Do you really think that the America media will care about this considering it is WWE and it was out of the country? You won't hear about this outside the internet, I say. Plus, who wants to bet that there won't be any punishment/ ban handled out in Germany in regards to WWE? Like the ones during their match on Raw? the meant you were being sarcastic right? :s Certainly did. Hell, Orton was getting face heat from noticeable sections of the crowd. Orton can only bump so much until he ends up in the middle of the ring with the 3 minute headlock, armbar, bodyscissors combo that leads people scratching their heads in confussion. It will come to a point where Edge does nothing but Spears and Orton trying to oversell bumps since neither have an idea what to do in the ring. Which is exactly what he has to do if he doesn't want to get "fussed" at. Did you not hear about the Rhyno fiasco a while back when he didn't do the rest holds spot? And Vince McMahon I think it was? came out and stopped the match because he said it was boring or something. I, along with most wrestling fans don't like it...but regardless the WWE is going with this "new style" of using rest holds 70% of the match. So it's not like it's Orton's fault, or he's the only one doing it. Even on SD, where they have all the people capable of doing spot matches..they do the same thing, with the Duds putting someone in a 5 min resthold...so it's not his fault that's what he does for some of the time in his matches. Actually, if I remember correctly, Vince came out when Rhyno *was* using restholds. Not because "he didn't do the rest holds spot".

My GOD. But isn't true what The Fink said? Bret is one of the greatest wrestlers ever (my favorite), but overall he wasn't much on the mike. Hulk was had great charisma and did great promos, but rarely wrestled a good match. HHH when motivated puts on great performances, and is universally know was a great talker. Out of curiousity, who else has been the "total package" as world champion? Some might say Rock and Chris Jericho (although most "marks" would consider him in HHH league)

Austin one-on-one match with HHH returning. Insane heat, awesome match. 5/21/01: Benoit/Jericho v. Austin/HHH There was also SummerSlam '01, a SD! in 2000 and one last year(Cena v. Benoit, Benoit v. Lesner), and a bunch of house shows over the last 3 years. Hopefully something memorable will happen tonight with the 5 matches announced, Dinsmore's in ring debut, and Kenzo Suzuki's on camera debut. *Awaits patiently*

JD 2000 is great, but JD 2001 is also a terrific show. Underrated IMO. And yes Armageddon 99 was good, while Rock Botteom was decent.

I'm sorry but I don't think that they got 600,000 buys because of "Benoit fighting in Canada" or Benoit's homecoming. The Final Encounter *match* and the Randy/Mick one-on-one match probably did it.

Although I am not a big hockey guy I am interested in the playoffs this year because my hometown team (Sharks) is still in it. I now they could have ended the series last night, but will have to wait til they get back to San Jose. I need to know: Has anyone advanced to the 3rd round yet? Although Sharks aren't one of the favorites, how far do you think they can go? Who are the big favorites (except Tampa)?

How about we ban the call to prayer and the church bells? To me they are both annoying. Indeed most of Japan's promotions are in a rut right now and just because "WWE sucks even more" doesn't make it less true. But this comment won't hurt them in Japan cause WWE fans there are just that: WWE fans and not really puroresu fans. I have a feeling that some Japanese puro fans feel the same way Ross does looking at the attendence and TV ratings for their shows nowadays.

I really don't have much to add that hasn't already been said, but the evil gajin gimmick actually still gets used a lot in Japan. Not as much as in America but still.

Sorry but I kinda like the Famicom one better...
