Yeah, unfortunately Mai started the whole thing with that infamous bouncy code... and I was shaking my head back then too...

Remember that Spike is owned by Viacom. The really should give them a more viable slot, especially if TNA is going to raise Impact to two hours. The old Thunder slot is a nice step up.

I saw Mike Sanders a few times and I was less than impressed. I don;t understand all the love he gets.

I bought X-Wing Alliance just to run simulated battles.... try taking down a Star Destroyer all by your lonesome. VERY hard to do. That game is a lot of fun. Tie Guardians rule the universe.

Not to go on a rant or anything but I absolutely hated the concept of the DOA series. They aren't bad as far as fighters go, but ye fucking gods...

Has that been confirmed??? Holy shit.

That's a shame about Ki, because I thought some of his best work alongside his ROH stuff was in TNA. His style alterations between ROH and TNA were fairly minimal. I thought that Homicide was going to come in and he and Konnan were going to split off from 4LK? Or was that just a rumor floating around? God, Ultimo would make a lot of sense, considering he was effectively neutered in the E. A return to WCW-style Ultimo would be awesome to me. I could see him and Joe doing what the Joe/Liger match was *supposed* to be doing. I totally concur about Danielson. He is about as unique as they come. And yes, I'm a mark for him too but Shelton would be a big time addition. He could chase in both the Heavyweight and X divisions, as he has the strength, ability and agility to excel in both. It breaks my heart a little bit to see his talent utterly wasted in the E right now.

you can tap both O and Triangle at the same time as well. You don;t have to hold them down to get a normal Irish Whip. I think I have calmed down but yes, the constant reversals on Hard level are just utterly ridiculous. There sohould be more of a sliding scale when it comes to reversals in regard to how beaten up you or your opponent are. In the previously mentioned Casket Match, I flat-out dominated the first 15-18 minutes of that match, then after the second attempt to put him in the casket, he went crazy with the reversals to the point where he was hitting two, sometimes three moves to my one... that makes no sense, as the more beaten up you are, the less possibility there should be of a move being reverse. I had a crimson mask on him, and his torso in the red, and his arms in the orange. That was a seriously frustrating thing to have happen.

I said it in another thread, but that crowd is almost as bad as the Nashville crowd was when it came to self-promotion.... I rarely saw it, but when I would see in Dames' reviews about a Face and Heel section, I rolled my eyes. Not to mention everyone obviously mugging for the camera, such as the one guy twirling the socks.... the Hardy Party doesn;t bother me because thats was Jeff has had since his days in the E, especially when he was on his singles push... But that crowd is fucking ANNOYING. Its like taking the worst of the old ECW crowds and multiplying by a factor of at least five.

After the Undertaker storyline, I am going back to HCTP. I just wasted 30 minutes of my life beating the crap out of Taker, and trying no less than three times to get him in that fucking casket, only to have him continually reverse everything I throw at him and he does *one* Last Ride, and the match is over. Confucious say, fuck this shit.

There is no way they are getting 3 million units sold by December 31st, especially with no killer app than everyone MUST get. I have seen the games out for it, and there is nothing that generates even half the buzz that Halo did for the first X-Box. Not to mention that I simply do not believe that they have that many units built, or can have that number built in 30 days. Money isn;t an issue for you Anya, but it is for the other 85-90% of gamers. Unless a game comes out that knocks me on my ass and makes me want to walk into a store and buy a 360 and that game, I am going to wait at least a year. The same goes for the PS3 when its released in March.

That would have been a much better way to build him up, but their trying to go for the bigger splash by placing him with Monty. It just isn't that necessary, IMO.

I was so disappointed when I found out that Lisa Loeb was marrying Dweezil Zappa. Which video was the one with Shakira doing all of the sinuous moves? White hot.

Good bounceback game from the Pistons in beating down a tired and sloppy Nuggets team. If Maurice Evans can be more consistent, he could be decent. He has the hops, a decent jumpshot, he just needs to improve defensively.
-
I just got a visual of Kevin Nash in the Longest Yard when I saw that post. I'm about as happy as I could be about this. TO deserves everything that is happening to him.
-
It won't, going to the Pistons would make more sense, even if I think it would screw up the team's chemistry. That was floated out there because of his connection to Marbury when he was in Minnesota. If it was anyone as the GM but Kevin McHale, I would agree with you. But he just might be that inept to let KG go for a song. KG is one of those players that you can't get equal value for, no matter how many guys you get in the trade.
-
Not if we told you before you pre-ordered the system that you wouldn't be getting it on the first shipment. We told everyone who pre-ordered the system after the first shipment that they wouldn't be getting on the released date. Thats why I would laugh if they got mad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, he's right. Having worked in retail for 9 years, people will take the opportunity to bitch at any given chance. But you'd be in no way at fault, especially if you gave them forewarning. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Correct on both counts. I went through this with the launches of the PS1 and the N64, and to a lesser extent, the Saturn.
-
Because KG is tired of coming close and never getting over the hump in the playoffs, no matter how well he plays. And because Minnesota wants to get rid of his salary and start from scratch. If KG went to Detroit (which I don;t think would be the best thing, as that would screw up the team's chemistry), the bandwagon would be overloaded instantly. On paper, I would almost liken the makeup of the team to the 1991 Bulls.
-
That would be a decent finish... neither one's heat gets killed and they both can move onto bigger and better things. Problem is, will that even be close to the actual finish?
-
Win 10 matches with a created wrestler to unlock the Tough Enough trophy, which will unlock the majority of moves. For the rest, you need to buy or win the corresponding legends... Can anyone tell me how to pull them/do moves off the cage? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would that be ten matches in exhibition mode?
-
it was in SvR last year.
-
And that just killed the thread and killed it dead.
-
How does one unlock the movesets? There isn;t an option in the locker room.
-
With Tenay and D'Amore having a hand, I think it's more than likely. I don't think TNA would book something like this without thinking it through. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Let's hope so because ever since the debut, there have been several head-scratching moments in regard to booking. Christian barely escaping with his life is the only way this works. No, the title would mean less than the IC title in the E if they did it that way. Championships (even in a worked sport like wrestling) have to mean something. In a perfect world, the World Title is the most prestigious, with the X division title and the theoretical TV title being #2 and #2a. Putting on someone who isn;t challenged for it week in and week out devalues it hugely. If Monty is being given the Goldberg push, then there is no need to give him a secondary championship. When TNA has more time for more and longer matches, then it should be busted out. They do need a third singles title for that roster.

The Magic I can believe, inept managing drove him out of there. Pistons got blown out, thus ends the unbeaten streak.
