funny thing is, those two songs always hype me up.... eh it must be the guitarist in me... Anything by Pink Floyd puts in a mood to slash my wrists, thats for sure.... Comfortably Numb tops that list.

For me its the Street Fighter II Image album... ever since my roommate got that CD years ago, it just tears me up... I took me months to get all of those songs off Kazaa too.... Ken's theme just kicks all kinds of ass.. Perfect mix of guitar and keyboard... Guile's theme also is a great one, every time I heard I thought that Joe Satriani would have a ball with this song.

American Idol is one of the worst "reality" ideas to ever come down the pike... Now that I think about it, I do download mp3s for the sake of testing the waters, as my disposable income is not to the point where I can buy like 4 or 5 CDs and spend $100 bucks... the RIAA cannot go after the millions (and millions) of people that use just one flie-sharing program, like Kazaa, never mind any of the myriad others... they can try to shut it down, but in the end they are going to fail, and every time they "succeed" it just pushes things back underground. The reason why prices are so high is because record companies pay RIDICULOUS amounts of money to these so-called artists, and then they have to make their money back somehow. Is raising the price of the albums the answer? No. The RIAA is finding out that yes, you can't force-feed music to us as expect to make an album triple-platinum in the first week... peoples musical tastes are starting to get way too varied for that strategy to work.

Agreed. I only buy albums of my favorite bands, and even then when I have the money... my mp3 collection stands at a paltry 1400 or so, compared to some who have 30,000 or more (thats what i call hardcore). I am in agreement that the prices for new music need to be lowered in order for sales to go up... Heh, I only use Kazaa for wrestling vids nowadays... I marked the hell out when I found the Bret Hart/Dynamite Kid match, made even better because Gorilla Monsoon was doing the PBP.... man, I miss the hell out of that man, may he RIP.

which perpetuates the cycle... ever since file-sharing became really big (the napster thing gave it publicity, but there were and are tons of ways to do file-sharing) RIAA should have known this was a fight that they could not win. Like Sting said about file-sharing and mp3s, Pandora's Box is open now, there's no way put back what has gotten out. RIAA is but one of the many examples of corproate greed.

Daredevil was miscast from the word go. I dislike the Ben Affleck/Matt Damon overexposure phenomenon and I think he is a middle-to-below average actor who brought NOTHING to the role. And while Jennifer Garner is a gorgeous girl, I thought the part of Elektra was all wrong for her in that her playing a martial artist of greek descent should have been played by someone with a little ethnicity, not someone as lovably white bread as Garner. They basically played it safe and went with bankable stars rather than actors who could have some better with the roles. Perhaps it was the script, but I doubt it. I'm intrigued by the Hulk, and like with X-Men, the story is going to make or break this film. I'm going to see Matrix Reloaded, as I really liked the first movie. It was innovative, and is a good mind trip. People are going to like and dislike what they will. One man's garbage, and all that.

That part of it, but the degrees you earn from Full Sail don;t do jack to help you land a job in the game design field.... their tours hype you up, show you all kinds of crap to make you sign up for their ultra-high tuitons, then cut you adrift the minute you set foot in the door. A lot of the students there I saw were rich kids who thought they could go there and piss around rather than go to a *real* college, and have little idea of how the REAL world works. As far as the faculty went, it was freaking Winter Park, the snooty, ultra white-bread side of Orlando. From what I was told, it was split into two factions. There were some who actually gave two shits about what their students learned, but they were outnumbered by the uppercrust, those who made middle-to-high five-figure salaries who didn't care about anything but getting the next batch of suckers in the door for the next semester, so they can make more money. I had been subjected to both sides of that attitude when I worked there. If I sound bitter about that place, its because I am. But not bitter enough to be unable to see that place for what it is.

Wendy's is the best fast food restaurant, PERIOD. God bless Dave Thomas' soul for staying the course, even though Wendy's was MAD expensive... I have to say though that the prices haven't changed much in 10 years.

Vader by FAR was the best, and I don;t say that just because I have him as my avatar, either... from the first time I saw him in WCW back at the GAB 89, all the way up until Vince bastardized his talent, I was way impressed with the man. I worked for full sail when I lived in Orlando. it was cool to look at with the recording sutdios, rows of Macs with Pro Tools stuff... but the school is a rather large scam, I'm afraid.
