He might be hanging around somewhere.
-
I met Val Venis and Edge at a Markham Ontario mall. I think they were doing some kind of appearance but by this point they were just hanging out trying to pick up girls. It was when they were just starting in the Fed and they actually looked kind of annoyed that nobody recognized them. I can't really remember what I said, just something like "I like your work". They were nice guys to meet though.

Nah, the main title makes the situation clear. I knew exactly what you were doing with the subtitle joke. Good for Booker. I'll miss him because he was one of the only unique characters they have going now but I'm glad he's telling them where to shove it.

my theory on that (aside from the reality of not wanting to get shocked) was always they didnt wanna risk destroying the monitors and having to buy new ones for Vince (a sorta you break it you buy it rule), which must obviously cost 1/2 a million dollars given the inflated values and weights of objects in WWF-land...but of course that contradicts with breaking the table itself so I dunno.. That theory goes out the window when you see them pull the things out and let them drop to the floor (cables permitting).

The only defense for that one is that even though you won't get DQ'd, you're still not allowed to do it. The ref might grab the chair, chew you out rather than count the pin, etc. Anybody who has wrestled The Undertaker and stood there while he goes old school. I don't care how loopy he's knocked you, he's walking on the ropes, the slightest push or pull will knock him down. Back to Flair, the 999,943rd time he went to the top rope only to get thrown off. Dude, it hasn't worked for over 5 years, stop trying. (Of course having said that, he has hit it a few more times recently).

As long as we get to see this:

Start off with a formal letter stating your case, how the items were improperly removed and request him to return them. State that if he doesn't return them you will sue him for their return and for all fees associated with their return (check local laws to see if the latter is a legal possibility). This is the first step if it does go to court. If I were in that situation, I'd give you back what's garbage to me rather than go through that pain in the ass. Problem being, this guy sounds like a prick, he might fuck up the tapes prior to returning them, so option B: hire a hitman

Bonnie Hammer submitting ideas to Vince

I hate to agree with you but I do. I've given up watching the shows on a regular basis, I just flip to it now and then, but this was the first thing in about two years that I made a point of watching for. Don't get me wrong, I hated the angle and everything about it but morbid curiosity drew me to see what the fuck they were going to do. Of course, this kind of thing is only a temporary fix. I was ready to give up by the time the angle was ended. Without good writing, and good action to back it up, shock tv will only give them an occasional spike. -

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.

Isn't that Linda's role? For those who've never seen it: -
Yeah, that was a stipulation. What's TNA's record on holding to these?

You can't say a damn thing without at least one oversensitive shit for brains being offended. Amen. -

It was fans booing and what-ing everything that made them change direction. Good taste had nothing to do with it. On another note, who will come out on Raw wearing an "I DID IT" shirt? -

For making me a two-time Wrestlecrap inductee. -
Besides everything associated with this angle being wrong, her coming out to that was a huge WTF? Here's a humble, somber, sympathy seeking victim coming out introduced by "fuck all you bitches, I'm the queen bitch" or whatever the fuck the lyrics are. Clearly Vince's stupidity lives on.

One vote for "yes, you're the only one". I've always been a Vicious fan but no matter how hard I tried to like him during that push, I couldn't help but hate it all.

Part of what made Flairs so bad was that HHH turned on him, specifically because of how proud Flair was to become the IC champion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXfuSPvMDzw At about the 2:45 mark of this video, there's a clip from Goldberg vs Kronik. Goldie goes for a spear, misses and hits the corner post legit. He's clearly knocked loopy, if not out cold. So my question is, what happened next? I remember that this was during "the streak" part deux, so obviously Goldie could not lose, but that's all I remember. How did they stall, how did they give Goldie the necessary recovery time to give him the eventual victory? Oh, and if you want to throw in a comment about Goldie being a clumsy fuck who didn't care about his own well being, let alone that of his opponent, be my guest.

I think it was Jackie Gayda in the ring with Steiner there.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that very fact is mentioned in the narration.

I liked the use of the spot, but they compeletly fucked it up. The spot is, face makes tag that ref doesn't see AND gets dragged away from his corner afterward. How stupid does a ref have to be to not realize that the guy sitting in his own corner was able to make the tag.... oh right WWE logic.

I don't know if this was the cause but I noticed the problem after Bit Torrent was installed. It started out as a pop up showing up whenever opening internet explorer. The pop up was for Adult Friend Finder. I'm running AVG Free 7.5 and it found nothing. Spybot search and destroy found nothing. I did a housecall scan at Trend micro. It wasn't clear on what it found, just said there were 7 cookies. But when I hit clean, it went to work knocking out a number of worms and trojans. That appeared to take care of the pop up problem. Now the problem that's still there. There are two IEXPLORE.EXE processes running as ghosts. I see them in the task manager and on my firewall, but nowhere else. When I try to shut them down I there a brief process that comes up called SETUPO~.EXE or STOREG~.EXE and the ghost IE process starts right back up. Any help identifying this problem and killing it would be appreciated.

And again, I'm almost positive I've seen Perfect take the same bump. I'd hate to turn this into one of those stupid "if wrestler X did it..." debates, but I don't get why it's so unprofessional in Shawn's case while Perfect gets a free pass on that stuff. Perfect took similar bumps, and I know the bump he did that I'm sure is the one you're thinking of, but he never did bumps like that. Perfect did his to get over the strength of his opponent and were done to make the other guy look good. Shawn's, in that match, were done purely to make the match into a joke because he was upset over having to do the job. Perfect never did that, which is where the difference is. Similar to the Flair flop. It's an expected character trait to put in that ridiculous overselling. I don't want to get into the assumed reasons behind it, but Michaels performing like that in one single match really looked like shit, totally corny and cartoony. Regarding Saturn, I don't think one (or two) matches where he stiffed and stretched someone who wasn't co-operating warrants an inclusion on this list. On the other hand, there's Paul Roma. Despite (eventually) doing the job, he no-sold everything and refused to work with Alex Wright in a WCW match. While it was a single incident, (I don't remember hearing of anything else), it got him immediately fired and he never worked in the american majors again.
