The Story of XTREME PRO WRESTLING

Jerry Lynn has been confirmed to contribute. Unfortunately, Konnan and Sean Waltman cannot. I'm still awaiting word on Shane Douglas. Please now pick two of these four that you'd like to see contribute: Ron Killings, Shark Boy, Raven, Sonny Siaki. And let me know ASAP. Also, if you have any questions for Lynn, please post or PM them NO LATER than this Sunday night. I can't guarantee that any of them will be asked, but I'll try my best. -
He's definitely on roids, just look at his muscle definition...

XMV's Mike Nagel wrote: Where the f*** do I start this time??? Let's see...Aaron, myself, Jade and Jeff arrived at UPW in Santa Ana last night like 2 hrs. before showtime...Aaron and I are now working on production with UPW and we were there early to scope out the venue and set up the cameras...Everything was really cool. I was backstage for the most part of the night and everybody was very respectful and polite as was I...as that is how I was taught to be. As far as preconcived notions go I did feel that Chris Masters would probably be a d*ck, but I was completely and absolutely wrong...as far as the stuff I said about him on XMV I want to take this time right now to appologize to Chris because last night he absolutely changed my opinion. Chris, even though he is a WWE star now is still a very humble guy, he was very respectful, very approachable, very friendly and an all around professional...Rick Bassman was also very professional and appreciative of the fact Aaron and I were doing UPW's production last night and I want to thank him for the opportunity that we were given...My homie Josh who hooked all this up is awesome, a true professional and someone I hope to work with in the future...And of course....DUDE...RVD, there is only so much that can be said about Mr. Monday Night...Probably one of the most down to earth guys I have ever met and it was awesome seeing him again last night and for him to remember who I was is well COOL...It's always cool seeing Frankie Kazarian, as he has been awesome. He helped out XMV by allowing us to interview him so many times and I hope his WWE "future" looks good. Oh yeah and So Cal Val is very sexy...lol, what can I say about Val besides she always looks great, she always is one of the first people to say hello and she is one of my favorite people to see whenever I go to any show out here in LA... Now onto the show...Pukeboy saved my ass last night by allowing me the privelage of using his video camera as our hard cam and I know Pukeboy almost had issues of getting to the show, but he came through and I will always remember that...So we set up the hard cam, we left Jeff up in the balcony to make sure there were no issues, so that Aaron and I could switch off with the roaming cam...Aaron filmed the first 2 or 3 segments and then I took over...I've done this type of camera work since I was like 16, so it was just another day at the office...THEN IT ALL CHANGED....So I'm filming Luther Reigns doing his promo and I'm standing pretty close to the ring apron, filming and Luther turns to me and says get that camera out of my face...Now i've been doing this sh*t long enough to know that no wrestler is ever going to be stupid enough to actually break an $1800.00 digtal video camera...WOW I was wrong! This stupid son of a b***h full on hit the camera knocking it into my mouth busting the inside of my lip open and knocking one of my teeth loose...I couldn't believe this sh*t and to be honest I was more concerned about the camera than myself...I've been hit in the face before, no big deal...but this camera is more important to me and Aaron than anyone else realizes, this is the XMV camera, not a UPW camera...THEE XMV Camera and I was f***ing pissed...Pukeboy, Jade, Jeff, and Aaron were all in disbelief over what happened, but I was f***ing pissed. I went to the back found Josh and told him what happened, everybody was appologizing and for that I respect UPW, however I do not repect Luther "Horshu" Reigns one bit, he saw me in the back after everything talking with Hawk from Tough Enough 2, Michael Moody, and Rick Bassman, the asshole didn't offer an appology, he didn't come up to me and say sorry or shake my hand, he has no respect...I wonder why WWE FIRED HIS ASS...Whatever, so the rest of the night Aaron was livid as he should be...I was ready to get in a fight because I fear absolutely nobody...seriously I was ready to, but I didn't want to bring down the respect that people at UPW had for me, XMV or anyone else associated with me. Here's the footage: Mike Nagel cuts a promo on Horshu - http://www.nodqforums.com/luther.wmv God, this is hilarious!!!

Hey man, thanks for the interest. The precursor fed stuff is going to have to be at least three updates because to explain how XPW got formed, I need to explain the dWo incident at Slammers, which led directly to SCCW forming, and then XPW formed as a direct offshoot off of SCCW. I'll try to cut some of the stuff out if I don't think it's necessary, maybe I can get it down to four or so parts, but I don't think I can do much better than that. -

The one and only Kristi Myst has been contacted to contribute, so I'm awaiting word on her status. -
The DOI has received word, from people close to the promoters of "Ball Park Brawl", that tomorrow night, in Buffalo, NY, at "Ball Park Brawl", the first ever one-on-one match between CM Punk and Teddy Hart is scheduled to take place tomorrow. The match hasn't been announced yet, for unspecified reasons. CM Punk and Teddy Hart had heat in early 2004, resulting in a physical incident before a TNA event. The two have since squashed their real life heat, according to CM Punk, as Punk said in a recent shoot interview that the two have settled their differences. The rumor going right now, as to why this big time match hasn't been advertised at all, is that a booker of another promotion with close ties to Punk, influenced Punk not to do the show, if the match was advertised. However, that rumor has not been proven true yet. The promoters of Ball Park Brawl didn't confirm the match, but also didn't deny it was taking place when questioned about it. An update after the show, with results, is expected in the next few days. This event, also featuring Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley, Kid Kash, AJ Styles, Petey Williams and much more, takes place this Friday, July 15th. For more info on the show visit: Ball Park Brawl News The event will also be taped by 5 cameras and will be released on DVD. We'll have more on the DVD release once it's ready for sale. I didn't say the Juvi match was good, I said it was decent. I agree that the show pales in comparison to the other shows you mentioned. -

Both matches happen. The Raw Sewage match - Basically there's what's supposed to be feces (shit, poop, whatever you wanna call it) in huge buckets and the object is to slam your opponent into one of them, and whoever does that wins the match. The concept is horrible, absolutely horrible, and I've seen people trash the living fuck out of that match. But I swear, the match itself is quite fun. There's some great wrestling. Lizzy and Veronica both actually looked like legit wrestlers and pulled out some crazy moves you'd never expect from them. GQ Money and Angel also were tremendous. The finish to the match is absolutely insane. It's one of those matches you'll either love or hate. I wish people would forget how dumb the concept was (and it was really dumb) and watch the actual match, because there were some crazy ass moves. That was one of my favorite matches on the show. MMW vs. Xtasis & Venom Black and Luke & Matthew vs. AWC & Shady are also really good matches. The bucknaked match - basically the object is to pull all the clothes off of your opponent until they're buck naked. The finish sucks and you only get to see the loser completely naked for a split second before the lights go out. It's really a dumb match. Also about Damage Inc., Sabu and XPW management knew going in that was going to be his last XPW show, so they knew they had to take the title off of him because he wasn't going to be wrestling for XPW anymore. Damage Inc. also ended up being Josh Lazie (Sabu's manager) and Homeless Jimmy's last XPW shows. -

Well, Messiah was legit fired in real life from XPW about a week before the show and XPW had to figure out how to write him out of the storyline. So they had him descend back to heaven. Th ere was's a skit on XPW TV where he told Kevin Kleinrock that he got tired of XPW and that he wanted to go back to heaven to be with God. It was a pretty lame excuse for writing him out of the storyline, but they didn't have any other choice but to write him out. Messiah had beaten Damien Steele back in early 2000 and there was a skit on XPW TV where he buried Steele in a coffin and then buried that coffin in the ground. So now Steel was back in XPW and back from the dead, supposedly. He didn't last too long in XPW because of an incident that I'll get into a lot more in the retrospective. To say the least Damien Steele had all the potential in the world but he had a lot of personal demons. The two Rob Blacks was just horrible booking. Webb ended up winning the title because they wanted it to put on someone who they could count on, and Webb bled XPW 110% through and through. It was still horrible booking, though. Free Fall is a decent show, but you're much better off with Liberty or Death, Redemption, Hostile Takeover, or Baptized in Blood 2. Although if you watch Grimes/New Jack from that show knowing that Jack legit wanted to kill Grimes that night and that if the ring hadn't been moved three inches closer to the hard camera earlier that day, Grimes would almost surely have died by hitting the concrete, the match may be worth 7 bucks alone, its up to you. Kaos' Gauntlet match was good. Evan Karagias and Psychosis had a decent match if I recall. Juvi/Monsco de la Merced was a decent lucha match. I can't remember anything else from the card, though. -
Yeah, the commentary sound did indeed suck too. This was the first of UPW I've ever seen except for matches I've donwloaded on the net, and I wasn't impressed by their product at all. They're supposed to be a WWE developmental league? Ha.

Verdict in for trainee Brian Ong's fatal injury

I thought the DVD was pretty dumb. It costed me 10 bucks, but someone else I talked to said they got it for 8 buckm too, so I guess I overpaid. It did seem pretty poorly produced to me. The video quality was really pretty shitty for me too considering its a nationally produced DVD. The matches themselves were fun, but the video quality was what pissed me off. And Joanie's rendition of that song was hilarious...gotta love the heckling she got, although I do give her credit for sticking wtih it.

Yeah, Vic Grimes is in the game, too, I think. As is Nick Mondo, Zandig, New Jack, and Vampiro, they got a whole bunch of big names. New Jack got back to me and told me it's a possibility he'll do the interview, depending on whether or not his schedule permits. Let's hope he does! His last line to me was, "I'm getting fucked up right now with three white bitches. Be back in touch with you after we swap nut." Ahhh, gotta love New Jack... -

Just got done talking to Rivera. Really nice guy. He speaks perfect english, the accent thing is all a gimmick. As he told me, he was born and grew up in LA, even though his parents are from Cuba. We didn't finish the interview because there's so much to talk about it, so we'll be continuing tomorrow evening, so if you have any more questions get them in ASAP. Today, Rivera talked about his background in the music industry, his memories of Johnny Legend's Incredibly Strange Wrestling shows, initial impressions of XPW, his favorite XPW TV skits, racism in XPW, the HeatWave 2000 riot, and more. On the dockett for tomorrow is Messiah's departure from XPW, Josh Lazie's departure, his own departure, the fake Juantastico, EPIC/Gary Yap, LXW/Kirk Farrington, FCW (fcwrestling.com - this Sunday, Chris Kanyon and SABU return to California!), Bikini Brawls, and more. -

Sean McCaffrey and DeclarationOfIndependents.net have received word from several different wrestlers that Matt Hardy is backstage at tonight's WWE RAW event. One source told DOI that Matt would be returning to WWE tonight, although that isn't a sure thing. This is interesting because as of a couple of hours ago, Matt's 90-day non-compete clause expired and he is technically no longer under WWE contract and therefore a free agent. Being that Matt has been taking a more and more aggressive stance toward Lita and Edge over the past two weeks on his website, TheMattHardy.com, it's possible that tonight will mark some time of appearance by him on RAW. Matt is currently scheduled to wrestle Christopher Daniels later this month for Ring of Honor, and he is also expected to get involved with TNA down the line, where he would join his brother, Jeff.

Her: Hi, you can go fuck yourself. Do you think I am as stupid as the wrestlers you have interviewed? You need to get a life,or a girlfriend(Hint:posting on messageboards & talking about people you don't even know is not he best way to get laid). Getting a girlfrined is out fo the question since there are not many women who would want to do that type of charity work. You hardly know me & have talked about me. Never contact me again. Me: WOW, you really are as much of a bitch as people make you out to be. I've talked about you? I haven't said anything about you that isn't true on any message boards. I've given you a shitload of free publicity on web sites and message boards I write articles for. I have no idea why you're blowing up at me, but I guess that explains why everybody I've spoken to talks bad about you, even while putting over Brian as a great guy. "You hardly know me" Yeah, I know that you sabotaged a guys marriage and caused him to lose his house and that you cost people tons of bookings by blackballing them from other organizations. I tried to give you a chance to comment on a controversy involving you, but if you're just going to be the bitch that everyone makes you out to be, then there's nothing I can do to change how you're portrayed on the almighty Internet. By the way, I'm glad you supposedly know who I am when I've never met or talked to you. And honey, you're the last person to tell anybody to go fuck themself... Have a good day, Ms. Rhea Alexandria Devlugt. Don't let the bed bugs bite tonight. :::wink:::
