    WWE Sign 2 Cold Scorpio.

Can't wait to read the release announcement on WWE.com in about six months.

    Who was the weak link?

I gotta take issue with some of your choices on that list: Demolition - My friends and I always thought Smash was cooler than Ax. But, they were basically booked as interchangable equals. Smash was the one who stayed on after Ax left, too. Rockers - Come on...before they broke up, the only way to tell Jannetty and Michaels apart was their hair color. Really didn't see one being booked stronger than the other. Midnight Express - I'm sure Jim Cornette would take issue with your pick. Lane and Eaton were different, but booked as a cohesive unit very consistenly. Eaton brought the high flying, Lane had the kicks and technical wrestling side. Brainbusters - In their solo matches, it seems like Arn was portrayed as being able to beat almost anyone. Tully usually had to cheat or do something crooked to win. I think they were basically equals, though. The only reason Arn was maybe the weak link in the early Horsemen was because he was still pretty young, and less experienced than the other members.
  3. Assuming this is true, they either need to get the World Title off Jeff Jarrett, or have him lose it on the very first Monday Night TNA (or whatever they decide to call it). They better get their booking together ASAP as well. They've really lost me lately, as someone who was looking for an alternative to RAW and Smackdown. I think I enjoy ECW more than TNA right now, and that says a lot.

    Boogeyman released

Maybe WWE should focus on hiring guys who can actually wrestle, rather than big impressive looking guys who can't work. I mean, look at their track record in the last couple years with big men who they just end of firing anyway.

The Official PWI 500 List for 2006

Yeah, that's why NWA guys were frequently named "wrestler of the year" etc., as well.
  6. I didn't say they're stupid. Some of them are very intelligent. Osama bin Laden is probably a genius. However, buy our standards, they are just uncivilized. They have no concept of our type of civilization, a republic or a democracy. I'm sick of trying to deal with them, or pretending that they're all peace loving. There's something like, 1 billion Muslims in this world. Even if only 1 percent of them are fanatical jihadists, that's still 10 million people. Are we ever going to stop them all? No, of course not. So, why not cut ourselves off from those nations where they come from and that sponsor them, secure our borders, and move on with our Western way of life? Eventually their movement will burn out, their governments will collapse, and they'll have to start again, hopefully in the 21st century and not the 14th century. Oh, and you resorted to name calling first in this debate, not me.
  7. Pretty much all WWE is stale right now.
  8. Well, yes, if you murder someone you're lowering yourself to the level of an animal, so yes.
  9. I think it's funny that Muslims in the Middle East are protesting the pope _quoting_ someone, by burning Christian churches. When are we finally going to realize these people are barbarian, and treat them accordingly? It's useless trying to be diplomatic with the animals.
  10. What I liked about WCW SN was that it was just "wrestling for the sake of wrestling." It was fun to watch and see who they'd put on the show, and then see two guys go at it for five to ten minutes, without some convoluted storyline or angle to drive the match.
  11. Yeah, KENTA in TNA would "re-write the history of the industry." Gimme a f'n break. No one cares about those Japanese and Mexican guys. Of all those guys you listened, Goldberg is the only remote possibility to come to TNA. Rock has better things to do, and Bret Hart has basically said he's completely done with wrestling.
  12. I get the feeling it's Bill Goldberg, but who knows? I think we've all learned not to get too excited about announcements like this, although to be fair, TNA usually delivers something big when they say something like this (Christian, Sting, etc).

    Lucky Louie cancelled

Boooo...I just discovered this show recently after getting HBO. I really enjoy it. Hopefully they keep airing re-runs so I can play catch-up.

You have bloody Abdullah on your wall? That's messed up.

    Fox Sunday - September 17, 2006

Simpons just seems to be REALLY going through the motions at this point. The show needs some kind of shakeup, but I can't imagine what right now. Also, can they do one episode without a band or actor making a special guest appearance?
  16. Or better yet, people who bitch about Wal-Mart, but then shop there when one opens in their town.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Wow, I don't remember this at all. I think I kind of got out of watching WCW for a while after the Dangerous Alliance broke up.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Also, the two biggest names on their, Nash and Goldberg, were basically gone from WCW TV in the last few months. Hell, I think Sting was basically a non-factor, Hogan was already gone, etc.

Looks like a photoshop job on that t-shirt.

WWE signs four wrestlers from the past

At least Marty had some awesome matches during that short stint earlier this year. Remember that match with Kurt Angle? I thought they had basically stated they'd never hire him again, though? Shawn Michaels must've put in a good word for him.

Vader's jump from WCW to the WWF

Yeah. It was pretty soon after that they started airing those "Where the Big Boys Play" commercials that would show current WCW guys beating guys who had jumped to WWF and ECW.

    Gas Price Check...

$2.599 today in the tax hell of Wisconsin.
  23. It will be Cena versus someone. The problem is: - Randy Orton is damaged goods right now. No way they build towards him in the main event right now. - Carlito is just not over enough right now to be in a marquee match at this point. - Shelton Benjamin has fallen off the face of the earth, apparently. - Triple H would be logical, but we've seen that before. Enough times already. - Edge...see Triple H. - Austin isn't coming back. Neither is Rock. Hogan will probably work the show, but against someone like Big Show or Umaga. So I'm thinking... Your RAW main event at WrestleMania 23 is: John Cena vs Shawn Michaels. Don't know why, just what I'm feeling right now.

    'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Arrested

Gee, the government of Mexico protecting a rich criminal? That's pretty hard to believe...

    Someone had their myspace site...

What's the point of having a bunch of people you don't even know as your "friends" on your Myspace site anyway? "Oh look...I have 500 people who I've never even talked to before on my myspace!" I guess I'm too old to "get it."
