Also, the name "Teddy Hart" is really lame.

Wikipedia says that about 9,200 Deloreans were produced between '81 and '82.

Yeah, it's not going to happen, but there's been talk about Griffey possibly being traded to Milwaukee. Peter Gammons mentioned the rumors yesterday on ESPN. Supposedly, though, the Reds already told Griffey they hadn't been talking with the Brewers.

Yeah, I'm thinking they put that one to sleep.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
Dobbs 3K replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
The other possibility could be Carlito, given those kayfabe comments he made. -
I think the thing that annoyed me about Hebner was how WWE tried to basically turn him into another superstar during the Austin era. It's like, he's just a referee.
-
I don't think they'd want to put Elizabeth in, at least right now, with the whole focus on drugs in wrestling at the moment.

Yeah, I'd have to say Mark Curtis was one of the best. The way he'd overreact to big moves, or be real quick about sliding into position for a surprise cover attempt was real good. Also, recently watching the Ric Flair vs Ricky Morton cage match on the Horsemen DVD raised my opinion of Tommy Young, who I had never seen a lot of. You really believed he was in control of the match, and not just there to make the three count at the end. What about guest refs? I remember seeing Lou Thesz ref a match and thinking he did a good job. Anyone else?

Wrestling Deaths That Would (Might?) Get Mainstream Coverage?
Dobbs 3K replied to zappafrank's topic in General Wrestling
If Shane died, they'd play it as "WWE Wrestler and Owner's Son Dead", and make it sound like Vince killed him for the business or something. They'd show clips of him diving onto Blackman and being suplexed through glass by Kurt Angle. -
Perry Saturn.

This sounds kind of lame to me, since they haven't even mentioned a channel. Does Dish have video on demand type services like digital cable? The way this is worded, it almost seems like they might end up on something like that.

Latest reports saying that Bush is still refusing to shift Iraq policy. When is enough enough already?
-
Yeah, it was definitely due to a lack of credible wrestlers that year. I remember watching that one with a friend, and being like "where are all the good wrestlers?", then realizing HBK and Bulldog were basically it that year.

But it's a TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH! De American Dream's specialty! Dusty is gonna bring the plundah and take it to the pay windah! Yeah, it's gonna suck. His son seems like he could have some charisma, though. The crowd seemed into his slap and staredown with Orton.

Gabe, you're not human. You ate cheese curds? Jesus Christ. Hey now...cheese curds are delicious.

"Sprint ditches customers who complain too much"
Dobbs 3K replied to Only The Strong Survive's topic in Technology
It makes sense, though. If certain people are being unreasonable and taking up the lines that could be used to help other people, than I can see why they should have their account cancelled. -
Please don't tell me they're going to put Dusty back in the ring, in a singles match even? They should've learned their lesson earlier this year.

You need a geography lesson Reminds me of when someone on here posted that Nebraska was a Southern state as well. Is it that hard to get the basic gist of where the states in your own country are? Geez.
-
That won't change as long as you have Jeff Jarrett basically running things. Setting aside the fact that he is close friends with Vince Russo...this is the guy that had a tag team made up of wrestling penises, and a valet named Brown Eye Girl in his promotion when TNA first opened its doors. The "sports entertainment" (a poor moniker, as none of this crap is entertaining) aspect will never go away as long as Jarrett is calling the shots.
-
Just look at it as a chance to move on, hopefully to bigger and better things down the right. Learn your lesson (which I think you already have), and start building some credit up, so you're not scrounging for loans in the future. Yeah, losing your apartment sucks, but if you can get your own house in the future, it's not so bad.

I hated those. They go down your throat funny when you drink them.

You are correct that the average middle class American is better off than their counterparts throughout much of the world. However, a lot has been happening in the last few years to quickly erode that. I really do believe that people are working harder for less and less, and that the middle class is slowly being squeezed out of this country by the incompetent and corrupt government.
-
My comment comes more from the fact that we have to basically wait 'til at least 2009 for anything to change, and even then, I really doubt much will happen to improve things for the average middle class person in the US, or to change the status quo of our government. Again, I'm not advocating anything that extreme (and I wasn't necessarily talking about the president), I just don't think anything else will really get our government to get off their completely partisan asses at this point. I really do think that our elected officials need to learn to fear their constituency, even just a little bit.
