I don't see him being indifferent about it, just noting the fact that it exists. Yeah, this story is pretty messed up. Especially given the fact that a public school was apparently behind it.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
Dobbs 3K replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Can you post a synopsis of what RVD said? -
I don't have a deck, I have a patio. And I drive a car to work like normal people. I think you all missed my joke: "I nearly ran a skateboarder down with my car" "Well, everyone makes mistakes." I'll be here all week folks!
-
Well, getting something done about gas prices would be nice, but they can't even accomplish that. I really think we're going to have to see some assassinations take place for things to change. I'm not advocating it, but I don't see any reason for change on the horizon right now, in terms of how our government is operating.
-
What? Are you joking?
-
Yep. And Kronik, which was an APA ripoff. And Booker T was made into a Rock ripoff, and so on. Pretty blatant and lame, really. I'm surprised no wrestler just hauled off and punched Russo in the face for his shitty booking. Meltzer was right when he called Russo's booking "retarded."
-
I actually laughed when he imitated Kennedy's own ring intro. I thought it was amusing. I'm not sure where they're going with Kennedy right now. I assume he's going to squash Super Crazy in a rematch next week, and then be built up as an opponent for Cena.
-
The word "buried" is thrown around way too much. It was the same kind of promo that the Rock used to cut on people like Kane and Big Show, and they still stayed pretty over. Kennedy will still have plenty of heat after this.
-
I really do not remember that at all, thankfully.
-
It was also rumored to possibly be Gangrel or Godfather behind it, I think. They never did reveal who it was. Actually, I remember it disappeared for a while, then came back, then was promptly dropped again.
-
Maybe I shouldn't have said "heel turn", but it was definitely a heelish move. He just speared Cena out of nowhere, then left the ring. His usual demeanor was gone and he looked a lot more...not angry, but more like a bad ass type look. I hope they don't just play it off as Lashley playing mind games or something, and actually finish the turn with him.

Bush has resigned himself to his fate as an unpopular president, I guess.

That was a fun period of Smackdown, though. Yes, the character development was slow, but it was there. I really miss Brock Lesnar in WWE a lot. I could watch that guy's matches forever, seriously. His heel persona was so enjoyable, too. -
Kind of boring episode last night...yeah, there were a lot of matches, but they were all short and formulaic. I admit, the Lashley turn caught me by surprised. Mainly, I'm surprised they finally pulled the trigger on it.

I think we get FuelTV on our digital cable, but it's buried in the 400s between gay/lesbian programming and weird music channels. I hope that's not what they end up on, because their ratings are going to be abysmal. I think FX is the only channel that makes sense, assuming they don't get on the actual FOX network itself. Like someone else noted, maybe it would finally be the kick in the pants TNA needs. Remember when they first got on Spike? That initial special they put on was really good, IMO, but they basically went downhill from there. I don't even bother watching them anymore, because the whole show is just a big car wreck.

Boy, how generous of you. Would you like my Hard Knocks DVD as well?
-
"His hamstring just isn't clutch." Damian Miller, Brewers catcher, had a monster night last night. He had 7 RBIS, including two homers, one of which was a grand slam. Nice when your backup catcher is able to produce like that. Granted it was against the Pirates, but he tied a franchise record with that.
-
Well, everyone makes mistakes.
-
Maybe it should be. The barbarians deserve it.
-
Seems like open season on MLB managers is early this year.
-
Agreed. How pretentious can you get?
-
The Cubs had some help from mother nature today...the Brewers probably would've had three homers if not for the win blowing towards home plate. Fun series, all in all...the Brewers just needed to not get swept, and they did that. They have some easier games ahead against the Pirates and Nationals coming up, so I don't see the Cubs gaining much ground. Oh, and having four players in the All Star Game, including the first starter in forever, is nice.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
Dobbs 3K replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, they could try. The easiest way, imho? Have it revealed somehow (by GTV or whatever) that Dinsmore's not really retarded, that he just faked it so he could get a contract via affirmative action. And suddenly he's a Ringeresque heel because he's pretended to be a fuckin' retard for the past three years, just for the sake of getting a job. And if it doesn't work? Balls Mahoney whacks him with a chair and BANG, he loses so many grey cells he thinks he really IS Eugene. (Permanent brain damage = always funny.) That would actually be an interesting way to turn Eugene heel. The only hole in the storyline would be that Eric Bischoff was supposed to be his uncle, but most people probably don't remember that anyway. It would be cool if they used it to set up a Regal/Dinsmore feud, since Regal was his mentor for a while. Really though, if Dinsmore just shaved off his facial hair, and maybe styled his hair different and dyed it, he'd look pretty different and most people wouldn't make the connection to Eugene. Dinsmore looked way different in his WCW days than he does now. -
boom, bitch Time to eat crow. Hey leave him out of this. He knows that the Cubs suck. I can picture it now: Crow: "Well, championships on the Northside are kind of like Haley's Comet." Servo: "Actually, that comes around more often." Should be a fun rubber match today either way.

I'm surprised this thing didn't get more attention in the media. I think I saw the Daily Show mocking it, but that was about it. It really is disturbing, the total depravity of Hamas, which is supposed to represent and fight for the repressed Palestinian people.
