That sig is just wrong. I agree that the Mavs just got a lot more dangerous by this trade, but they definitely need a quality backup PG to give Steve Nash time to suck down oxygen before he resumes his 40-42 minutes per game average. Fortson was 4th in the league in rebounding a couple of years ago, and he's more of a banger, and the Mavs DEFINITELY needed a tough physical presence inside. I'm not saying that Dirk is soft because he's not, but Fortson is tougher on the glass than Dirk is.

Sony would not be stupid enough to release a game system in the beginning of 2004 anyway, when no one has any money to buy it because they spent money on Christmas. Everything I have read has said that the PS3 isn;t coming out until sometime in 2005.

I started a storyline with Low-Ki and he is an UNHOLY TERROR~! I find myself winning matches with him easier than with my namesake CAW... I set his logic at Striker/Balanced, and his stats are 2/3, 4/3, 4/3, 2/3. A little tweaking of his moveset, and his smackdown meter is full up within eight moves, and he is getting submission wins with the side leg lock and the edgecation like crazy... he survived a two on one against Rock and Angle, where he was playing Ricky Morton for 7/8 of the match... A Ki-Krusher 99 on the Rock laid him out and a Edgecation on angle and he tapped out.... then he went on to soundly beat the hell out of Rendclaw, who had 99 superstar points and he had I think 83 at the time.... all I can say is, wow.... when HCTP comes out and there are more Low-Ki moves in there (I hope), I shudder with fear.

After cynicalprofit, anything even close to that is going to pale in comparison. If this is bogus, (99.999% chance it is), this kid should be banned. I was starting to doubt things after reading his pulled over by a cop thread. What person in his right mind would give his kid an escalade, then he would get into accidents and get tickets left and right and NOT get his license pulled?? if it was me, my license would be suspended by now. I call BS.

Of course encores are planned. It is the first time the entire band can get offstage for more than five minutes, and yes they usually save their most popular songs for last. The only time I hated an encore was when I went to see Suicidal Tendencies a couple years ago... They played Send Me Your Money as the encorce when it should have IMO, "You Can't Bring Me Down"... I was so pissed because that was the popular song they didn;t play, and I wanted it. And Redbaron, no offense my man, but you need to be quiet about Maiden. I'm still bitter.

You got stopped by a prick officer, prolly a rookie. A cop with a few years under his belt will not stop you for doing 2 MPH over the limit, unless he's a total asshole. Were you doing that speed in the passing lane, and people were going around you on the right hand side? I have only gotten pulled over once for speeding, and that was when I was working for Airborne Express, we all got out of the warehouse late, and we're rushing to our delivery/pickup areas. I was zipping down a street en route to the highway when i ran into a speed trap. I got clocked doiing 45 in a 30. Fortunately the cop, while being dickish about it, let me off with a warning. I constantly do 75 in the highway here in Michigan, and there are state cops everywhere and they never bother anyone going 5 MPH over. Doing 80 and up, thats a different story. HBK should fight this ticket in court, cause chances are the cop in question is not going to show up. He should not have started an argument with him, as he has the authority (you will RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH~!), and it is going to make a bad situation worse, as HBK found out.

at least he can't go to scriptwriters and say that Wesley Snipes is not ready to win the final battle because it will not get over with the moviegoers....

Amen to that, this place has gotten me through some really boring nights here at work... of course I'm being laid off on Friday, but that means until I find a job I'll be at home a lot more, which means me getting increasingly irritated at having a lot of my posts no-sold. But that frustration is balanced out (almost) by meeting new people and helping them out with stuff ranging from emulation to relationships..

Considering that he has been on TV for maybe what, two months? Three? Let's just bury him now and not give him a chance once he's allowed to stwp out on his own. Unfortunately I do not think the package they give him will be a positive one. The only two black wrestler who has had a passable gimmick was Booker, and he's been running the same gimmick since the Harlem Heat days. Shelton Benjamin had the talent and that was plain to see from day one, when I might add, he had the same beginning gimmick as Orlando. Faarooq doesn;t talk much and beats people up. Simple yet effective. D-Von, Rodney Mack (the only positive is that he's teamed up with Teddy Long), and going back into history with Ahmed Johnson and further back, blacks hardly have been pushed very hard. The one major exception to this is The Rock, but then again he had the ability and charisma to start with and spent years maximizing both.

hmm.... I'm a little undecided about The Nose. He did a decent job for the Pistons, I'm wondering why they would let him go...

Philly fans are merciless bordering on classless at times, the Michael Irvin incident leading the way. As for Giambi, he went to NY because they gave him the best chance of winning a championahip, the money was secondary. Steinbrenner is rather anal-retentive but because he is following grooming rules set down by the team doesn;t make him a sellout. Turn the page, Oakland fans, he's gone, focus on the team you have. #1 - arguing with the cop wil get you exactly what you got, whether or not he was in the wrong. he has the badge and the only thing you can say is that you are going to fight this in court. #2 - it is near the end of the month and this cop is looking to make his quota. #3 - you're driving a fucking esclalade, which means that you have money. #4 - you get his badge number and you report him. #5 - When in doubt, refer to rules 1 through 4 and don't go any faster that 5 miles an hour over the limit, next time.
