He gets mad about other stuff too. Right after N. Korea launched those missiles, I thought he was going to beat someone to death. He basically criticized Bush for running the US "like a banana republic."

Wasn't Vince gone for quite a bit during that time period due to legal problems and stuff?

At first I thought the Hulk Hogan thing was a record, but then I noticed it's actually a Laserdisc. That's gotta be pretty rare, I'd think.

Well, Galloway is a far-leftist, so his remarks aren't surprising. Frankly, Fox News has had plenty of people on TV saying they support Hezbollah and think Israel should stop attacking them, so I don't know why people continue to rag on them so much.

In some people's minds, yes. Boy, you don't see too many pictures of blown up Israeli neighborhoods though, eh? http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060806/D8JATDO80.html Actually this link here has a pretty fitting picture of the situation in Israel right now, to be fair. Yeah, let's have a cease fire with a terrorist group, that will fix things, since the Arabs have been so great about keeping cease fires in the past.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3286966,00.html A great example of the "fair" coverage this war is receiving right now.

Lou Dobbs is the only one focusing on the border issue. At least he shows footage of people actually crossing the border, and nothing being done about it. Why is anyone who talks about that immediately labeled a racist? Do you think it's really only Mexicans coming through the border? What is wrong with protecting our nation's sovereignty?

No, although that would've been hillarious. I'm sure it would've resulted in a lawsuit of some kind...though I'm not sure if it would've been illegal for them to simply wear on TV shirts that had been legally purchased.

Heh, I never knew anyone who had the ROB...a friend of mine had the one that came with the Powerpad (thing you could run and jump on), along with the standard two controllers and light gun, though. It also had the three game cartridge, which was neat.

I freaked out when our family got an NES for Christmas back in '88...not as much as the kid in that video, though.

Macs are great for video, picture, and music editing...I don't think they're really needed for your average user who is just going to do internet surfing, word processing, and play games, though.

I've had my Dell Dimension desktop for three years, and no complaints at all. I did go with a fairly high end one (paid a little over a grand for it, including an LCD monitor), but I wanted to get something that would last me a few years, and so far it has. I haven't done much upgrading to it, other than adding more RAM, which was a cinch. Certainly if you can build your own, go for it, but if you don't have the time or knowledge, Dell isn't a bad option in my book.

No, just illegal aliens.

I don't care what anyone says...Jeff Hardy was pretty damn over before he left WWE. Remember that ladder match he had with Undertaker? That was insane. The question is...what are they going to do with him? I'm guessing Matt will return after his short hiatus (he just got squashed last week pretty decisively on Smackdown), and say something like "I lost something I needed, but now it's back", and re-intro his brother. Than they can go after the tag belts on Smackdown, I guess.

I agree this is probably the right time for Trish to leave. She's basically the greatest female wrestler in WWE/WWF history (other than the Fabulous Moolah). Better to go out now, than before Vince got tired of her and started putting her in embarassing angles (like with Molly Holly). That said, I hope she puts over someone like Mickie James one final time before she leaves. I think it's going to be Mickie's division to carry for a while, since neither Torrie or Candice have the in-ring talent, and Victoria is starting to be seen as "the older veteran" of the division. As far as Lita, it said she was looking for minor acting roles. Maybe she can do some indy films or something. There's gotta be some wrestling fanboy movie producer somewhere that will cast her in some bit role.

I think it would be hillarious if he busts out the five knuckle shuffle in the middle of the movie. Really, it looks stupid, but no worse than most current Hollywood action movies. I bet it does all right, since the PG-13 rating will allow a lot of high school kids and young marks to see it.

I think Trish can probably do a lot in acting roles, etc. I think a lot of people are too hard on Lita. Her personal life isn't really anyone's business, and I'm sure she's done nothing worse than a lot of people in the wrestling biz. Personally, I think she makes a pretty good valet/manager for Edge. I think if she leaves, Edge is going to have to pick up a new piece of arm candy.

Wow, a guy from Wisconsin hating Fox News. I am stunned. Wisconsin has just as many nutball conservatives as nutball liberals, don't kid yourself. Hell, it's probably has the largest collection of racists outside of the South. I dunno, the Madison/Milwaukee dynamic duo might push it to third behind Idaho/Montana. Still, you drive half an hour out of Madison and you're in truck country, where everyone seems to have an equal hatred for gun control, diversity, and the Chicago Bears. I wouldn't say Wisconsin is out and out racist...but, I would say there is a decent amount of racial tension (yes, there is a difference) with the rapidly increasing Hispanic and Hmong populations in the state.

I think my favorite right now is Lou Dobbs, for some reason.

How did they come up with these gimmicks or characters
Dobbs 3K replied to Vern Gagne's topic in General Wrestling
Anyone know how Bret Hart got his "Hitman" nickname? -
Come on, Heenan was always saying stuff like that as a heel commentator. I think criticizing that call is being pretty nit-picky.

That would be a fine solution if the government would actually back those people up. What usually happens is an illegal gets turned in, then just let out again to roam free.
-
Good, at least they're doing something about the problem.

I look forward to the day of being able to visit Havana in a free Cuba. I don't think the US will get involved militarily in Cuba at this point. Maybe in a limited capacity if a civil war were to break out, but that's about it.

I probably watch CNN the most, then probably Fox News a bit.
