Show did a .95 rating. I didn't bother watching this one...just looked like a bunch of non-compelling junk, which has been like most of their shows lately.

This thing is going to sink the McCain campaign. I don't think even the most ardent conservatives are really truly buying this crap. Anyone who really believe Obama is associated with terrorists weren't going to vote for Obama to begin with.

I'll pick the Rays in 7. Just seems like this is "their year".

2008 NLCS: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies

I say Dodgers in 5, and I base that on nothing. -
I do wish politicians would have the guts to change their stance on Cuba and risk forsaking the support of basically one freaking city in Florida...

OK, when and where did you see Flair wrestle in street clothes? I'm having a real hard time fathoming that one.

CC in a heartbeat. Sheets is just too unreliable from a health standpoint. As great as Sheets has been at times, Sabathia is that special true bona fide ace type that doesn't come along very often. Oh, and there have been reports that Mark Attanasio intends to have the Brewers make him a very competitive offer. I don't know if it will work, but him walking to another team isn't a forgone conclusion yet. It's going to be an interesting winter for the Brewers either way, as they should have plenty of money available to spend with so much money coming off the books.

Thanks anyway, Brewers. A very memorable season, despite falling short in the playoffs. I would think there's no way Suppan is with the team next season...he'll have to have armed bodyguards with him.
-
I always liked his angle in '95/early '96 where he was a face teaming with Sting, but basically a heel in singles matches being managed by Jimmy Hart.
-
I finally got to see my first playoff game last night, and it was a great time. The crowd was pumped from beginning to end. The Brewers have to hope Jeff Suppan does what they paid him to do...win in October, today. If they can get it to game 5, then CC has a chance to make up for his mediocrity in his last start.

Ooooo...Biden was tricky there...basically saying "Well, you guys are taking the same stance as us on gays."

That's not what they're hungry to tap, Sarah.

"How are we gonna get there to positively affect the impacts?" What?!

Boy, her grammar is awful. Most of her sentences are just a bunch of rambling slogans that end up trailing off.

Yeah, terrible series so far. This team seems to have come into the playoffs running on fumes. I'm basically just hoping they win Saturday when I'm there, so they can at least avoid the sweep.
-
They hate their park too, which is why they're building a new one.
-
OK, I give up, who is the guy on the left? Hector Garza?

I think I know what would solve problems like this... No, I won't say it.

Well, at least we didn't get shut out.

How can people not like Ozzie? I think he's hilarious.

Sheets is done for the year. He has a torn flexor mass muscle. Sounds like it should heal over the off season. Could be likely the Brewers offer him arbitration and he is with them again next year, since his chances of getting a multi year deal from another team are looking dim. I won't bother with predictions, since I obviously want the Brewers winning.

I was happy to see the White Sox win. I like Ozzie and AJ. First time both Chicago teams have been in the playoffs in over 100 years. That's crazy.
-
As a side note in between all the playoff talk, the Pirates fired their pitching coach and first base coach the other day. As I heard someone mock on XM, "Surely this will be the move that turns them around."

Oh whatever, I still get a nice chuckle out of it and back when he did it I loved it,hell most did. It was funny the first couple times, then it just got incredibly old after about three weeks. I think even WWE regrets doing that one.
