Can we just let it go already? It's been almost ten years. When I got on the internet back in '96 or so, people weren't still rambling on and obsessing about the rock & wrestling connection, Vern Gagne's incompetence, or Hulk Hogan's first title run, etc.

My wife (a former English teacher) always finds it hillarious that WWE seems to be a champion of literacy, with all the books they publish and hype.

Just because we _could_ invade Iraq doesn't mean it was the right decision, ultimately. Also, invading and the having a plan for occupation are two separate things.

Kerry was a good candidate, but like I said earlier, he ran a terrible campaign.

Yeah, there's that one tape where Bush is being briefed and all he says is "We're praying for you folks". Seriously. Maybe it would've been nice if he did more than pray, and actually did something to help, since he's, you know...the president of the United States, and it's his job to protect the American people.

If the ECW fans are really so enraged about all this, maybe one of them will take matters into their own hands the next time Vince McMahon appears in the ring...

Isn't Vince busy enough with RAW and Smackdown? Does he really have time to micro-manage all three shows on a weekly basis? This doesn't make any sense. He should be thinking about retirement soon, not worrying about the booking of a TV show based on a promotion built by a guy who works for the company...

I was thinking that. Maybe they call it bWx or something. It would be hillarious if Stevie played HBK, and Blue Meanie was Triple H.

I believe PBS and NPR should be privatized, or at least allowed to run commercials and support themselves, rather than doing pledge drives every hour or so. I don't feel tax dollars should go to a network of TV and radio stations, at least ones that target a domestic audience.

John Kerry tried the whole "disagree with whatever Bush says" thing in 2004, and it backfired when he couldn't back up his counter-arguments at all. Like when President Bush said they were going to scale back military bases in Germany, and Kerry said it was a bad idea but couldn't give any solid reasoning.

I don't know why they don't just move Vito to ECW where he could actually be something. I actually think he's a talented big man, but this Perry Saturn rip-off gimmick isn't going to do anything for him.

I thought the thing with Kelly was fine when she was actually at ringside doing something, ie. being a valet for Mike Knox. They got the point across about her relationship with Knox...then they had to do the whole "Kelly's Expose" segment anyway. Did anyone in that whole arena or watching at home NOT think Knox was going to run out again and stop her??? WAY too much time devoted to one (meaningless) character for a 60 minute show. They could've used that "striptease" time to let someone like the FBI or Steven Richards do an interview, etc. Also, yes, Kelly's dancing is beyond horrible. Is anyone in WWE actually paying attention?

This almost caused some heart attacks on a couple Brewers message boards with the headline "Dodgers trade for Hall and Hendrickson", implying that the Brewers had traded away Bill Hall and Ben Hendrickson. Hendrickson wouldn't be a big deal, but the Brewers probably can't give up Hall at this point.

I agree with this, like it or not.

So, does this mean we should all cancel our pre-orders for "Chinese Democracy" yet?

I don't know...a few months ago two young black boys went missing in the Milwaukee area, and the story was all over every single channel and news outlet in the area.

I was very excited when Jericho "won" the title, but knew it would get reversed somehow. However, I figured it would lead to a big Jericho-HHH rematch where Jericho would finally win the title. Of course, that never happened, and I think that was kind of the pivotal moment that made Jericho's WWF/WWE run an ultimate failure. When he won the Undisputed Title later on, it just didn't feel the same (and of course his whole reign was basically a joke anyway).

If WWE is now ripping off old comic book storylines, I don't think the Spider-Clone saga was the best choice. My brain is starting to hurt thinking about this.

I don't know. Personally I'm wondering if the masked Kane that got beat up last night is maybe one of two, and the "real" masked Kane is just toying with unmasked Kane (Glenn Jacobs). That would mean there are THREE Kanes, which would be totally bizarre.

I could see it being a local news story, but the national news media just loves to run with these rape and kidnapping cases like crazy. I'm sorry, but a missing person story shouldn't be all over the national news for weeks at a time.

After watching the Brewers beat the Cubs last night, I'm convinced Chris Capuano should make the All-Star team for the NL. Carlos Lee seems like a lock.

I'm just glad Kane is in some kind of meaningful angle again, after all that May 19th crap.
