It would work, and it would be a good way to get Arn out there one last time. For someone who by his own words was strictly average, Arn rarely gets the credit he deserves for what he has done in his career, and him playing mentor to Benoit would be perfect, a feather in the cap, if you will. Benoit deserves a lot better than what has been done to him for the last what, five months? Even if they gave him the US title (by tournament or just literally giving it to him) and he spent the next 4-6 months legitimzing it, it would be light years better than what has happened to him. Not to mention better than what Hunter has done with the World title since it was handed to him.

I agree with you. Sentai is good for what it is, but it works better on the small screen. I don't think TF will be like that though. But, if you use as much CGI as I'm thinking you'd need, is it really live action anymore? Well, too much CGI and youmight as well make it 100% CGI, like Final Fantasy, and that will suck just as badly. I don;t know, I just cannot see a way to make such a movie anywhere near good.

My God, that is brilliant..... I've said it before and I will say it again, you should be a booker or writer somewhere, Rudo... not only would that work, if done right it could be the feud of the year, and last for about a year, ala Dreamer/Raven... Hurricane coming within inches of beating his arch rival many times, only to have his Storm Troopers rescue their leader by outside interference....

Just remember that in his heyday, most of the roster was SCARED of Andre at one point or another... if you screwed up during a match against him, he would let you know it... by putting some REAL pain on you. Back before his disease really raged out of control, if Andre and Goldberg had a match and Goldberg pulled that kind of crap, Andre would go out of his way to "correct" him.

Sounds like they are still a ways from making it actually decent... places like buy.com and others sell games for pretty decent discounts, and do offer such perks as free shipping... its a decent step for them, but it is only that.

Good point, RugbyDiva. I have to give him props as well for saying that... I want to email him myself and ask him a couple of questions, though if its done through the E, my email will be screened and edited, if not deleted outright... Considering that Steph is the boss' daughter as well as head writer, there is now way that any critique you give the writing is going to be taken positively. The UC team is living in a fishbowl, their own private little world where they cannot see the results of their ideas, where even if it is a decent idea, its done in such a half-assed way it hurts the product and the talent that is made to promote that product. Yes, its going to take the fall of the Roman Empire to make Vince, Steph and everyone else realize that bad decisions start at the top and that crap rolls downhill.

For reminding me of Masters of the Universe.

*Pearl-Harbors Downhome with a cast-iron skillet to the back of the head* There is no way... NO... WAY.. that this could be a good idea at all... if it was animated, even totally CGI'ed like Final Fantasy, maybe it would be.... but live action??? Damn all these Hollywood types for whoring out the icons of my childhood.....
-
It would be a decent idea, though my man is out with a collarbone injury....

The right thing to do is to give Benoit a long title reign/feud with Rhyno, but when was the last time Vince did the right thing? EDIT: By the way, I think we've been overdue for some ring destruction ala Taz vs. Bigelow.
-
Cena is not quite established enough in my eyes, but he will get a good shot at it, I am sure.. Rhyno would be good but they need to put Benoit over immediately, so he should be the first one to have it, especially seeing how he has(n't) been used these past months..... they never should have abolished the titles in the first place, but hey I'm good at stating the obvious. If vince does hit the reset button at WM20, every smark in this country will go berserk... or something.

eh, don't sweat it Dames, I weigh about 210 and everyone around me thinks I am a skinny beanpole.

Shawn Michaels was my favorite wrestler by far in that game.... atomic drop into the Dangerous Back Suplex.... 1... 2.....3. Though Taker breaking out the tombstone was always a mark-out moment for me.

This is the RIAA's stretegy. They cannot go after the people who create the software since they got smart enough to originate it from outside the US, and they have to go ater SOMEONE, so they are going to go after the little people who don't have the resources or the courage to stand up and tell them to piss off. A good number of artists don't care or even support file sharing as it promotes their music and makes it more likely that the people will see them in concert, which is where most artist make a good portion of their *real* money.... but with some other artists, too much money is never enough... I read the Metallica article in USA Today the did around the St. Anger album, and in it Lars was spewing some crap about how he doesn;t have a problem with the sharing of his music, but he wants to control what is put out there. Good luck. It's like Sting (the musical artist) said about the issue: You can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Its a new generation of music, and I like i saw some kid say in a Metallica video, every generation will scorn the next, and their music. Aside from the bands using the same instruments to make their music, thats where any comparable notes end.

Dell and Gateway are pretty much hit and miss..almost a 50/50 shot in getting a system that is wonderful and will last for years, or a piece of crap that will keep crashing and breaking down, no matter what they send to you to fix the problem. My ex-fiancee bought me an 850 mhz machine... so far all I have done is upgrade the video card, add a burner, put in another hard drive and add in 256 more megs of memory and it still performs like a champ... she bought the system froma local store, which always gives you plenty of room and ability to upgrade. I would suggest going that route rather than buying systems from companies like dell and gateway.

My whole take on Latifah is that she is a successful woman who just seems to do more and more, and men are intimidated by her... in that BTM piece she showed me that she was human, vulnerable and lonely, too. its a shame, because once you take away all the fame, money and glamour, she seems like she's one hell of a woman.

That's my point. why not just say, "I'll do anybody! Literally!"

Um, raz... you need to put the crack pipe down. EVH was more of an innovator back in the late 70s, going right though the 80s. His style has been revered by anyone with enough coordination to do a scale run for the last 25 years. He set the table and the standard by which almost every other guitarist worthy of the name would be judged. While I think that Morello did some creative things with the guitar, his actual playing style is very simplistic. Case in point: I was bored one day and I was noodling around on the guitar when Guerilla Radio came on the tv. I had the song down cold in ten minutes, and I'm not all that good. I will say that sometimes indeed less is more, but saying that Morello was more inventive than EVH is a rather silly statement to make.

I think LL proved he can act, and be decent with it... I liked Nas and DMX in Belly... Tupac was good in Juice... but I think Queen Latifah eclipsed them all this past year with Chicago. I saw the Behind the Music piece they did on her, and she never kept herself in one place for very long... she always branched out, doing things her way, and now she's on top of the world. Its a wonder why after all this time that she is still single.

Guitar playing does not have to be letter-precise to be *good*. while I mark for Satriani, Vai, Petrucci, et al, I also have a high appreciation for those who have a loose, flowing, and even sloppy style... players like Dave Murray, Hendrix and Slash. there are some great guitar players on the scene today, but the landscape of metal has changed so much today that I have hella difficulty relating to it. That's why my music preference is stuck in the 80s.... The Metal Age.

Jim Ross was on Between The Ropes this past wednesday night and discussed HHH, and state of the WWE, amongst other things. Also for those UFC fans, Tank Abbott was interviewed about his upcoming match with Kimo. I would suggest you check it out a betweentheropes.com.

He actually cut a better promo in 98, which I have on tape.

But Raw (16 bit version, that is) was so much better! Plus they had somewhat different movesets! I have to say that aside from Fire Pro deluxe, because of the INSANE moves that were available, RR was the best 16 bit wrestling game, though NJPW ranks a close third... I liked Raw as long as you didn;t do the crappy Wrestlemania Arcade-style finishers.

she does wonderful sigs, if you can pull her away from her RP long enough heh, defining sexual preference will always rank higher those almost every other societal definition, Mole.... everyone wants to know what everyone else is up to.
