She could always take an advance on a book deal that isn't paid out until after she leaves office, or something along those lines. I really don't see what's so compelling about this woman. Are die hard Republicans really that eager for more of her pandering to the "Real America," that they'll buy a book by her, or watch all her media appearances? Are there really that many more layers of her to explore at this point? (Let's save the dirty jokes, guys).

No, you couldn't select Hawk or Animal in the Royal Rumble mode itself. There may be a hack or cheat code if you're playing on an emulator, but that's it. In the actual arcade version, the LOD was not selectable at all.

I don't think the Brawler was ever seen as a legit threat. Eh...he was a step up from the typical jobbers like Major Yates or Duane Gill from that era. You could at least see him pulling out the upset victory. I think I remember him even winning once or twice on Superstars back in the day.

My favorite part is Stan Hansen yelling at the guys in the bathroom about their "teeny peckers." I'm surprised Vince let a non-WWF guy have a somewhat recognizable role in that movie.

Wow, that cage match wasn't anywhere bad as I thought it would be. Yeah, it was gimmicky and a big cluster, but that's what a cage match is. If I had watched that as a ten year old, I would have been marking out huge.

I think both Blyleven and Mussina should get into the Hall. I think Mussina will get in, but it won't be on the first ballot. As far as the Royals, seems like a decent move for them. It's nice to see the Red Sox finally trade Crisp, as he was one of those guys that is always rumored in trade talks.

Well, Demolition (Ax and Smash) have actually been doing some independent wrestling dates...supposedly they signed a WWE Legends deal (there's been a Demolition action figure set for a while now), and part of it was that they'd get inducted next year.

Val is kind of like the modern equivalent of Brooklyn Brawler in WWE...he seems like a somewhat legit threat in the ring yet, and makes other people look good. Assuming they aren't paying him a fortune, there's no reason to release him.

It's been rumored Demolition is going to be inducted this year, but I have no idea if that's true or not.

I've heard that movie is either going to be really good or really horrible, depending on who you listen to.

See, I could never justify paying a subscription to play a game. I get the justification, but with all the other junk I already pay for (cable, internet, satellite radio), I can't see paying one more monthly bill just to play one game.

Well, part of that too was that they didn't have anyone else to rely on too much. Gallardo was injured, Sheets had injury issues, as did Suppan. If they hadn't ridden CC like that, they would have used the bullpen even more (and McClung was already making spot starts on top of that), and they probably wouldn't have made it anyway. I do think most people realize and accept that CC was probably just with us for 3+ months. That was certainly the mentality at the time. However, the fans are seeing Attanasio and Doug Melvin make a good faith effort to try and keep the guy, and then the Yankees step in and make a ridiculous offer. Like I said, that's the frustrating aspect. Brewers fans will get over it though. Even if the Brewers can't get CC back, chances are they will be able to somehow obtain at least one high quality starting pitcher this off season. They pretty much have to.
