On the throw it looked like Stevie slipped out of his hands and he went down head and shoulder first HARD. They didn't show a replay so I couldn't really tell how he hit, I just knew that it wasn't right.

I'm not sure if this is a virus or what it is but for some reason I'm getting linked to a porn site on certain links that should take me elsewhere. On this board alone the first link will take me where it should the next and every second one will take me to the porn site. I did a virus scan and came up clean, I did a spyware check and deleted anything that showed, I deleted any other cookies or anything else that looked suspicious, but the problem is still there. I've never downloaded a program, but some sites do seem to take over the computer while they trap you in pop up hell. I don't want to put words in Lance's mouth but the Bubba example is a very easy and logical assumption to make. Lance is kind of in a bad spot here anyways, he puts the armband on and eveyone says he's just keeping up appearances, he doesn't and he gets this. I think the Confidential segment that aired Saturday was the best indication of his mourning. I don't know if I'd say bad things about Jones though. I haven't bothered with Heat ever since they turfed Raven, but I've really wanted to catch an episode ever since I heard of the Stevie Night Heat thing. But every Sunday, I either forget, I'm out, I'm asleep or whatever and I miss it. This Sunday I was so into catching the show, I remembered, I was looking forward to it the whole day, 7 o'clock comes and whatthefuckisthisshit?!? I think I'm just destined to never see it again. It's a real crap shoot with cheap products. I had one that broke 5 times in the first year before I chucked it because the warranty is up. I've got another that I've been using off and on for 5 years without trouble. The only real thing to say is if it works, count yourself lucky, if it don't work, you get what you paid for.

For non-techies: IC = integrated circuit, the microprocessor(s) in the cartridge. I had a copy of No Mercy that got smashed. The IC's were ok, but the pc board was cracked beyond repair. I was going to chuck it, but then figured I'd check to see if I could swap the IC's with my Revenge cartridge since I stopped playing that game. I crack the two of them open and the pc boards are completely different, but the IC's are the same size and have the same pin configuration. I get the NM IC's soldered into the Revenge board, plug it in and was shocked to see that it actually worked. I just did it yesterday, so I haven't been able to test it thoroughly and long term. I'm a little worried that I'm frying something because of the different boards that the two had. Has anybody else ever done this and what were the results? Thanks

Not a good idea unless you have the bit to open the cartridge. I don't so I had to cut a groove into the security screws and twist them with a slot screwdriver. It's impossible to do this without causing (cosmetic) damage to the case, so they would definately know what you did. It DOES work. As I said, I swapped them and it now works, the game and the memory. The thing I'm worried about now is whether or not I'm frying my console because it's passing through an extra IC that the Revenge board has that the NM board didn't have. I'm guessing that it's just bypassing that extra IC but I don't know shit about the technical aspect, I can only do the mechanical work of swapping. Riiiiiiight. In this lose-lose situation, I'll guess they'll go with Test winning via screwjob only because of the "putting the much-beloved face in embarrasing situations" aspect that they love to write up. La Resistance and Conway vs. All the Dudleys La Resistance wins (after each one of them is put through a table yet the ref didn't see it). Christian vs. Jericho vs. RVD Christian wins because a loss at this point would kill his character and the IC title in one fell swoop JR and King vs. Coach and Al Snow I really couldn't care less HBK vs. Orton Orton with help from Flair Kane vs. Shane Mcmahon Shane hits all his big spots and looks to have the match won with the flying elbow or the Van Terminator, but the inhuman monster can't be hurt and gets the win. Goldberg vs. HHH I can't shake the feeling that HHH is still going over here. But there will be some screwing finish that allows Austin to come out the next night on Raw and reinstate Goldberg and he goes on to win the title then.
