I'm curious as to how Bill is going to rip on his son when the Lakers are in a game and losing by 15 and its garbage time.

I really liked the Steiner interview, and like I said before, Dames brought me over here, but your shoot interviews made me stay. I look forward to reading them every week. Keep them coming, and I cannot wait for the Cornette shoot. If there was ever someone in wrestling that had a take or an opinion, it was Jim Cornette.

That would be cool as a little "Huh? what was that?" moment while in a match. I just hope they took out the outside environment, because it was useless. I was happy that The World closed down just because it wasn;t going to be used in the next series of games. It was a neat idea, but the execution of it was horrible. I just hope that there are more characters in the backstage and arena areas and theyhave more of an impact on the storyline. But I just might be asking too much.

When I heard about the Summer Sanitarium, I questioned Metallica's judgement by going with some of these nu-metal bands... glad to see I was right about the worst of them all.

Hey, I LIKED Maxx Payne.... quoting Megdeth lyrics, even though he was a mid-carder he was pretty decent.

yes, even with the Nikita Koloff interference.... that match could have gone another 15-20 minutes and not gotten boring.

Oh there is a way you can tweak a CAW's logic to where he is a BEAST.. a friend of mine did Vader (which I am going to have to alter his moveset, because the one I have seen is out and out ridiculous) and he was a pain in the ass to fight. Beatable but hard. Then he did Andre, and wow.... a couple of moves are off, but man is he a pain to wrestle. I can only imagine what Andre will be like with the weight restrictions... or Vader for that matter.... I want to make a true old school Andre, where he had mobility, and could chase Heenan around the ring... not the Andre where his giantism really hampered him as a wrestler...

this makes me happy. And to hell with him doing Britney Spears. Two chameleons mating, thats all that is. They both have bought into their images to the point that I am SURE they have forgotten who and what they used to be, never mind who they are.

Heh, you guys are a little too jaded towards the WWE, if you;re seeing WWE plot devices in move scripts. Not like there isn;t anything WWE is putting out not worthy of getting jaded about.

Nicko is known for having a hellacious temper, too. I hope it doesn;t cause them to have to cancel any shows, especially since I have ambitions to see them in late august....

The real-time aspects are what killed it for me, the fact that there are only certain things that you can do at a certain time of day... I have a friend who swore by it, though he would play it like 18 hours a day sometimes. I don;t have that kind of time.

ah well.... I was wondering about that.... the last couple of times I did it with my first CAW was after a successful PPV run. *remembers with fondness where he had to defend the Hardcore, Tag, and Undisputed titles on one PPV*

Hendrix was decades before his time. SRV was the Hendrix of blues guitar. another underrated guitar player is Lindsey Buckingham.

No more dancing for Marky-Mark 2k3.

True enough, TDS. I wonder how many slots will be available for CAWs this time around, I was very happy that there were 36 slots for CAWs in SYM... even if the number was reduced to say, 24, I would still happy.. I hope that they put more matches on each card in the story mode, used tag teams properly, and have EVERY title defensed on EVERY PPV. That's a pet peeve of mine about SYM, is that created stables don;t have many tag matches, and with only three matches per Raw/SD/PPV, the title defenses were not all that consistent, unless you had the undisputed title. the graphics are wonderful to behold but I hope they fixed the esoteric stuff. By the way, for those who still play. when is the best time to ask for a title shot? I'm trying to get my hands on every title that my CAW can get, just to accomplish that task.. I have owned the Euro, Hardcore, Tag, and Undisputed Titles. I'm still trying to get my mitts on the IC title.

Hmm... that alone is making me think less of 2k3 if the scoring is keyed on just one player... now that I think about it I played 2k2 at Best Buy awhile back and it did seem to have one maybe two players do all the scoring.... I do like to distribute, though my CAP will take the majority of shots, I do like to ride the hot hand.... heh, I remember Live 96 when I would put Geert Hammink in to sub Shaq and he would go for 15-20 points easy.

I look at it as a challenge.... when you make a CAW in SYM, he's jobber with 50 Superstar Points... nothing made me happier when I got a win on the Rock at 60 points and him at 95. My first CAW is a nightmare under computer control now that he's at 97 pts and former world champion (currently held by my other CAW. My point is that I like having to work my way up in the ranks and get better after every match, rather being on a par with the superstars... it gives a good sense of accomplishment.

I hope not, Edge is a good worker.... Not Eddy or Benoit's level, but he's past decent. Jericho has the potential be the most loved or the most hated, especially if he is leading a "counter-revolution" in the locker room according to rumor. On the injury angle I never did like it when someone would vanish for six months to a year due to injury and get a monster push upon return. HHH is the just biggest example of this.

I loved Monster, and I never was a huge REM fan... I'm a guitar-oriented guy, thats why I have a guitar-oriented music show on IRC (when I can get time to DJ), and the fact that they wrote a song titled after what some dude was muttering while beating the crap out of Dan Rather is a never-ending source of amusement for me.

If there is nothing worse for a sports league, it is a dynasty. People stopped caring about the finals right around the time the Bulls won their 4th championship, and everyone knew that Jordan was not going to lose again after they lost to the Magic in his combeack year. Its not about the teams in the beginning. Its about the best, most dominant player. Once Jordan started winning titles, a lot of teams in the East knew they HAD to get better because the Eastern Conference plays the lion;s share of games against Chicago. The West had to do the same thing but they would beat on each other in the playoffs. I don;t think any team in the Western Conference went less than six games in their conference finals during the Bulls' dominance of the NBA. Fight that hard, only to get rolled by the Bulls in the Finals. Now, the power balance titled HARD towards the West when Shaq bolted from Orlando, and it only got worse when they drafted Kobe. I think the Spurs winning the titles might actually start the balance of power to shift back towards the middle, though it all depends how the next few seasons go. The bulk of talent in the league is in the West, thats why they are dominant. The circle will turn and then it will be the East, or better yet (in my mind) it will be equally split, and two talent-deep, deserving teams will meet in the finals, and there will be a seven game series for the ages. That's my hope, anyway. There is no way to make a seeding system that would be satisfactory. Using the previously mentioned system, it would be almost Western teams in the "Final Four" anyway.

why doesn't it surprise me that HHH is a Leo? But Dames is as well, and THAT surprises me.

I would just get the codecs, load them in and run them through WMP.
