push they're giving him is working. Overall, I think the shows have been generally pretty repetitive. Granted, there's only so much they can do in one hour to advance so many guys, and they have a relatively small roster...but it seems like it's roughly the same matches week after week. Also, the "big moments" have been few and far between. I mean, other than Bob Holly's big gash after that table spot with RVD, how many memorable spots have there really been? They need stuff like Raven hitting Dreamer with the chair against the cage, etc. That's the stuff that built up ECW. I'm not saying guys should be getting disfigured on live TV, but at least try to make the show a little different match-wise than Monday Night Raw. -
Yeah, that was the one where HBK was in the ring doing a promo against Hogan, and then Bret Hart's music started playing, right? And then, later on, Hogan's music played and even he didn't come out either...that was classic heel dickery from HBK.

Ahem.

O.J Simpson to write book that details murders

Wasn't he kind of found guilty in the civil trial, though? I'm totally confused trying to remember the whole thing...I'm talking about the second trial, not the first one. -
I think it somehow makes it worse that the dog had been dead for several days, apparently. What the hell is going through someone's mind to do something like that?

Hillarious article. Thanks for linking to it. Personally, I think a president who leads a gang of 20 or 30 tough guys would be a good thing. It would make foreign leaders think twice before messing with him, for sure.

They should do this with Edge, Orton, Nitro, and Kenny. That would actually be good (as long as Kenny gets a last name). I do like the current teaming of Edge and Orton, because it makes sense from a storyline and character standpoint. I hope they become more of a permanent group and not just job boys for Triple H and HBK.

I think Flair even said somewhere he doesn't want another Four Horsemen group. That idea has run it's course. I think WWE needs an upper-tier heel group, at least on RAW to counter DX, but ever since Evolution they haven't really bothered to put anything like that together.
