I stayed home. I had an exam that afternoon so was studying (in and around) the 24hours around it and then I had to get up early for work this morning.

The album definatly grows on you, but I think thats the style of their music. They have the few songs to draw you in, and the more you listen to it, the more you enjoy it as a whole. I have to agree that it seems that Laz is going a bit "there are better bands that I like, that aren't getting the same mainstream appeal. Tool suck in comparison and don't deserve their fame" frame of mind. It's not the best album I've ever heard, but it's not a write off straight away either. I think any CD I've enjoyed took me multiple listens to enjoy before I pass a final judgement.

I'm going to see them in Dublin. Got my tickets on ebay for about €70 a piece (as they were sold out, and I ordered 2 tickets). Beck's supporting them too, which is an added bonus and more justifiable. That and it's Radiohead.

I believe we just called it "pubs", where if you farted and the other person shouted "pubs" first, they kept hitting you until you listed 5 pubs.

I thought Silent Hill was a great film (production wise) and was an enjoyable way to pass two hours. I will admit that there was no real "scares" in the movie and that at some points the movie was missing those "meaty scenes" that captivate the viewer into watching more, but other than that it was definatly passable. My friend and I walked into An American Haunting at the party scene where some dude asks the daughter to ask (I believe about 10mins in). It started out good and has a good periodic feel, but I have to admit the film dies after a little bit. It's like "we're haunted... oh well" and they do nothing really about it. And the "twist" is a bit like "...well. Fuckit". I'm just glad I didn't pay to go see it.

Wait a minute, whats trash about the movie? And on the subject of the mask thing (while I haven't seen Mi:2, anyone i talk to says how shitty it was) there was little of it done in this movie, and it was explained when it was.

I'm still gonna hold out. I just know eventually he's going to bring out an "ultimate" edition with the orginal 3 unedited, the (new) original 3 edited, episodes 1-3 and about 10 bonus disks with special features and fan shit on them.

I thought it was possibly the best movie i've seen (so far) this year. Cruise and Hoffman were excellent. The cinematography was beautiful. The plot left no holes in it and the story was easy to follow without being brainless.
