nice job reviewing, it makes the crap sandwich we all had to take a bite from almost palatable.

I plan on driving over to Henry Ford in a couple of weeks and catching it there myself.... when I read about it in the newspaper, it was said that it had been reformatted for an IMAX screen. I had been planning on going to see Reloaded anyway, so why not go big?

War Games 87, both matches. The Powers of Pain/HighVoltage "Non-stop Pain" squash match from Nitro circa 95 or 96. Speaking of Nitro, the Japanese female tag match where a girl gets dumped right on her head.. Summerslam 87 main event, the Megapowers vs. the Megabucks, just for the finish... a Savage top-rope elbow followed by a Hogan legdrop. Any match with the classic Bulldogs in them, the perfect combination of power, speed and technical ability... (Makes a mental note to start a Dynamite Kid CAW at some point)

I have been waiting a copy of VP for a LONG time, but cannot find it... ah well time to do some comparison shopping.....

Unless it was a work, you would have thought Bob would have been fired after stiffing the hell out of Matt on TE.

I've beaten SSF2T, but I am getting my ass *kicked*in the Grand Master Edition.... everyone is so difficult and I have forgotten the super combos.... even more difficult without them.

Click here Now I will grant that it might be 3 in the morning on friday night and I am getting a little punch-drunk, but this article had be cracking up in spots.. Check it out...

I personally love BG:DA, but going through all the difficulty levels to obtain Drizzt is a little anticlimactic, as you can armor him up but the pathetic weapons Twinkle and Icingdeath (pathetic compared to some of the weapons you will find when you get around to the extreme level) don;t do him much justice... though his attack pattern is pretty impressive... BG:DA2 is due out in october or november, and I await that with baited breath, as Atari has shelved D&D heroes for the PS2 and GC in favor of the XBox..

Nintendo certainly didn't make one though it would have been a good idea... backward compatibility is always a good idea, just look at Sony. Nintendo and Sega could have extended the life of their 8- and 16-bit systems by releasing suhc a peripheral.. If it was korea than made one, I am SURE Taiwan made one... my ex roommate had a gizmo that let you copy SNES and Genesis games onto 3.5 inch floppy, and at the time she got it she was working in a video game store.... the first two nights of copying were just UNREAL.

This oughta be good to watch on SC when I get home. EDIT: now if there was a true curse on the BoSox, they would blow that lead and lose 26-25 or something.

My mother, because I have been craving her lasagna for ten years plus. Though my ex-fiancee #2 put a good 20 lb. on me through her cooking.

Latest Shane "Hurricane" Helms commentary
Rendclaw replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Who knew that when he was in 3 count that he was that damned funny? We need this here as a regular article, just like the Edgecation. -
Ahh racist angles, you have HAVE to love them.

Ace Combat 4, the best flight game on the PS2, bar none, and priced right at 19.99 Street Hoops: I love NBA Street, but it can get a little silly.. this is more of a pure basketball game. And again, priced right at 19.99 I would recommend doing online comparison shopping for PS2 games... I find that amazon.com has good prices for games, among the best, and if you buy more than $25 in mechandise, you get free shipping.

Those blunders are typical of Sega, who cannot keep a system viable for more than three years, with the exception of the Genesis/MegaDrive. They had a chance to really get themselves over with the saturn. They failed. They had another chance with the Dreamcast. Again, they failed. They cannot maintain long-term success, which is why Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft are on top right now.

I knew someone in canada who had like 15,000 mp3s and she would get harrassed by the Canadian version of the RIAA for sharing copyrighted music... her cable company would rat her out every time she did so... and this was over mIRC, too.

Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle was a fun game... Yu Yu Hakusho for the MD/genesis was a lot of fun, too. I thought that Royal Rumble was the best 16 bit domestic wrestling game out there... then I started play NJPW titles and there was one female puro game that was just *sick* to watch... I wish I could remember it. Everyone is entitled to their opinipons as to what they like, but WM Arcade and SF: the movie?? You're both sick. EDIT: Speaking of SSF2T, I found a Grand Master version of that, and DAMN is it hard.

Those are my boys over there at BTR, and they continue to land excellent interviews... I need to download the links so I can listen to it tomorrow or over the weekend.

the genesis 6 buttons were and still are the best gaming controllers ever.

I bought a book on the history of video games and it is a damned good read as it goes from the earliest pinball games from the turn of the century up to the state-of-the-art systems we have today.... a wonderful read for the hardcore gamer, such as Sakura and myself..

That's a cool interview, and he's right on the money about most of the topics. Another wrestler worthy of hearing what he has to say.... Speaking of that, where has the Edgecation been?

I can't wait for Dames' take on this show.

There is NO way that any commentating team could come even close to the magic of Gorilla/Heenan or Gorilla/Ventura. The only team that comes anywhere close is Schiavone/Tenay, although Schiavone/Zbysko was just flat out amusing at times.

No, not at all, but being a male in my 30s, I can certainly see where they are going with the series. You like different things than I do. Its plausible that you and I can like the same game for radically different reasons. That doesn't invalidate you in my eyes in any way. Hell I like you because you aren't ashamed to say *why* you like a game, and can do so admirably. Not to mention I think you;re cool cause you own arcade cabinets, but thats well-documented. Me, I want an RPG that makes me think and strategize. When I am not doing that, I want a story that what I think is good. As far as RPGs go these days, Baldur's Gate 2 for the PC fulfills both aspects of what I am looking for. To clarify I rank the following: 1. Gameplay 2. Storyline 3. Graphics/Sound I could care less if the music and graphics are average, as long as it makes me want to fire up my PS2 the moment I get home from work and see what will happen in an extended session tonight. On a tangent, I would rather see an RPG that was almost back down to SNES levels of graphics and sound if it meant that the game had 150 hours of gameplay, and a storyline that could hook you from word one. I'm sorry if you thought that I was discounting you, but that was not my intention at all. Do I find it disappointing that Square is taking the easy road rather than busting ass and making an RPG that can be more balanced in all areas? Yes, I do. I think they are pandering, and its sad to see. Again, my opinion. Take it for what its worth.

Dynamite Kid's snap suplex > Chris Benoit's snap suplex, though not by much these days. RVD sells DDT's and Piledrivers better and anyone. Splash - Vader Powerslam (tie) - Davey Boy Smith/Ted DiBiase/Dr. Death Belly-to-Belly - Magnum T.A.
