I have a Lyger vs. Muta match where Muta actually umasked Lyger, but Lyger had a Muta-like makeup underneath, but you could still see what he looks like. That was one hell of a match, too.

Is it me, or is Joe moving at 3/4 speed?

He's got a hell of a lot more rhythm than Rikishi ever did.

I would be hitting it 15 minutes after she delivered the baby.

Is it just me, or is the fact that each progressive version of Hogan shrinks in height by an inch funny as hell? And I am going to have a wonderful time beating the living hell out of each version in turn. And I used to be a Hogan mark from day one, when he beat the Sheik.

I loved the "glass ceiling" reference in the writeup on Batista. I think that there are a few smarks at IGN.

Didn't click the link, but I'm wondering- Major game releases which are sold out (unless you have a pre-order) at most game stores can often be easily obtained at Wal-Mart on launch day. I'm wondering if it'll be the same for the 360, because even if I have an extra $400 to spare by then, pre-orders are likely backed up for weeks by now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It won't harm anything by waiting a number of months, un;ess you are a die-hard have-to-have-it-NOW kind of gamer, and you don't seem that way to me.

After reading that Kevin Nash/Spike TV conference call post, I don;t think you need to worry much about that. Two hours a week is coming. I think that character development is second on the list, below shocasing their talent. They're showing what their talent can do in the ring, and once that is established, then they'll move forward with character development. I think this time, they're learning to crawl before they can walk. Though they need to keep a good balance between the two. Too much of a talent-driven show, they will be criticized as Spotfest Central even more then they already are by some. Too much character development, and they are in serious danger of being Sports Entertainment. Both can be accomplished with a two hour show, but the fact that it seems they are taking baby steps is encouraging. Don;t look for too much too soon, though.

He is a classic case of high charisma, not-so-high talent. He might not be the greatest, but he's no El Gigante, either.

IWC fans will complain about any-and-everything.. it's pretty much a known fact. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What he said.

Spike giving TNA it's first Prime Time Special
Rendclaw replied to Dangerous A's topic in TNA Wrestling
If they do it Clash of the Champions-style, they do need to have at least two big matches on it every time. I also think that this is a test run to possibly move Impact up to two hours on a regular basis, hopefully sometime in 06. If that happens, I will be downright giddy. -
JR was at the top of his game when it was he and Bob Caudle in the NWA back in the mid to late 80s, but after a few years, it was obvious that Caudle was losing it. I get what Russo was saying, in that JR deserved better than to be used in some wack ass angle just to show the marks in the stands that he won;t be announcing anymore. And I have no doubt that there was more to it than just using him for an angle, as well. This is why I cannot stomach the steaming pile of crap that Raw has become.

Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde Every time I listen to it, it ties into my mother's passing last year and I get sad.

I've heard most of their themes.... they need to going more hard rock on some of them.... hell, even if they could get some of the standard entrance music that WCW had back in the day....

Agreed. Any time other feds can take good shots at the E is all good in my book, I just hope they don't overdo it.

Even if I hadn;t seen 75% of Impact Saturday night, your style makes it almost like I had watched it from the beginning. Excellent work again, Dames. Its like you never left.

Either way, I was entertained by it. It reminded me of a time when the E didn't take itself quite so seriously, when DX hadn't burned themselves out by constantly doing over-the-top segments, say early 97? That being said, TNA does need to keep such segments to a minimum for now. Sure they used to do these things regularly with 3LK, and I can see that they definitely needed to flesh out the characters of everyone involved with the segment with AMW in particular, but that can start TNA going down a slippery slope of doing more of them when they should keep the focus in the ring. I am eagerly awaiting Joe's debut next week, though I won't be able to see it until Monday night.

Wargames 87. The first and best by far.

Okay, whats going on? Nothing here in almost three weeks?

Sonjay impressed me, aside from that blown spot.

and forget it if you;re trying to put a limit on overall points... the way I build my namesake he would be in the 93-97 range. Any wrestler can be beaten by a lesser one if he knows what he is doing.

NBA Live 96 was the perfect basketball game. a good CAP system, it had pretty much every major basketball star from the 60s to the then present day, the gameplay was awesome... Gunstar Heroes is the best action platformer ever made, IMO. Shining Force I and II were excellent, and Street Fighter II SCE has much better gameplay than its SNES counterpart.
-
It would be the best-selling game of all time, to be sure. Shakespeare had the right of it.

Actually I like the thread. And actually it condenses the board some, as individual comments and opinions about games can just go here rather than making new threads that die after a week or two. Come on, Andrew, purposefully starting arguments?? You can do better than that. I had such hopes for you. I was thinking about buying volume 3, I still am, but I am simply having too much fun with CCC. I wonder if my Chun-Li SF controller would work with the SF games. Lord knows it would making things easier. I forgot just how high-powered Blanka is in SF2. Holy crap.

My only problem with Keiji is the Shining Wizard. Its like Hogan's Axe Bomber in that once you get hit with it its over, and you can see it coming a mile away.
