The last level of Bubble Bobble was basically impossible. You had to hope for a certain fluke power up to show up in order to have any chance of winning, from what I remember.

I'm going to get into another fight...

This made me laugh hysterically. -

Yeah, a pretty small, "no name" brand TV, generally. It's not like the picture difference is small. -

I was going to say that Kizzo should watch it with Marvin, and they can give each other hand jobs while marveling at the picture. Anyway, my cable company carries no USA or CW HD feed, so the switches to HD don't mean jack to me at the moment, even though I have an HD-ready TV set (yes, with an HD cable box). -
The thing that killed Boy Meets World for me was the constant character changes, and changes in the tone of the episodes.

Hustler is what it is, but that's pretty tacky. -
To be honest, I think Gino Hernandez is slightly overrated. I just don't see how he would have really taken off with his size. Yeah, he looked good and was charismatic, but he wasn't a bigger guy. I think the highest he could have risen would have been a Rick Rude level, or maybe playing a Ricky Steamboat type of babyface. I think he would have eventually left wrestling after a few years to get into acting, like others mentioned. I'm not trying to downplay his talent, though. He was part of some really good angles and solid matches.

How did you find out that wrestling was not "real"?
Dobbs 3K replied to majormayhem1's topic in General Wrestling
I think I kind of knew since I was about 10 or 11 that wrestling was "fake", which would have been around '90 or so. Someone pointed out to me how wrestlers would cooperate with each other during moves and things like that. It wasn't until I got on the 'net around '96 that I really understood the extent of how scripted it actually was. -
Isn't Otsuka possibly undergoing Tommy John surgery?

It's based on logic...some guys will interfere a lot and be very "aware" of their partners, other won't at all.
-
Oh, OK, I'll take that under advisement... Oh, wait, you're banned again. Go figure.

Well, I guess we know which of those camps JHawk outlined Czech falls into.

Well, technically then it was Eastern Championship Wrestling, not Extreme before Shane Douglas. -
Neat. Anyway, I don't ultimately care either way. I'm just tired of people talking about this bitch like she was really something special. The endess debates about bringing her back are beyond old and pointless.
-
No, it really doesn't. Last I checked, you're not a mod, so your opinion doesn't really matter at all.
-
Yeah, I think we've kind of gathered that.
-
Still, for all she has ripped this board in the past, why would she want to come back?
-
Why are people still obsessed about this one person? Geez, let it go, guys.
-
I think I've seen that... So, 8 (ft) X 12 inches = 96 inches. 96 divided by 3 = 32 inch screen. That seems a little on the low side, but it's a decent ballpark.

Lakota Indians secede from the United States

Well, we should probably get to suppressing this rebellion, shouldn't we? -
While I think Tenta is a bit underrated, his matches were generally pretty much the same. Also, other than a couple big matches with Hogan and his time teaming with Typhoon, he didn't really have too many really big career moments. Basically, it would be him coming into the WWF, squashing some guys, feuding with Hogan, winning the tag belts with Typhoon, a brief mention of his feud with Yokozuna, then a quick summary of his run in WCW, and maybe mention him being Golga in the Oddities. Also, the sad fact that he is dead and obviously unable to be interviewed would make it way less interesting. Would love to see a Vader DVD set...hopefully that would be at least a two disc release. You could easily pick a dozen matches from his WCW days to put on such a release. I would also love to see a Fabulous Freebirds release. Maybe if the World Class DVD does well, WWE would consider it.

My predictions (and keep in mind I'm more of a "casual viewer" of TNA): - Kevin Nash will be gone again within the first six months of 2008. - The VKM leave the company as soon as they can. - The MCMGs break up and feud with each other. - Karen Angle wins the Women's Title at some point. - Booker T will win the Heavyweight Title. - Sting will not be back in 2008. - Team 3D will continue to meander, squashing various low card acts, and tease breaking up, but never actually do. - TNA realizes they don't need a dozen different "monster" gimmicks, and Rellik and Judas Messias both leave, have gimmick changes, or get fired. - Jim Cornette and Vince Russo finally have some big backstage argument. Cornette leaves the company. - Jeff Jarrett officially goes into semi-retirement. - Sabu is brought in once again, and is part of the Black Reign/Abyss storyline in some fashion. - Christian Cage forms another heel group. - AJ Styles finally gets another big solo push, while Tomko is paired up with another partner.

Well, that "map", while showing city names, is actually really vague on closer inspection.
