Sounds like something this writing staff would do. The only question is does Matt still have to play Kane's personal bitch and job to the newborn as well.

Oh my god! Stevie Richards' hair is 1/8 of an inch too long! SOMEONE CUT HIS HAIR~! Mattingly cut those damn sideburns!!!

Just picture Booker saying that and try not to laugh. I dare you. I imagine the hand out of the grave will be explained on Smackdown. As far as being resurrected to help Booker in his biggest match since jumping and not being there, thereby being completely pointless going into the PPV, that might not be explained.

That's just typical WWE logic, leave the performer as strictly comic relief and don't let them get over with actual talent and wrestling ability. It's the same as Rico, his gimmick is proven to work when the wrestler turns into a machine in the ring, but instead they've got his offense consisting almost entirely of gropes and mannerisms. At least with Dinsmore they're testing it out on house shows. Hopefully since this is failing the change will be to allow him to show off his ability. Of course that is if he has ability. I'm also skeptical about an OVW reputation. I don't know if they suddenly get strings attached when they get up to the WWE or if they're just overrated, but nobody has come anywhere near their fanfare.

You can't really compare previous years just by watching tapes, you really have to live through it. You can see a few good matches or a few good PPV's and think that it was a good year because you didn't see all the crap that took up the time before then. I'm not saying your opinion is right or wrong, I'm just saying you can't compare a year that you've seen 10-20% of to one that you've seen 90-100% of.

Too many to list but one of the first one that pops into my head was when he did the sing along with The Rock to Margaritaville. The tension between the two of them was just awesome and even though you knew that one of them was going to snap and attack, you had no idea which one or when. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it even though I really had no big interest in either performer at the time.

The main thing is what the audience can believe. Flair always made it believable that he could be beaten, the losses where he still held the title further cemented this belief. It's not believable that HHH will lose the title. The non title losing losses are seen as his token job to be returned in the title match. Whether this is because of smarter fans or HHH's inability to get this belief across is a matter of debate. I think it's a little bit of smart fans, but mostly HHH winning so convicingly and failing to enable us to suspend the knowledge and belief that we hold.

Flair: If these two had any talent or charisma, they wouldn't need me and I'd be out of work. Instead I get to still be the leer jet flying, limousine riding, kiss steeling, wheeling dealing son of a gun WOOOOOO!

I forgot about that one, he must have been real nervous. He also stumbled getting up on the second rope during his ring entrance. I'm sure not the way he wanted his last night to go, but at least he did get his WM appearance.

Yeah, it looked like he hit his head and jammed his neck pretty bad on that one. It was obvious that they were going to have to rush the match, but the bad thing is that it came off as rushed. It was expected for the Dragons and Funaki lower card guys, but when they reached the main eventer cruisers they rushed through them too. I blinked and missed the finish. I wasn't expecting this one to go half an hour, but a little time to put some psychology and build into the few spots it had would have been good.

Justin Hawk Undertaker. So after 2 months of hype they give us Bearer, some druids, and the exact same Taker just with a ten gallon cowboy hat. His look was a big letdown, let's see how he wrestles. My favourite spot with the Deadman has always been the situp, he takes abuse, sells it by going down dead, but then by the power of the urn, mystically is unhurt. They did this spot once, ONCE! Plus his offence was nothing but the old soupbone using Biker Taker punches leading to the tombstone. Overall I was left very disappointed by this return.

How is it attached? Some jerseys have a piece of fabric that the letters are sewn onto and that's sewn to the jersey. If that's the case, it would be relatively simple. If the letters are sewn directly onto the jersey then it would be a hell of a lot more work and you'd likely have an impression of those letters left behind. Either way, just go to any sports shop that does jerseys and ask them. They'll either do it or advise you where to go.

Michaelangelo needed granite to carve out David, he couldn't have made the masterpiece if he only had bullshit to work with. I'm not saying that SOH has that kind of talent, far from it, but you can't blame him for an angle flopping when the best thing they give him to work with was "make this guy run around naked".

Preach on Brother Storm. I tend to speak my mind too and I've got a list of offended people that's about a mile long. This list of people I've apologized to however is running at around zero. I apologize when I've done something wrong, not when someone's over-sensitive, whiny bitch sense of values have been offended. What's the value of an apology when they're handed out freely to the person that wants to complain about your breathing.

Kidman's Rep Improving, Wilson's Getting Worse
evilhomer replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
No what Kidman meant was that there is a code with the wrestlers that a wrestler won't steal the finisher of another wrestler that is in the same fed with him. Now if they were in different feds it would be different. Brock didn't steal the move. It's a move that he's done before and was supposed to be a surprise highlight finish to the match. It's not like he was going out every week doing a SSP. -
Please tell me you were joking about the Hogan run in, please. I think a Hogan return would be pointless at this time. Just about every wrestler has a dancing partner already, so the only thing that's left is Hogan/Rock II. That was a match made great by crowd response, but I really don't want to see it again. I agree that one of the biggest stars ever should be on the biggest show ever but with what they have for him, why bother.

Kidman's Rep Improving, Wilson's Getting Worse
evilhomer replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Which is why Victoria is stupid for wanting to pose in Playboy if they are interested in her. Not really. If she can make five times her salary from one photo shoot, then that makes up for the five years of her career that it takes off. Of course it would be nice to see her in the ring for a long time, but when your in ring career can end tomorrow on any given day, take what you can get when you can get it. -
Vince McMahon's big announcement (*Spoilers*)
evilhomer replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Geez, you don't think his next big announcement could be that colossal match or the decade, the one that we will tell our grandchildren about: VINCE McMAHON vs ERIC BISCHOFF No way, that one will never happen -
For Jericho, I always see the moment of truth for him being the Hell in a Cell with HHH. Everything was set for Jericho to go over, it was a good match with plenty of offence from both sides so a loss would not have hurt HHH at all. A win would have finally given Jericho "the big one" and showed that he does deserve a spot with the big boys. But instead he does the job, and gets the "good, but not good enough". He gave HHH everything he had and then some, and it still wasn't enough. Sure he got the title after this, but the manner in which he got it (going over Rock & Austin) just looked like a forced push, something that I really couldn't believe in. This combined with the weak champion he portrayed plus the fiasco that was the build up and the championship match just threw more dirt onto the grave of his main even status.

A couple of Taker classics that always spring to mind. #1 - Hell in a Cell with Brock. Brock rips the cast off Taker's "broken" hand, magically healing it. He was at least selling pain when he was punching with the cast on, but as soon as it came off, *poof* no more pain. #2 - During the beginning of the Invasion, I believe it was the second or third week after DDP was revealed as the stalker. Taker is out for DDP's blood and gets lured into a trap where he gets jumped by 8-10 guys and is then beaten down. Not only does he do a complete no-sell on the beat down, but all 10 guys can't even hold him back and get their asses handed to them, most knocked out with one punch. I could understand the intention of the segment. Taker was absolutely furious and nothing was going to stop him from reaching DDP. But 10 professional wrestlers not being able to stop him or even hurt him?!? Come on. Two or three guys I could understand, it happens, that's wrestling, but when he single handedly kicked the ass of what was the entire WCW roster, it totally killed the angle for me.

TL Hopper, the wrestling plumber El Matador, Tito Santana, a fued with Mantaur seemed like a natural Steve Austin as the Ringmaster
-
I think the Bashams were doing a pretty good job of that on their own.

He'll probably go with one of those goth thin chin stripes. I remember reading in the days when kayfabe lived that Taker was ordered to stay out of the sun to keep his skin as pale as possible. I think his tanned skin is going to be the biggest problem in returning his dead man look. Natural growth and extensions will take care of the hair easily.
